Rented this place for 4 nights for our visit from South Carolina to Florida , house was clean, fully stocked , we enjoyed the pool area, nice neighborhood, our host ( Ashleigh) was very responsive and helpful , we would definitely book this cute house again if ever in the area, felt like home
The only reasons this was not five stars. The property is in need of updating. The main bathroom and smaller bedroom has a wet smell. The house was pretty clean and the kayaking was wonderful. The neighborhood is fun to walk around and visit local establishments.
We enjoyed our stay. The pool was nice for a family of 4 to hangout and play. The property was clean and well stocked with essential kitchen items. We really enjoyed having the kayaks on site to use whenever we wanted to and totally loved the kayak launch. Would recommend bringing extra towels. For a family of 4, the house was stocked with 4 bath towels, 2 bath clothes, and 1 hand towel and no dish towels, and a few beach towels. Not a big deal, but based on listing, expected there would be more and wished we had a few more.Would recommend this property for a relaxing, family vacation.
The stay was great, the kids loved the pool and the kayaks! My son was able to fish right off the dock! Ashleigh and the owner were super accommodating and we appreciate them a ton for making our trip great!
My family and I had a relaxing vacation here. The house is very clean and homey. The beds are comfortable and the kitchen is well-stocked. And the pool is wonderful! There are plenty of floats and pool toys. My kids has an absolute blast. We enjoyed eating on the patio, and we made s’mores over the fire pit.Ashleigh, the property manager, was quick to respond and very helpful when I had questions. We were all very happy with our stay! Thank you!

Stayed here for my birthday weekend with two girlfriends. Absolutely loved the pool! Thank you for such a beautiful home and being so kind and responsive.
Property is well maintained and in a great little neighborhood. Walking distance to many restaurants and bars. The kayaks were fun and the outdoor space was great with the pool. I recommend getting the pool heat turned on, water was frigid even with the sun out all day and temps at 80 degrees +. The local “Beach” area is not open to the public but Pine Island is a quick drive and has a great area on the beach.
The house made me feel right at home. Kid friendly and the pool was nice. Was a little sad to find the kayaks had broken seats. I spoke to the property manager about this and she said she would make a request to the owner to repair. Even though they are still usable I was hesitant to take my kids out without a back support. Besides that we had a great time. Eat at the Sunset Grill and Brian’s Place. Avoid Bayport Inn Restaurant.
Small property but it suited our needs. Tv s were a little hard to figure out (remotes and a loose cable). Other than that it was very good.
Loved the house. The pool was great and being right on the water with kayaks was awesome too. The kids really enjoyed it. The town is very small not a lot to do super close by. But we definitely enjoyed the quiet relaxing vacation. Tampa is only an house away there is great water park and theme park there
Peace of mind knowing that we were in a great neighborhood allowed us to enjoy our stay. Comfortable accommodations. Pool was nice to have all to ourselves. Kyacks were great to have access to use without the hassle of renting.

This is our first trip to Hernando Beach and we found the area perfect for a easy, quiet getaway. The house was stocked with a lot of helpful items and we enjoyed our stay so much it was hard to leave! Very clean, nicely updated and decorated, and lots of family fun.
