Great location for a guys trip to Breck. East walk to everything in town House was stocked with what we needed for cooking and hanging out.
Couple night in a comfortable well located home. Dog friendly and convenient to town
Amazing location and the home was fully stocked with everything you need. Made our stay super easy especially since we cooked every meal. Would 100y stay again.
This was a cute house that fit our group of 11 very well. We enjoyed the hot tub and grill right on the back deck. The proximity to Main Street and the gondola was so nice! This was our 4th time renting from RRR in Breckenridge, we love renting from RRR because of the excellent quality in homes, but we were a little disappointed with this home. When we arrived, there were several dishes that had caked on food and we noticed that over our week’s stay that the dishwasher did not clean well at all. The pans were old and scraped up with burnt marks. Only metal spatulas were stocked. There were candy wrappers under one of the beds upstairs. The shower curtain in the downstairs bathroom had mildew on it and different paint colors on the wall. We had to call on our first day there to fill up the hot tub (which was taken care of quickly) and we had to shovel the back deck ourselves on the first day as well as the sidewalk and driveway being very icy and dangerous. Our group had a fun time in Breckinridge!
Great location and property.
This is an amazing property. Everything you could possibly need was already there. I would highly recommend!
Management was accommodating when we asked to check in a little early. And the location is great. The back door was wide open, and the house smelled wet and musty. There was a large, muddy stain on the master bedspread, and the bedding in the bunk room was tussled. The muddy spot on the bed was in the shape of a large dog and came out after I washed it, so it could have been an easy fix. Maintenance came to change the fridge filter but only reset the light. While there, we mentioned that the dining chairs were caving in and basically unusable. He said he knew and that the owners wouldn't replace them. Then our young niece fell when the bunkbed steps tipped because they hadn't been attached. We were able to lean them to a severe, dangerous angle with one finger, so a child was defenseless. The steps should have been attached to ensure safety. Windows wouldn't close all the way. There was a sharp screw protruding from the side of a cabinet. The downstairs bath was embarrassing. The dishwasher tips. The range is falling apart. The jest on the hot tub were duds. The short term rental license is expired. There was trash in the yard, and the yard was a bunch of weeds. We asked management to drop in so we could discuss the house, but they would not. They called. She said they were very busy with 50 homes and that it’s “difficult to keep up with all of the things that need to be done.” Maybe 50 homes is too many; maybe this particular home is too dangerous? Regardless, safety should be a priority.
Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This 5 bedroom home with comfortable beds was ideal for our families (9 total). Loved being able to walk into town. The yard was minimal and pretty much ausauvage but that wasn’t a critical factor. The decks/porches/balconies were small and could use a little love (would have benefited from larger deck where hot tub/grill was. Dishwasher was underwhelming in cleaning ability, but with 9 of us we found the kitchen more than adequate. Clean, comfortable and we’d come again in a heart beat.
Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house was very well kept and extremely comfortable. Easy access to Main Street and trails. A good kitchen for cooking. It was also very quiet even though it was on French Street
We loved the location and the home! Fortunately Summit Cty just flipped to Orange before our stay but our hosts kept us in the loop about the various COVID19 precautions/changes. Apres on French was spacious with lots of space to lounge and a great kitchen with just about any appliance that one might need - food processor, Keurig, drip coffee, all sorts of pots and pans, cutlery, etc. We enjoy cooking in and brought most staples, but all the various bars/restaurants/shops are a short walk away on Main St and Ridge St. There is a bus stop nearby (masks required for now) and the gondola station is also just a short walk (easier for boarders but manageable in ski boots too). The City Market, package store and equipment rental are equidistant, opposite the gondola parking lot. We enjoyed the private hot tub. The electronics setup was great as our hosts provided access to Netflix, Amazon Prime and other streaming services via Roku in both living spaces as well as the various bedrooms.
The house is great. Amenities are great. Location is great. It was the perfect fit for my friends and I. (A few married couples and some kids). However, on check out day, 4 of the adults on the trip woke up vomiting and diarrhea. The rest of us packed up the house and cleaned, hoping that by check out time, 10 am, people would feel well enough to make the 2hr drive back to Denver. I called the help line and begged for an additional hour to let my wife and friends stomach settle. The response I got was cold and callous. She didn’t even call the cleaning group to see what time they actually planned on showing up to the house, or to see if they could move things around. Apparently, they needed a full 6 hours to clean the house. We left right at 10 in order to fulfill our obligations and were fortunate enough to only throw up once in the car on the way back. So, in summary, the house is great! But if you are having a crisis, they will throw you out. And they won’t lift a finger to help you.
We love Breck any time of the year so I would definitely stay at this property again! It was such an easy walk to Main Street’s shops and very close to the grocery store. The cabin comfortably slept our whole group and the hot tub was in great condition! It was the perfect snowy cabin for a mountain getaway!
