Beautiful spacious home, loved the hot tub and what a fantastic location for exploring Burlington. Will definitely be staying here again.
This house was great! Owner was very friendly and helpful and house was supplied with the little things you need. Fantastic location! Loved the front porch and the hot tub 😃
Excellent property...loved the cozy front porch. Tricia was very accommodating!!!
This house was lovely to stay in. It had everything we needed, was very comfortable, and was in a perfect location; we were able to walk everywhere we wanted.
My husband and I have rented from Tricia at least 5 times now (possibly more) for our yearly trip to Burlington for my husband’s birthday. The location is perfect for walking access to downtown food and shopping. The house itself is clean and comfortable. We enjoy the fireplace after a brisk fall day walking around. We will keep renting here as long as Tricia will let us!
My friends and I had a great mini vacation here. If you are not familiar with the area, this is an amazing location and a 5-10 min walk to all the restaurants downtown. House was great. Plenty of room and a great front porch. Gas grill and hot tub were a great touch. Zero complaints. 10/10
Very nice house. Great location.
The house was lovely With snow and single digit temperatures outside, we were warm and cozy in the living room with the gas fireplace and comfortable couches The cold weather came with bright sunshine and crisp blue skies. Outings included walk on campus, in town and a stunning visit to the quarries on Isle la Motte to see the Chazy Reef - which I highly recommend.
This was the fourth time we’ve stayed at this property and each year Tricia has made improvements. The house is always clean and is the perfect size for a couple of couples or a family. Walking distance to downtown is an extra perk
Very good experience. Everything was as advertised. We had a great week with our two kids (2 and 6). House is older so outlets are limited in the bedrooms - you may want to bring two-prong extension chords if you want to plug in a couple of things by the bed and also have a lamp.
Our family of four had a great time in Burlington and the house was very comfortable and truly a home away from home. It was convenient to walk to downtown Burlington and the UVM campus and was within 30 minutes to Bolton Valley Skiing. I would definitely recommend this home to anyone visiting Burlington, VT.
Think I said it all in the first box! We were thrilled that this house was perfect for us!
Charming house within walking distance of UVM and downtown Burlington, including the Church St market. Highly recommend.
We enjoyed the house very much. It was a great location – only four blocks to downtown (to a theater, grocery store, to all the shops/restaurants on Marketplace and to all the activities on Lake Champlain). It was clean with everything we needed in terms of linens, kitchen supplies and cleaning/laundry supplies. Soap wasn’t provided in the shower, so bring some. Parking was convenient, located behind the house. I came with my 12-year old son. He liked that there was a small yard in the back to play catch in. The house sits on a busy, well-trafficked street, so if you are like me you won’t sleep with the windows open which was too bad given the beautiful weather in the summer evenings. You will be living in the heart of college students as Champlain College is all around you. We were there in the summer, so it was totally fine. There weren’t loud parties or anything. Overall, this house was perfect for our needs!
We enjoyed our stay at this property with 3 adults and 2 children. The location between the UVM campus and downtown Burlington was convenient. Our visit was unseasonably cool but the home was cozy. Our umbrella broke during the trip so it would have been nice to have a back up at the house (if there was one I wasn't able to locate it ;-). A washer and dryer were on property which we used because my kids are magnets for food messes! I only noted that the washer had dirt and debris in it that required an empty prewash. Perhaps some floor mats were washed the cycle before. All in all a good visit to Burlington at a comfortable home!
Our short stay in Burlington was excellent, and this house is perfect. The home is clean, beautifully furnished, roomy, comfortable, and has everything you need. We relaxed on the front porch at night. The location is walking distance to everywhere we wanted to go. We loved American Flatbread, and Skinny Pancake. Tricia was wonderful to work with, excellent communication. We would love to go again in the future, and recommend this house to anyone planning to go to the Burlington area! Thank you very much!!
Located within a walking distance of everything downtown Burlington has to offer, this house is a great pick. The place was spotlessly clean and the owner really accommodating. We will certainly try to rent it again on our next visit to Burlington.
Located right in the middle of Burlington between UVM and downtown. Great house with a gas fireplace!!
We made last minute plans to got to Burlington for a long weekend and there was no room in any of the in-town hotels. I noticed this house with a great location and excellent reviews so ... why not? The house was perfect. The location was close to Church Street and the center of town, so all we needed to do each day was roll out of bed and walk down hill into town. We were close to Penny Cluse (great breakfast!) and several other restaurants. Off-street parking was another plus. The house was spotless. The kitchen came fully equipped, not that we needed the kitchen with all of the great restaurants in Burlington. The living room was so cozy, with gas fireplace insert and comfy sofas. Once our day was done, this was the perfect place to relax. Beds were wonderful and the one bath was beautifully updated. All in all, this is the perfect place to stay when visiting Burlington and we'll be back the next time we're in town.
This was our third stay in this very comfort and clean house. As in our past reviews, the owner maintains this house with a genuine sense of pride and diligence. Although we never had any problems, the caretakers were very attentive and available. If you are staying in Burlington, you really can not beat the convenient location of this house to the town center or UVM. Since my daughter's live in Burlington, I am sure I will be frequenting this house more in the future.
This property was perfect for our 3 day stay in Burlington. The kitchen was fully stocked with all the cooking tools we needed (we love to cook). We were also very happy with the overall living space- comfy and warm. We were able to sleep very easily- all the rooms had AC units (kept the rooms cool and drowned out any sound). The beds were great- and all the sheets and blankets were clean. There was also plenty of extra blankets and pillows. We would definitly stay there again! Thank you so much for making our stay in Burlington so easy and fun!
