The house was very clean had everything we needed nice location would definitely stay again!
So very annoying is that I signed up for a house that would cost $125/ night, we stayed 2 nights and it cost me over $500. After I had already paid and received my email conformation, there was a little asterisk at the bottom that said there were be a $180 cleaning fee and an additional VRBO fee that wasn't in the original description. I was charged said 'cleaning fee' before I even got to the house. I pay $180 to my cleaning lady every 6 month for a deep clean, not a 2 night change the sheets and towels. While this is a super cute house and presents as clean; the floors were slick, especially the stairs. My mother fell and bruised 2 ribs. When we moved the couch to get to the outlet, we discovered spills that had not been cleaned. There was food left in the freezer, and the towel bars were missing from the 2 upstairs bathrooms, the wall were they should have been sloppily repaired. Will not be talking up the VRBO system, nor staying in this house again.
This home is great for a couple or family getaway nestled in the mountains. The home itself is exceptionally clean and welcoming. The property manager is communicative and thorough. I highly enjoyed my stay here. This isn't a complaint or con, only a side note. This home does not come with bath products (only 1 small eco size set of shampoo / soap in the bathrooms) or common complimentary kitchen items such as coffee. Do be prepared with your own personal care products and stop by the grocery store on your way.
Property is exactly as it’s listed! EVERYTHING WAS SUPER CLEAN! We loved having the hot tub after hiking♥️ The location was maximum 20 minutes away from all the sites and places we wanted to visit, it was easy to find every time we returned. We cooked several times and had all the essentials we needed. Beds were very comfy! Shana was incredible to see to any need we had, we will definitely book with her again!! Thanks so much for a great family vacation!!!
We enjoyed our stay for a weekend. The house was plenty big enough for just the two of us. It was nice and clean. The hot tub was great after hiking.
This place was great and had everything that you need. The hot tub was perfect on a cold January night. Very clean and nicely decorated. Would definitely stay here again.
My wife and I needed a getaway from the kids and a friend suggested we stay here. It was easy to get too, about 15 minutes from downtown Asheville and lots of stuff in-between! It has a functioning hot tub! Last place we stayed at it was down and we were bummed out. It’s also pretty much a new home so it’s extra clean & functional. My favorite part hilariously was all the kitchen utensils, generously sized plates and good coffee cups with a large handle was my wife’s favorite haha! It was thoughtful stuff not the tiny/worn stuff you sometimes have to work with. We have three small kids so we really used the place and wanted to have a trip were we didn’t do a lot. The management was easy to work with and access/instructions was a breeze. Highly recommend if you want a place that has all the right stuff and is situated perfectly between the city and the outskirts!
Good place for resting and visit- would have liked a bit more outdoor space and seclusion
Good overall- very clean! Small outdoor space, as very close to road
We had a wonderful stay and would recommend to others
