Southampton, New York
Amenities including a beautiful kitchen with new cabinets, granite countertops, and stainless appliances. Five bedrooms, two on the first floor sharing a bath, with queen size beds in both. A master bedrooms suite with en-suite bathroom on the second floor, and two additional bedrooms one with a queen-size bed, and the other with twin bunk beds. This is a beautiful Hampton style one family house with lots of windows allowing for plenty of sunlight. Ideal vacation retreat for a large family with plenty of space for children to sleep and play. Plenty of entertainment space with a very large patio surrounding the heated pool, including a fire pit and BBQ grills. An additional charge of $200/day is required for heating the pool.
Pictures on listing showed bunk beds in one of the rooms. Except for a king in the primary suite, all bedrooms had a queen bed. This may affect sleeping arrangements for those needing bunk beds or two separate beds in a room.
This is our second time staying at this property. The first time was perfect, and the second time was even better! Spacious, clean, well-located, and the host is highly responsive. No downsides to this property.
The property matches the photos given on VRBO. Communication with the owner was easy and fast via text or email. Ask how the TV's work there was a lack of communication so we had to spend some time figuring things out for nighttime watching of games and movies.
Rented this property for a family getaway. Our family really enjoyed staying here. The property was clean, , conveniently located, updated, and included many amenities. The owner Jean was prompt, accommodating and fulfilled all of our requests. We would definitely stay here away.
We stayed in the house for 5 nights in late June. The location is very good. Just 3-4 miles from Southampton centre. The house is clean, though made for renting only. You get the sense that it wasn’t constructed to please an owner who planned to stay there sometimes … just for renters and summer breakers. Thin walls, light doors, unfinished basement, perfunctory bedding. The kitchen and bathrooms were both clean with high quality fixtures. Spacious well lit commons rooms. Even a nice exercise bike upstairs. However, the pool area is tired, sad and unattractive. It doesn’t really look like the photo. I don’t know how many years old it is (a lot), but the pool tiling is faded. The pool area is under developed. You get the sense looking at the pools on either side of the property that the pool maintenance and development for this property is the exception compared with the other homes on the street. (No propane in the grill, also in need of an upgrade, was also an inconvenience.) In the end, the house served our needs, but at the price point paid, the pool area should have been nicer.
Relaxing week poolside in a spacious and clean home
Perfect place for a great family vacation!
Excellent host and excellent property! Had a few wonderful snow days made warmer by the incredible fireplace and Jean’s attentiveness. After a heavy snow fall, he scheduled a service to plow and salt the driveway - we didn’t have to worry about anything! Impeccable house with plenty of space and excellent wifi for 2 work from parents and one virtual learning child. Thank you Jean, my son can’t wait to come back and enjoy the pool!
Had a wonderful week in this house. Jean was readily available for any questions/issues. Excellent host.
