Cayman Brac, Cayman Islands
Plan your next vacation at Bliss Beach House. Bliss Beach House is our newly constructed, custom designed 1 bedroom waterfront home on an acre of land with 100 ft. of oceanfront located on a secluded south side east beach property with private pool. This beach house is very private, with no close neighbors. There is only one residence on our property, so you will not be sharing either the property or the pool with anyone else.
The house is on the island of Cayman Brac. Cayman Brac is one of 3 islands in the Cayman Islands. You can book your 40 minute flight from Grand Cayman through Cayman Airways, which has several flights each day to Cayman Brac. There are direct flights to Cayman Brac from a number of cities in the USA.
The house has been specifically designed for couples. It is just perfect for a honeymoon, a romantic gateway or if you just want to get away from it all.
We have unbelievable sunrises and sunsets too.
You can meander in the large newly planted organic garden where you can pick some herbs, exotic fruits and some vegetables (depending on the season).
The property has also been landscaped with many different species of Caribbean plants and trees.
The house is exquisitely decorated and there are views to the ocean from every room in the house, including the kitchen! The house is air conditioned.
Other Things to Note
There are about five feral cats that visit our property, as well as other nearby properties. They are friendly, especially if they think you might feed them (there is cat food in the laundry room). We encourage the cats to visit our property, as they keep the non-indigenous rodent population in check.

Loved the property, just as advertised. We are looking to come back in a couple of years.
Second time at this property and glad to see that everything is as it was on first stay.
Absolutely loved the house and surrounding palm trees and plants. This was everything wife and I expected for privacy, nice pool and constant sound of ocean waves. A great place to unwind and relax. Easy check in and great communication with owners. Highly recommend Bliss Beach house.
We enjoyed our stay at Bliss Beach House. The seclusion of the property was awesome! We loved spending time in the pool.
It was all that we hoped it would be! A very clean and well equipped home.
Everything wonderful! Could not have had a more perfect stay! This is not a 5 star property...it’s a 10.
Everything you may have already read about this property is true! This house is amazing! Pictures depict the house perfectly. Lots of french doors (5 total!) open out to the beautiful patio and pool and views out into the Caribbean. Inside the house is decorated beautifully with unique windows, modern furniture, and a well stocked kitchen. Ceiling fans keep a nice breeze blowing through the house, and smart lighting includes some nicely designed accent lighting. All the appliances are up to date, energy efficient, and great to use. Nice cabinetry throughout. While the bed had just a little sag (I'm a mattress snob), it was still comfortable and not bouncy at all. Outside the grounds were impeccable with lots of flowering bushes, coconut trees and other palms. Their fruit garden is just getting started, but it will eventually have some really nice results. The screened porch had some nice infinity chairs, and the covered patio, very nice outdoor furniture. The rest of the patio was well planned to utilize the space around the pool and vegetation, and to maximize the ocean views. The pool was excellent. Well engineered and just the right depth (5'). There were lots of amenities to use like bicycles, snorkel equipment, yoga gear, and pool floats. With no neighbors in either direction, we very much enjoyed the seclusion. The property manager was great to work with. He harvested some coconuts for us to eat/drink, and checked in with us once during the week. Communication with Don and Sylvie was always prompt and helpful. The documents they have prepared for guests were full of useful information. They even remembered we were celebrating a milestone birthday and anniversary. We are not divers so the Caribbean was a little lost on us (we couldn't really go into the water), but the hiking trails and caves were fun! Can I be critical of anything? The one AC unit was in the bedroom. While it kept that room cool, it didn't do much for the rest of the house. It wasn't too bad though with the 3 ceiling fans in the rest of the house. The technology gave us a couple of challenges too, but the benefit outweighed the trouble. Overall it was everything I had hoped/planned it would be.
My wife and I just returned from celebrating our 5 year anniversary on Cayman Brac at this beautiful new home located along the shoreline with no other neighbors around. We literally felt like we had our own island at times. The house was very clean and organized with helpful labels to remind you of the unique features in the home. The home is solar powered so in the summer months it will get warm in the house during the day since the air unit in the bedroom conserves energy in the daytime. But just step outside and relax in the shade by the pool and feel the ocean breeze, have a cool drink and you won't be bothered by the heat at all. One thing to note is look around in the kitchen and cabinets to see what supplies you already have plenty of before going to grocery store since the cost of goods is double/triple what is typical... island life (I believe there may be 3 bottles of honey in the cabinet by now). The guest information that Don and Sylvie provide contains all the information you'll need to have a great time doing whatever is on your agenda. The island is littered with really neat hikes, caves, and wildlife which we really enjoyed being in amongst. We saw 3 wild Brac Parrots on the property one day eating the sea grapes. Brown Booby and Frigate birds cruise the coast in front of the house and bats from the caves will clean up the mosquitos around the pool while you star gaze. Come prepared to rescue the crabs from the pool each morning as they tend to find their way in each night. Definitely get in the water to do some snorkeling or diving. Don and Sylvie did do some research on getting us a charter boat to go explore the waters of Little Cayman, but the charter company was booked for that week (plan ahead if you want to do something like that). We reserved a half day trip with Brac Scuba Shack and snorkled the Russian Frigate ship and some coral beds off of the Bight. It was beautiful and amazing that we could see straight to the bottom in 80 feet of water. Highly recommend a tour of the Le Soleil d'Or gardens if you enjoy local produce and gardening. They gave us a wonderful tour and provided us with a bag full of a sample of the days harvest. The local food is great if you like carribean style food. All in all it was a wonderful trip and exactly what we needed for our anniversary. The home has many things you need so bring your swimsuits and relaxing clothes and enjoy this beautiful home and island so few get to call home.
We just got back from twelve days at Bliss House and it is as advertised, a couples retreat/escape. In all of 20 plus years of renting houses on the beach/shore, this house is the most private / secluded we have ever stayed in. The house was stocked with adequate paper and toiletry items that are not usually furnished in house rentals. The pool and decking were always clean and the kitchen was more than adequate. The only issue we had was resolved while we were at dinner (within two hours). Can't say enough, you'd have to experience it to actually believe it!
