Grants Pass, Oregon
Welcome to the little Chalet in the beautiful Oregon woods! This charming private guest house on 4 acres is just 2 miles from downtown Grants Pass and 3 minutes from grocery stores and shopping yet you feel as if you are out in the country far removed from anything and everything.
The guest house is up the hill about a hundred feet from the Owners home and is designed to be private.
Nestled against the base of one of the foothills surrounding our beautiful valley you truly feel peace and quiet while observing nature.
Quiet cozy guest chalet is newly built and equipped for a relaxing comfortable stay ideally for couples or small families.
The chalet is built up the hillside so features 2 levels of 3 to 4 steps up to the next level.
Main floor is living room/sleeping space with queen sleeper sofa with extra pillow topper for added comfort. Also has comfy rocker chairs.
Second level is kitchen and sleeping loft access. Kitchen has 2 burner stove top, and Cuisinart air fryer/ baker/ toaster/roaster. Fully equipped with dish washer and fridge and coffee maker. Pots pans, utensils all provided.
Third level has King bed in the master with the full bathroom on the same landing.
Both beds are protected with mattress protectors.
There is a sleeping loft that is carpeted and has twin size air mattresses and sleeping bags and pillows.
Spa towels and outdoor blankets for chilly weather are provided.
T.V. Is internet based via satellite so streaming does not work well. Samsung TV network is provided and works great. There is also a DVD player and some movies provided. There are also a couple of red box movie rental machines nearby.
Prepare to unplug and enjoy nature!
Note: AT& T does not work well in this area. All others seem to work fine.
There is a seasonal creek the runs the length of the lower end of the property. It usually runs late October thru mid June and is dry in the summer.
Wildlife you will see are Gray Squirrels, a variety of birds including woodpeckers, swallows and a pair of Red Tail Hawks that have a nest up the hill. You will also likely see deer, wild turkeys, Jack Rabbits and occasionally a herd of Elk moves around the area.
Thank you so much for sharing! Hot tub was amazing after a long day of hiking, everything was very clean ans anything we needed they brought over fast!
Pictures do not do this remarkable find justice! Very nice setting and well thought out living space with all the amenities. Angela the host was more than helpful and prompt with messaging. Great base camp for so much to see near Grants Pass. Hot tub was a plus after hiking for the day. Wildlife abundant on property. Will be returning hopefully soon. Thank you for sharing the chalet with us! It was a great stay.
It was wonderful, close to everything, and exceptionally clean. We loved our stay and we’ll be back. Thank you to our host for checking on us!
It had everything we needed and more! Super clean n cute! Will be back!!
So cute! Everything was perfect! Close to town but feels like you’re in the woods. Loved listening to the turkeys in the morning; beautiful property! Great hot tub and enjoyed the fire pit. Definitely a 5 star stay!
This is a wonderful place to stay if you enjoy nature and getting away from it all. The chalet was beautifully appointed, light and airy. The outdoors was very inviting and lush. Saw turkeys and deer while staying there. The hosts were very nice and communicated well. If I am back in the area would most definitely stay here again!
Beautiful craftsmanship! You can tell the owners love their chalet. We saw deer and turkeys on the property and my grandson loved the garden with fresh strawberries.
Perfect location for a quiet romantic weekend away. Close to Downtown Grants Pass and wineries, highly recommend!
We had lots of fun being here. No complaints. There is multiple things close by that you can do. Beautiful winery’s to visit, a hot spring is 2hrs away which was beautiful and a National park also 2hrs away. Hot tub was nice for relaxing, bbq was very convenient we bbq every day! It was a very cute cabin inside perfect for a get away for a couple :)
Cute clean and relaxing little cabin. We enjoyed the relaxing in both the indoor and outdoor spaces, especially the hot tub. Very comfortable king bed. Was a little closer to the main house than we thought, but hosts respected our privacy and responded to questions quickly, even allowed early check in. Close to town for exploring, enjoyed Taprock for riverside dining.
This is one of my favorite short-term listings of all time, with a lush woodsy interior, and a patio and hot tub that allows you to enjoy the woods outside. Might be cozy for more than couples, but this was an amazing base camp for exploring Southern Oregon and Northern California.
Really peaceful, deer in the morning crossing your yard, squirrels flying from tree to tree. All this before you dip in your own jacuzzi. Nice hosts who love to share their selfmade home with you. You feel that they build it with their hart.
Every detail that was put into this property makes it a wonderful place to stay. Beautiful, cute, and comfy are three words that best described the experience. Excellent outdoor area for a conversation around the table or dip in the hot tub. Nice location being close to town and shielded from the road by beautiful trees. Adorable escape!
My future husband and I got married in the area and saw all the pictures of the property and decided this was the perfect place for my bridal party to get ready at and have our first looks at. Need I say more! Whatever the occasion you will enjoy your stay and can’t underestimate how accommodating our host was. Ten out or 5 stars ⭐️
Very cozy and comfortable stay in Grants Pass
Our family of four stayed at the chalet while visiting relatives nearby. The chalet is lovely and impeccably clean, and the setting was so beautiful and quiet. Our schedule didn't allow for time to use the outside amenities (grill, fire pit, hot tub) but we hope to return to take full advantage of all the chalet has to offer.
I came to Grant's Pass to visit family. My family and I really enjoyed the wild life, we saw deer and lots of wild turkeys. Quite place just far enough away from town. Fire pit and hot tub made for relaxing nights. Our Son loved sleeping in the loft. Overall a great experience.
I only wish we could have stayed a little longer! A cozy home that's sparkling clean and beautifully furnished. The deck, hot tub, hammock chair, and fire pit were absolutely lovely. It was a perfect stopover spot to rest and soak in some nature on our way from Portland to San Francisco.
