Perfect for my bachelorette getaway! River access was nice, and the house was very cute, clean, and well designed.
Our family of four females enjoyed staying at the middle cottage for the weekend. It’s a unique spot near the Applegate River! Right down the road from “red lily“ winery. We appreciated all that the hosts did for us: Good communication, showing us how to light the fireplace, stocking the fridge with a few groceries. There was an unfortunate situation in which the house that the owners also rent that’s just up the road hosted a giant party in the middle of the night. Alex took care of the situation and also compensated us.
The place was fine, however I was told that when finding the place it is the 'middle' cottage..there are several in one area, so there wasn't actually a middle cottage. The one we stayed in had a sign that said 'cozy' cottage. Well, if its cozy cottage, then just say that. The upstairs has exposed insulation, and a loose guard rail. Also the coffee provided expired 2 years ago. Other than that, it was ok
My husband and I absolutely loved this house and property and would 100% stay here again. Worth every penny, and a great location for the wedding we were attending. There were so many great touches that helped us feel at home. I loved the rocking chairs and the river access. I can’t say enough things about this place.
This house and cottage were perfect for our three generation family reunion. The house are clean and comfortable and welcoming, with comfortable beds and furniture. The deck on the house saw frequent use, from early morning coffees to late night stargazing, with most dining taking place there. Everyone enjoyed the surrounding woods. With all of the space it was our own private resort.
Location was fantastic.. very clean!
The cottage is more remote than we expected but that ended up being really nice. It is well outfitted and very cute/cozy - we loved our stay there.
A cute little place in a serene forested setting with a short trek to the Applegate River. There were other cabins on the property, but they are spread out so we never heard our neighbors. The inside of the cottage was very clean, nicely furnished, and had adequate cooking and dining supplies in the kitchen. Tasty breakfast options were provided and there were small bottles of milk available in the fridge (a rather nice touch actually.) Only possible tricky spot might be that the one bathroom is located in the downstairs master bedroom. Not a problem for us because it was just the two of us, but something to keep in mind if you're going to have guests staying in the loft.
