Was a perfect place to stay and ride trails all weekend!
Another great stay at the Courtney cox cottage. Great host, very accommodating and great communication. Location of house is in a great location to ride Tackett and royal blue. Great parking for trucks and trailers. Will be back again!!!
We travel to the area at least once a year and the house is located conveniently to ride sxs, but thats the only positive. This was the worst vrbo i have stayed in. The deck is dangerous to walk on it is so rotted. The dishwasher is just slid into a space that is 6 too big under the counter and is not attached to the counter at all, every time you open the door it tips over. The cabinets were missing hardware and were greasy and dirty inside. The bedrooms downstairs were full of spiders and webs. The lower level bathroom had a broken sink laying on the floor, the toilet appeared to be used months ago without water. The shower heads are so low you have kneel down to wash your hair. Very outdated and strangly decorated.
close to trail heads for tackett and sundquist unit. quiet neighborhood
We really enjoyed our stay. The location of the house is perfectly situated between Tackett creek and royal blue trails with no trailering required. House was spacious and clean and had a large parking area for trucks and trailers. Host was very accommodating with our early arrival and answered every question promptly. We will definitely be back.
I had to call the owner/ well property manager to get access 1 hour before arrival. I had requested early check-in from the owner but was told by the property manager I could not once I was already there. The property was clean. The beds were very comfortable. The house looked like it was to be renovated but never done. There were white drywall patches all over the walls. TV had only a few channels. Advertised a charcoal grill and a BBQ grill- could NOT use either. Charcoal grill was old and looked as though it would fall over the minute you tried to use it. As for the BBQ gas grill - only after arrival and having to call to gain access we were told that if you wanted to use the BBQ grill you have to bring your OWN propane tank!!!??? The BBQ grill was so old that when you opened the lid you could see straight through to the porch! The train that they say you can't hear will wake you up between 3 AM and 4 AM every morning. The downstairs bathroom is still not working. You have 2 bathrooms upstairs but one of them are in a bedroom, so you have to disturb whoever is sleeping in there. If you are just wanting a place to rest while riding the trails this place will work. If you are looking for more, you will be disappointed. The house has lots of potential but seems like the owner being out of state doesn't want to invest anything in it. And if you are coming up Hwy 25 from LaFollette and your GPS system tells you to turn right on Justice Lane (that looks like a driveway) DON'T DO IT!! It is a dead end and very, very difficult to back out of. Go to the next road and take a right, quick left and house will be past two condemned houses on right.
