My friends came to town for my daughter’s bridal shower and the property was perfect. Everyone had a bed and with two bathrooms and five women we were all impressed we never ran out of hot water. Quiet neighborhood, less than a mile from Canton Street. We spent Sunday eating and touring the town. We would totally stay here again.
Great home and Jeffery is the perfect host!
Property was clean. Jeff responded to any questions we had. Thanks!
I think the best part about this rental is the manager Jeff, he was always in touch and very helpful. Plenty of room for a family along with a spacious front and back yard. We really appreciate him allowing pets it made our stay less stressful than a hotel. A short drive from Roswell we enjoyed many restaurants and got a good feel for North Georgia in general. We would definitely stay again!
This was a great place to stay. We were visiting Roswell for my son's wedding. The house was very comfortable especially the beds, however it was not as kid friendly as I had hoped. We were coming from California. There was a large backyard with unsafe equipment in the back forest, not any toys except for a basketball hoop. One suggestion for families would be a port a crib for babies and small children, board games, books for children. We had to borrow a crib from a resident. Would have also appreciated the use of a washer and dryer. Overall it was a very nice house.
Older ranch with nicely updated kitchen and baths, and very comfortable beds. Great location, perfect for traveling with pets, and great outdoor space. We were very comfortable and enjoyed our stay! As a note- the TVs are Roku and I'm not all that familiar with that, but just as a heads up, there's no regular cable or satellite TV here. We got by with signing in to Netflix and using CBS online, but if that is really important to you, just plan accordingly. I would definitely stay here again. The proximity to the quaint downtown area cannot be beat.
A lovely warm, cozy home. We enjoyed our stay. Very quiet and peaceful neighborhood. Home was very clean and comfortable. Look forward to renting again when we come back to Roswell.
Coordinated this VRBO for some friends during my wedding weekend in Roswell. It was very conveniently located to downtown Roswell. Overall a good experience.
Owner was responsive, house was spacious and clean, and perfect for our family trip to Roswell / Alpharetta area. Great location near historic Roswell district with lots of restaurants and shops (Table & Main is our favorite), and short commute to Alpharetta. Basketball hoop and large yard kept the kids outside much of the time. Great experience.
We have 3 dogs and it is difficult to find anywhere suitable to stay. This house was perfect. It was fenced on 3 sides so we never let them just run on their own, but then we would'nt anyway. The house was charming, and the owner answered all of our questions very promptly. We will definately stay here again! 5 stars!
Very disappointing stay. The moment we drove up we took photos of a yard that was recently driven all over with tire tracks and dirt everywhere. The garbage dispensers were full to the top. The backyard was very messy as well. Broken seated swing chair, piles of disgarded wood, fencing. I specifically asked owner 3 times if the house was fenced( he did allow dogs), and each time I was told it was three quarter fenced. Fenced in the back, not in the front. Totally different meaning of three quartered fenced. Broken chain link on the left and back, and a neighbor ‘s dividing fence that was decorative only. No gate, couldn’t allow dogs out at all. Inside was dark and very dated. Dining room chair backs were broken. It was a well supplied kitchen and the master bed was comfortable. Had difficulty with keyless entry but there is a backup hide a key. At first owner was responsive to the concerns we faced, but, as the list grew he stopped responding. We left early.
The home is located on a quiet street in the heart of Roswell. The beds were comfortable. The home was very clean. The yard is a nice size for playing games and there was a nice basketball goal. The firepit was nice though it was way too hot to try it out! There was a nice covered carport for outside space with a ceiling fan (which was warped and very noisy) and plenty of seating. The dining table was huge and should accomodate lots of people. There is every type of bar glass imaginable. There is a bonus sitting area in the basement. Overall, it was a great week. However there were a few things that need correction. The shrubbery in front of the house at the end of the driveway are very overgrown, making it difficult to safely pull out. The grill needs major work. Luckily i grilled hot dogs before i bought the planned steaks. Despite buying a new bottle of propane, nothing was going to cook well as the burners need replaced. Very little flames came out even on high. It took an hour to cook hot dogs! The ice maker did not work and the handle to the refrigerator is gone. The air conditioning was insufficient. Luckily a couple window A/C supplemented the bedrooms well but the kitchen stayed hot. I could not get it below 85. The pots and pans need replaced. They have the old teflon coating that is very scratched up and peeling due to the lack of silicone cooking utensils. No one expects everything to match but i would get stainless steel as a more durable and healthier option. You can get nice ones at Marshals and TJ Maxx. Some hand towels for the bathrooms are needed...they all had holes in them. It looks like the rail for the basement steps is there ready to be installed. They are steep steps ans it would help if it were put up.
This is a wonderful home with a beautiful yard located in a very nice and safe community. Jeff was very pleasant and accommodating with our needs. I would definitely recommend this home if you are visiting the Atlanta area.
