Savannah, Georgia
Summary:
This beloved family home, a 3 bedroom, 3 bathroom Victorian just half a block from Forsyth Park, dates all the way back to the turn of the 20th century. This is revealed by its double porches, gorgeous original hardwood floors, high ceilings, pronounced trim and unique fireplaces. When you walk in, you are immediately hit by a wave of elegance and grandiosity that will have you head over heels.

The Space:
Covered from head to toe in original artwork, much of which is actually produced by the owner and her family, you will feel as though you’re strolling through a private art gallery. Just pour a Merlot, and let your curiosity and imagination run wild as you admire all the little details. The living room is the perfect place to relax and entertain your guests with plenty of comfy seating, a smart TV and lots of coffee table space to gather ‘round and play some cards. Settle in to the azure blue Chatsworth Room, the owner’s interpretation of an English “snug”, for an evening of conversation and cocktails beneath the soothing glow of pierced metal lanterns. Let the conversation spill into the open dining room and kitchen as you enjoy the large formal dining table surrounded by authentic Louis Ghost Chairs, or perch on a stool at the spacious, Carrara marble bar. The sleek kitchen is an entertainer’s dream, with ample counter space and everything you need to show off your culinary and mixology skills to the group as you whip up some hand-crafted nibbles and drinks before heading out for the night. After all the fun, head upstairs to one of the three exceedingly comfortable bedrooms. Blissfully unwind in the delightful master suite, where you’ll find a sumptuous king bed, and an extravagant marble bathroom with both a rain shower and a soaking tub. The second bedroom, a sublimely bright and cheerful room, has a diamond-tufted king bed and shares a hall bath with the third bedroom, an enchanting room with another, wonderfully cozy king bed. Each bedroom has floor to ceiling boutique closets, so if you like to have plenty of outfit choices for the day, we’ve got you covered.
Guest Access:
You have this stunning home all to yourself! You may access the front porch, upper balcony and rear courtyard at your leisure. We do want to reiterate that this is a residential neighborhood and "quiet hours" are from 9pm - 8am. If you're having that late-night cocktail outside, we just ask that you keep to a reasonable volume and head in if you're hit with that sudden interest to sing karaoke! :) Parking is free on the street. Please just be sure to read signs before parking overnight as there are street sweepers that come twice a week.
The Neighborhood:
Being just a 1 minute walk to Forsyth Park, you really can't beat this location. It's plenty quiet enough at night to get a good night's sleep, yet close enough to everything that Savannah has to offer. Enjoy a quick stroll through the park and check out the Farmer's Market on Saturday mornings from 9-12. We're just a few blocks away from some of the best local restaurants and shops in town. Local 11ten, Betty Bombers, Sentient Bean, Black Rabbit and Cuban Window Cafe are all less than a ten minute walk from the house. Check out our favorite natural food store, Brighter Day, just at the top of the park where you can pick up all of your groceries for the week. We're roughly a mile from City Market, River Street and Bay Street, where all of the action is!
Getting Around:
Aside from being able to walk everywhere, we have a FREE trolley bus that takes you up and down the historic district called the DOT shuttle. There's a pickup stop just two blocks away. Another FREE option is The Downtowner, which is essentially a Savannah-run "uber" that runs 10am-midnight 7 days a week. Of course, Uber/Lyft is always a good option to pop around downtown especially late at night, when some of the other options are limited.
Other Things to Note:
This is a residential neighborhood and we have great relationships with out neighbors, so beg of you to be respectful with your noise levels especially late at night. The City's noise ordinance is from 9pm-8am so if you do plan on having a few extra cocktails on the porch, we just ask that you use your inside voices :)
Interaction with Guests:
We are available via phone Monday-Friday 9am-9pm and Saturday & Sunday from 10am-7pm. If you have an emergency, please call 911.
We had 6 ladies ranging in age from 35-85 for a quick weekend getaway. We loved the house! We had such fun walking from room to room and discussing the decor. Very accurate description. House was very comfortable, beds comfortable as well. We walked to Forsyth Park and enjoyed the Saturday AM famers market. The neighborhood was simply fascinating to us being surrounded by such classic older homes. Would definitely stay again.
Our stay was perfect for 3 couples. The house was conveniently located in quiet neighborhood. We loved and used the 2 covered porches in morning and evening. Plenty of space for all of us. It was a well stocked kitchen and the decor is definitely an “artist retreat”. Would stay here again.
Fabulous house, fabulous location. Would definitely stay again!
Everything was great; beautiful home with great art; impressive & clever interior design. The full bath downstairs was very helpful, as we had three couples prepping for wedding events, in a rush of course. I only wish we had more time to spend in the house! Thank you!
Perfect
The house was exactly as pictured and described in the listing. Its located one street over from Forsythe Park, so very convenient for enjoying the park. A short walk to the riverfront and all the restaurants, shopping and activities. Chase was very responsive to our quesions before and during our stay. Would stay at this property again!
Beautiful old home in a nice, convenient location. Very clean, comfortable and well appointed. Kitchen well stocked.
I have travelled all over the United States with my dear friends from afar and have never felt so comfortable, safe and pampered as we were at this listing. Spending time with dear friends in a beautiful home made our trip to Savannah the very best. Thank you to the property management and owners(s)
This house was amazing. Great location and beautiful inside and out. Would highly recommend to anyone.
We loved staying in this beautiful house. It was a very short walk to the park, a 15 - 20 minute walk to a lot of stores and restaurants, and 30 minutes to the river. Great place for a weekend stay or even longer!
We invited our 4 children from Michigan, Texas and Colorado to join us for our trip and this was the perfect place. It was a beautifully restored southern home with plenty of space for gathering after the days’ events for cards and games. The pictures are exactly how the house looks (even bigger) and the management team of Chase and Brandon were fantastic! I would definitely recommend this house.
This was the perfect property for three friends to gather for a long weekend although it would also be great to host more people. The property was exactly as advertised. It is unique, beautifully decorated, exceptionally clean and extremely comfortable. All three beds were crazy comfortable as were the living room sofa and chairs, great quality linens, the kitchen was well equipped with lots of flatware and dishes, a hot water pot, Keurig coffee maker, and even some coffee and tea to get you started. Both verandas were comfortable and quiet. The location of the property is great. It’s on a very quiet residential street yet close to everything you need including a Kroger grocery store, the dot, several restaurants and Forsyth Park. We used Uber several times at a cost of about $8 to the riverfront and around $30 to the airport. Booking and check in/check out was seamless. Management checked in several times to make sure that we were happy and to inquire if we needed anything. This is such a beautiful property, I can’t imagine having a better location or a more comfortable stay! I would highly recommend it!
We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful home in April, 2022! We are three couples, friends of 45+ years in our late sixties, early seventies. The home was so perfect! We tossed a coin to see who got ‘the presidential suite’. ? The front porch was great! We had coffee in the a.m., a cocktail before going to dinner and a glass of wine post dinner. If the weather had not been perfect, the living room would have been a perfect gathering spot. The artistic flare throughout the home was a treat. We really had everything we needed. The location was perfect for everything we had scheduled. Thank you for an awesome stay in Savannah!
