Richmond Hill, Georgia
Tuck yourself into history in this historic cottage we call “Pink Door.” The auto magnate, Henry Ford, built a mansion in Richmond Hill in the 1940s and developed neighborhoods in the area for workers in various industries he had set up here.
Pink Door lies in a quiet, safe neighborhood. The shopping & dining of Richmond Hill are located minutes away. Downtown Savannah and Savannah-Hilton International Airport are about 30 minutes away, and it’s an hour’s drive to the beach at Tybee Island.
The first thing you’ll notice about this home is the porch swing–then the pink door. Ours is a quiet neighborhood, and the neighbors are charming.
The cottage has 3 bedrooms: two rooms with queen-sized beds, and 1 bedroom with 2 twins. The home sleeps a total of six guests and is a nice place for two families to meet.
Pets are welcome–with some restrictions, see below. There is no fenced-in area outside, so owners will need to secure their pets. Richmond Hill has a nice array of parks with opportunities for both humans and pets to exercise.
The large kitchen has the amenities of home and is stocked with a temporary supply of necessities. A washer and dryer is available.
Parking for four vehicles in the driveway next to the house.
Lockbox for self check-in.
This home rents for 30 nights or more.
For stays of 38 nights or more, we are able to split your payments into multiple payments so that you do not have to pay for the entire amount upfront. Please contact us for more information on this.

I was pretty upset by the guy and dog in the house when I got there. I am a woman traveling alone with my two dogs and the fact that the key code wasn’t changed and a previous visitor could just open the door while I’m sleeping is disheartening to say the least. He had eaten dinner and fed his dog and stuff before I got there. Said he didn’t touch towels or bedding but still disturbing esp with pandemic recently ending. The television also did not work. Also upon return to the cottage one day, there was another truck in the driveway with a guy in the yard regarding the tree on the roof of the garage.