We stayed in Roswell for a family wedding and the house worked very well for our large group - my husband and me, 3 (adult) children, son's fiance, and my husband's mother. Though there was an initial snag when Jeff forgot that we were arriving, he worked quickly to get the house in shape for us. Ultimately, we were only delayed by an hour or so and the house was very clean and organized when we arrived. The house has great gathering spaces - a comfortable living room, large dining room table, convenient breakfast table, and wonderful outdoor "living room." The kitchen was well appointed with everything we needed for our stay. All in all, a perfect house for our very special family gathering!
Our family very much enjoyed staying together in this very nice and comfortable house near our relatives in Roswell and Woodstock, where we had a wonderful Thanksgiving family reunion. The house had everything we needed, a beautiful backyard for our oldest daughter's two dogs to run around, a great neighborhood and within walking distance to Historic Roswell with its great restaurants and shops. One of her dogs has cancer and she did not want to leave him behind, so we were very appreciative that they were allowed in the house. This is our second experience renting a house instead of staying in a hotel and we are now converts....this is the way to go! We will definitely rent this house again next time we visit Atlanta. Thank you, Jeff!
Lots of space!
House was perfect for our daughter's wedding weekend and close to the venue. Spacious inside, beautiful yard and covered patio outside. Excellent location to downtown Canton St for great restaurants and shopping. Parking can be an issue, and it's just a short walk away. Easy travel to shopping for grocery and more. It had everything we needed, but if you're there for an extended stay, the laundry facilities on site were not available to us. Would definitely stay again if the need arises, and recommend to friends.
We had our family in town for our daughter's wedding in downtown Roswell and it was the perfect house for hosting out of town guests and family members. We enjoyed the large living room for relaxing and the spacious kitchen for hosting breakfast and dinners for everyone. The house had plenty of bedrooms and was super close to all the great restaurants and shops in Roswell. Great house for the family and/or groups of friends!
We stayed at this house for 9 days for a wedding we were attending and to spend Thanksgiving with family. The house was perfectly located, and at the time that was my main priority. The kitchen was generously stocked and the house itself was very comfortable. There was a problem with the internet which had nothing to do with the house, but something to do with the internet company. The owner was very quick to respond and was very helpful. The company who provided the internet connection came out that day and fixed it and we were up and running. I would highly recommend this house to my friends and family, and I would definitely stay there again. The location was close to historic Roswell which we enjoyed very much. There are lots of really fun places to eat and shop just down the street. There also is a park just down the street that has really great walking paths, along with lots of other outdoor activities.
Great home away from home for our daughter's wedding in Roswell! Would recommend for anyone needing a space for extended family or larger family.
Very nice, especially if you have extra guests come over and visit. Really loved the outdoor sitting areas. The neighborhood seemed nice and quiet.
This property was PERFECT!! Myself, and 2 other families rented it for a week. Very clean, very spacious, we bought groceries and ate breakfast and dinner in. Everything we needed was on hand. Although myself I would never LIVE in GA if I come back next year for baseball I will definitely be calling the owner to rent!! Thanks again Jeff.
Great updated property. Not far from it all (20-30 minutes to most attractions). Nice Neighbors. Fun Yard with baseketball hoop, fire pit, and covered seating. Worked well for our family of 6. Thanks again Jeff.
Our family came for the graduation of our daughter and the house was exactly what we were hoping for. Very well kept, and relaxing. Nice quiet neighborhood. Loved the outdoor seating area and the grill was a wonderful feature. Close to the Roswell shops and dining. Would highly recommend this house.
The property was amazing! The rooms, livingroom family room, yard was perfect for my family and also having my family visit as well. I would deff recommend this place to everyone and will rebook when visiting my sister again.
House and yard was great. We had a relaxed visit along with our son's wedding
This was a nice home that worked perfectly for us. We had family in the area so this was perfectly located to our other family members. The home was comfortable and met our needs. There is a large yard for the kids to play! Thank you!
We rented this home as we were attending a wedding in Roswell. It is spacious and the grounds are nice. All except one of the beds were uncomfortable to sleep on though and there are several doors that need some attention as they don't shut properly. One of the TV's didn't work well either and there aren't many amenities to speak of (no washer/dryer, no hair dryer. no outside grill). Overall, if you are just looking for a basic home in a nice area and for a good price, this home fits that mold.
This home was perfect for our group. We traveled to Atlanta for a conference, and had six of us, and we were very comfortable. The owner was available by phone or email, so we were able to add a day and ask a couple questions after we got there, which was very helpful. The king bed in the master bedroom was super comfortable, as were the common areas. We were able to hold meetings in both the front room and the outside veranda area. The house was all on one level, with nice open concept. We loved it.
My family of 7 stayed here in early December. We are relocating to the area and were searching for homes. The house was perfect for us. Plenty of space, very comfortable, and the location was great! We walked down for dinner to Canton St...went the local parks...and just enjoyed the peace and quiet out on the covered porch. Jeff, the owner, was very friendly and accommodating. I would highly recommend the property to anyone looking for a quiet getaway close to all the attractions in Roswell!