Charming house located within walking distance of downtown and the lake front. Very clean, well appointed-- perfect for our family of 5. Left the car in the driveway and walked all over Burlington. Favorite breakfast was at Penny Cluse... well second favorite-- Firebird Cafe in Essex Junction was one of the best breakfast spots ever! Kids loved going to the Ben & Jerry's factory in Waterbury. Had a great meal at Prohibition Pig-- beer was great too. Farmers market, the lake front, the Echo and Church Street were highlights in Burlington. Great place and Trisha was really nice and accommodating. Would highly recommend this place if you are thinking of visiting beautiful Burlington. Only negative was the slow wifi which frustrated my online game-obsessed teen-- me not so much.
We lived our stay here. We were up for a week in the summer for a wedding and this house and location were perfect for us. We were within walking distance to a grocery store, restaurantS, bars, shops, and the lake. It was also convenient to the highway if you plan to sightsee outside of disbursing burlington. The house was clean and well stocked. It has a back yard slave for children to play and convenient off street parking. We also used it to entertain family for a cookout.
Overall the home was perfect for our 3 day stay. There were six people (2 couples and two kids) for a summer wedding. Beds were comfy, kitchen well appointed and the common areas were perfect for hanging out together. Had a BBQ in back one night. Easy, easy walk to downtown too.
We filled the house up with guests for our first trip to Burlington. The house was perfect, stocked with all necessary supplies. We were not bothered at all. Walking distance to all the fun areas of town. Clean, warm and cozy for a New Years stay. Would definitely stay again!
We had such a nice time at this cozy and very conveniently located house in Burlington. All the amenities of downtown are an easy walk, where you might not move your car for a couple days without knowing. We always seem to find some new attractions to visit in the area and the restaurant choices seem endless. The owner/operator is very assessable and ready to help if there are any questions. This was our second time staying at this house and recommend it to anyone looking to enjoy the downtown Burlington experience.
We very much enjoyed staying at Tricia and Erik's house. It was exactly as they described and had everything we needed. It was immaculate and very well-maintained. The hosts were gracious and very friendly and accommodating. We would definitely recommend this house to others, and will stay there again, if we return to Burlington. We did our grocery shopping just three blocks away at City Market, and appreciated the convenience, as well as the wonderful choice of foods. Our main reason for coming to Burlington was to enjoy the autumn colours, and we came just at the right time. Thank you again, Tricia and Erik, for a wonderful stay at your house. Renate and Ursula Peters, and Michael Taft
This very conveniently located home was a great choice for a family get together while we visited Burlington for a wedding. As mentioned in other reviews, it is within easy walking distance of the downtown area, stores and the campus area. We had our 16 month old grandson with us so we appreciated the backyard and the fact that the house was fairly toddler friendly. There is plenty of comfortable seating, dining space and cozy spots. We arrived late at night and ran to the store for necessities which turned out to be unnecessary as the kitchen was stocked with more than enough essentials for starters. You won't have any regrets if you book this property.
Our family of 4 had a great stay. The location was perfect for walking all over Burlington. The house was very comfortable, with a well stocked kitchen.
Fantastic front porch! One more bathroom would be lovely. Rooms were all clean, plenty of kitchenwares. Very nice stay.
We had a nice stay in Burlington. A great grocery store and fabulous restaurants within easy walking distances. We had a very nice time with our children and the house was very comfortable. We are looking forward to returning to Burlington and would definitely stay here again.
We stayed here for a conference rather than booking a hotel. It was relaxing, clean and lovely. The fact that the house has only one bathroom required a bit more planning for folks getting ready for work in the morning, but it definitely wasn't a show-stopper. I'd stay again for sure. The owner is very attentive and helpful.
From the beginning of the booking experience until the time we arrived back home, Tricia was excellent to deal with! The communication was always timely, and very informational, which helped us plan our stay in the area. The property was gorgeous, well kept, in an excellent location and perfectly suited our needs all around. Upon arriving home, we realized that we had forgot a couple of items at the house, and Tricia even sent them out to us. It was great, and very much appreciated. For anyone looking to spend some time in Burlington, I highly recommend this property, you will not be disappointed.
My family and I stayed a week and it was perfect. The owner was great, the location just right and we had a great time with our son getting married at Grand Isle. Fantastic.
We rented this house the weekend of my son's wedding. We had a rehearsal dinner barbecue in the back yard with around 30 people it was perfect. The house is beautiful and cozy it felt just like home. The owner was extremely nice and helpful.
Our family of 4 stayed for a week at this great property while our son checked out UVM. The house had 3 nice sized rooms and an updated large bathroom upstairs.. The house has lovely wood floors and very comfortable funiture throughout. The kitchen was nice to have in the morning for coffee and breakfast before heading to the ski slopes or UVM. Spent a lot of time in front of the gas fire place wathing the large screen TV. The house has a nice front poarch to people watch from. We walked into to town most nights for dinner on Church St. It is only a few blocks down the hill. The owner is next door if you have any questions. I would definatly recomend this house over the hotels in the area.
I spent a good part of August in this sweet little house with my three teenage girls. The house is well equipped and nicely located close to Church Street and a great market. Would definitely go back!
My colleagues and I attended a business conference in Burlington and found this home to be a pleasant change from the hotel environment. The owners were very accommodating and the home was extremely clean and spacious. Its a great location if your want to be close to downtown.
My family rented the house as a homebase for my wedding in September. We loved it. From the minute we checked in I felt right at home. The owners are so helpful and polite and helped us throughout the week. We even had a nice party for our family and found that people loved lingering on the porches! Highly recommend this for a classic Burlington experience. One block from City market and close to everything else.
We have stayed here before and look forward to doing so again. Literally, all the comforts of home with a great location.
