Came to the area for a family reunion with our group of 16. This was the perfect choice. Each family had a cabin and we met in the “lodge” for meals and restroom/showers. Pool was right across from the kingfisher cabin and the lake behind us. We called to rent the canoes and kayaks and they brought them quickly to our cabin. So much fun for our family ages 2 to 61. Plenty of towels and kitchen equipment to use. Thank you!!
We had a great time at the Kingfisher Cabin. We had a basketball team of young boys stay for the tournament at Lakepoint and we had a blast!

This property was perfect to accommodate the large size of our college group of students for alternative break trips. This was a great disconnect from the hustle and bustle of the city to ensure the value of simplicity and warmth throughout our trip. What a fantastic stay!
It was beautiful and perfect for our family. We loved the lake and the cabins were fun. We were able to get 30 of us together and enjoy the outdoors. We went kayaking and canoeing. The property manager was so accommodating. The kids all want to go again!
We've stayed here multiple times with large groups and it never dissapoints. Great access to lake and during summer the pool is fantastic (and huge). The management team is very accommodating and quick to respond. We absolutely love it and will continue to come back.
Wonderful atmosphere for family reunion enough space for outdoor activities to entertain kids, campfires kayaks, outdoor movies nite. Only thing WIFI listed should be more specific NO WIFI available.
Our large group of family and friends spent the July 4th weekend in the Kingfisher cabins at Pine Acres Retreat and a wonderful time was had by all! We swam in the lake and pool, enjoyed kayaking, hiking, grilling and eating!! The group is already talking about a return visit!!
This property works great for a large groups
Loved our stay, place was spacious, and it was very clean. The only thing that was inconvenient was the mixed bathrooms.
This place is so perfect for large families, large groups or special bonding events like couples weekend, family reunions or team building. We enjoyed the environment and view! Everything we needed was provided, making the experiment so AMAZING! Our family will return!
My family of 22 stayed for Thanksgiving. The accommodations were great, communication with property manager was great! It was a beautiful place with peaceful surroundings! Highly recommend!
Great place! Perfect for large groups
We had a great weekend visit! So much to do with the lake, kayaks, fishing, huge pool and fire pit. All ages enjoyed the property and everything it had to offer. The property manager was very helpful, responsive and so friendly. We would definitely come back!

Check in got off to a rough start due to no communication from property owner regarding gate code,but was finally met and escorted to our rental. We arrived the day after 4th of July, a busy weekend for them, and the lodge could have been cleaner. We managed a quick 25 minute clean up. We are prior military, but not clean freaks. No wifi as advertised, no washer and dryer as pictured. Constructive criticism only. We still had a great time. Pool, fishing, kayaking, staying up late watching movies, smores, etc...
The kingfisher cabins has a large, comfortable meeting space with a full kitchen and separate sleeping cabins. We had all our family conversation, meals, and fun at kingfisher overlooking the lake. The pool is so big and clean, too! This set up easily fit our large group of 40 and we can't wait to come back!
This was perfect for a large family vacation. Kim and Ellen were so helpful in answering questions and helping us get everything we needed for an amazing stay.
The location and staff were top notch. The property is very nice for a camp setting as well. However, the kayaks are not complimentary as the post describes. After arriving they told us that only the first five were free. The money isnt the issue but the lack of transparency is. Hopefully they update their post soon. It can also be very difficult to get ahold of management at times so come prepared and communicate before you need something to give them a half day or so to respond. All that being said, the place is great and the whole family(25 of us) loved it.