We rented this house for my daughter's wedding weekend and had 8 staying and other family coming to visit. It was very comfortable inside with plenty of towels, comfortable beds, and the kitchen was well stocked with cooking gear. It has a large front and back yard thats great for yard games, and a very nice outside sitting area with roof overhead and fan where we spent time in the evenings. Lots of room for parking too. We'll consider staying again.
Great place for families to stay, nice sized bedrooms and lots of TVs, if that's your thing. Appreciated the AC and ceiling fans. Home is a little on the older side and probably needs some renovations and updating, but it was comfortable and met all of the needs for our 7-person family stay. Jeff was very helpful when I had questions.
I had a great stay at this home in Roswell. A minute from the Historic Strip, it was the perfect location for a fun vacation. I brought my 3 kids (5,3 and 2) and they loved the bedroom arrangement, large family space, picnic like kitchen seating and large backyard. We invited family over one evening and used the kitchen and formal dining area for a large family dinner. Jeff was great to work with and we will absolutely be staying again during our next trip to Atlanta.
This house is what we wanted for my family of five for our week-long visit. It's not super-fancy, but it is definitely large enough and well-stocked with towels, hangars, and kitchen utensils, pots, and pans. The manager was easy to work with regarding getting into the house initially. I had a question during my stay, and the manager responded very quickly by email.
We rented this 4-bedroom home for my immediate family as well as my parents and in-laws for the Roswell High School graduation weekend. The home is well appointed with everything you would need for a comfy stay. The weather was awesome and we spent a lot of time in the yard and furnished carport area. On one evening, we ordered Champions BBQ (Shallowford Road) and invited a few friends over for dinner. Between the outdoor seating and large dining and living rooms areas, we easily accommodated everyone. Parking is plentiful and we were thrilled that we never ran out of hot water. Renting this home was far better than any hotel we could have booked in the area since it gave us so much room to spread out and enjoy each other's company. The location is in the heart of Roswell, very close to Canton Street and the awesome restaurants as well as Roswell Park. We will rent this home again when we return to visit friends and family.
This is the Second time my family has stayed at this property. We love the fact that it is outfitted perfectly for large family.. The beds are comfortable and kitchen has everything you would need. The yard is large and private. I would highly recommend this property to anyone!
We rented this house for my niece's wedding. The good: The house itself was fine - kitchen was nice for our cooking needs, we used the outside sitting area a lot. The beds were comfortable (although one of the twin beds had the box spring and mattress sitting inside the bed-frame on the floor) The bad: After my initial booking, I added a day to the front of my trip via a phone call. Unfortunately, the owner failed to alter the calendar on vrbo, and the property was double booked. When we arrived and opened the lockbox, there was no key in it. Finally - it took a full month, and two separate checks to get a refund for the double booked night. The owner did not seem concerned with the issues we had. Suffice it to say I would not consider staying here again.
This was a great place for us to stay! We spent time outside on the patio and enjoyed being able to cook / snack and everything we needed right there. A great place for our family from out of town to stay and spend time together. The rooms were comfortable and well appointed. Could have used more washcloths and a more prominent 'trash day' sign, but other than that, we really enjoyed our stay. Try the Fickle Pickle while you are there - excellent lunch and close by! We appreciated the large size of the living spaces to spread out and feel more at home during our stay. We would recommend this for anyone travelling with a larger group. Much more personable than a hotel room - and the coffee was better in the mornings! ;) Will look at this place first when travelling to Roswell again.
The grounds tuly are beautiful and spacious. The owner is very responsive and patient, I needed some help as this was my first experience as the primary renter and the owner walked me through everything.
Generally this property came as advertised. The location was good, plenty of room inside and outside, neighbor hood was quiet and property was private. We especially liked the dining/living area. It provided a spacious area for the 6 of us to visit and socialize. Historic downtown Roswell with many restaurants and shops was nearby. The bathrooms were clean and spacious. The only drawbacks we experienced were determining which keys fit which doors as only one was marked. Same with the TV remotes. They were all together with only 1 marked for a particular TV. We did figure which was which. Also, the spider webs that hung from the ceiling fan and in the corners and ceiling of the particular bedroom I was in was an indication that this particular room had not been cleaned very well. Overall, with our particular needs I would consider this property when renting in the area again.
Close to Roswell locations, nice neighborhood, quiet, big yard, nice kitchen for our needs. Good flow to the layout. Would recommend!
The property was just as advertised and more! The six of us were very comfortable there . We enjoyed having a fire pit and a grill for our cooking and relaxation . The beds and living room furniture were extremely comfortable . We found the surrounding neighborhood to be full of beautiful homes, really neat places to eat, and overall a very safe and pleasurable place to visit . I would definitely stay there again and recommend to anyone!
Thank you for sharing your home with us Christmas 2015
Great place to stay near Historic Roswell. We had 6 people, were comfortable and had plenty of space. Nice owner interaction as well.
