Our cancellation policies are strictly enforced regardless of the reason for cancellation. If you need to reschedule your date, you must be in compliance with cancellation policy first. If there is a blizzard, road closure, fire, smoke, rock slide, avalanche and/or any other natural disasters, our cancellation policy will still be enforced as we cannot expect our property owners to be held accountable for refunds for natural disasters which are expected to occur in the High Sierra Nevada Mountain Range on a constant, regular basis.

Cleaning fees also include: Maintenance, supplies, restocking costs. This pays for guest consumables (Such as laundry detergent, soaps, shampoos, starter set of paper towels, tp, etc. For longer stays, we ask guests to purchase). Replacement of items such as broken coffee makers, portable heaters, fans, linens, towels and more. Regular trash removal from bear bins to town dump. We ask guests to assist with optional checkout procedures that are very time consuming such as start dishwasher, wash a load or two of towels. While these procedures are optional for guests, they are highly appreciated to help save our cleaners time, particularly for our back to back turnovers which are very difficult in the Vacation Home Rental industry. – Thank You Lux Villa VR
It was the perfect spot for a weekend getaway
Cozy, nice place. Had a great time!
In general property is as advertised. Several issues I would note, however. Its rather a dark cabin with only one main overhead light in the living room. Also, it was chilly in Tahoe even though its mid June. The heating was very irregular with several space heaters available. Often, when it was warm downstairs it became way too hot in the loft and vice versa. Baseboard heaters would be better. Also, is a bit treacherous climbing the steep stairs to/from the loft in the dark.
The house is in a nice area. The house doesn’t have central heat or a wood burning fireplace as advertised instead space heaters and a small gas stove fireplace to heat the house. It is hard to maintain a comfortable temperature. The stairs to the bedroom remind me of stairs in an ancient sailing ship. Super steep and not evenly spaced. The hot tub was nice but only 4 cheap towels were provided. Nice deck but no deck Funiture. We have done a lot of VRBO homes this one is lacking the finer details and should be more accurate with the description.
Clean cozy and easy!
Overall a great experience. Way more snow than we expected, but it worked out. Property management contact set us up with someone to help us get unstuck which was extremely helpful!
Nice location but no real central heat and no home insulation. Very steep stairs to sleeping loft.
No heater thermostat provided,Not cleaning (bed sheets were so dirty with hair, spots and others dirty stuffs,if you use stove electrical cut off.
We stayed here for our first anniversary and really enjoyed ourselves and definitely would stay there again. It is in a great location close to everything South Lake Tahoe has to offer. There were only a few things that were a bit strange, there were only 4 towels in the entire place that we could find, and they were older and mismatched white towels, the other thing was there were no tissues that we could find in the house either. Beyond that we really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend it to another couple :).
This place was perfect for our short Tahoe getaway. We were able to bring our dog and enjoy all the dog-friendly activities the Tahoe area has. Great location right off of Pioneer Trail and Ski Run Blvd. The location is walking distance to several restaurants.
I cannot recommend this location enough. There were only three of us, myself and my two boys (9 & 12), and this home was the perfect size for the three of us. This is the first time EVER that I've had a pull-out mattress that was actually comfortable enough to sleep on and neither of my kids complained even once. The upstairs room was great for one person, and the bed was incredibly comfortable (dare I say even better than my bed at home... I should have looked at what it was!). Everything was extremely clean, well taken care of, and I felt at home our entire stay. We had a difficult time getting the door codes to work, but the owner immediately responded to my texts to assist. We were able to walk to various places, which cut down on the need to drive (and deal with parking), which was a huge plus. There was a LOT of construction going on while we were there, and at one point we got blocked into the driveway by a dumptruck and had to head out on foot, but luckily we were close enough to do so. I have zero complaints, and if we end up going to Tahoe again we will absolutely stay here again.
Only issue we had - was the pull out couch/bed mattress was horrible.
My husband and I spent our 9 day honeymoon in this perfect little cabin. The host was always very reachable and responded right away with any questions. The location is perfect for walking to the lake, meals, and even enjoying farmers market only 50 yards away if you happen to be there on a Friday evening. We 100% plan to book this listing in the future : ) If I had to make one suggestion, it would only be that a full length mirror somewhere in the cabin would be nice dressy evenings out, but obviously not all that important. Thanks!
