Enter your private hideaway through the lower sun room. You will find two bedrooms, a private bath-with claw foot tub-a complete kitchen, and a living room-dining room combination.

We are on a dead end road, just five minutes from Sea-Tac airport, and 15 minutes from downtown Seattle. Close to numerous attractions, or secluded enough to just relax and enjoy the view for a few days.
Discounts available for weekly and monthly rentals
This property is as pictured and described. Clean and comfortable, very quiet, secluded, location near Seattle, beautiful views, friendly and responsive owner.
This little jewel of a property is hidden away in Burien-just minutes from the airport. We need a place with the kids to sleep off jet lag and this was perfect as we could sit out on the large balcony, sip wine, and watch the ships go by while they slept/recuperated from a Trans-Atlantic/Continental flight. A plus were the cute restaurants and Main Street of Burien-great for a quick pizza on the way back from the airport. Ron was super friendly and checked on us to make sure all was well. We‘ll definitely book again for next summer‘s flights!!
Ron’s place was a beautiful start to our Alaskan cruise. We stayed three days. Exceptionally clean and easy to get to. Thank you for a wonderful visit to Seattle. We highly recommend Rons place.
My friends and I have a girl's weekend once a year. We picked Ron's place for the amazing view and proximity to the airport. Ron came out to help me the moment I pulled in. This was wonderful as I am not sure I would have found the correct walkway without his help. The home was beautifully decorated and had everything we needed, even a corkscrew. The beds were extremely comfortable. Ron was accomodating and promptly helped me with some requests I had. It was the perfect vacation. Thank you Ron.
A lovely space with an amazing view. Ron is wonderful. Great neighborhood.
Ron was great and greeted us when we arrived. He was very helpful with directions and provided us with local vegan restaurants. The place had everything we needed with an amazing view of pudget sound. After a full day of touring Seattle, this was a good location to relax in seclusion, away from the city. Cons: extremely steep incline to get there, and there was a few mornings where noise above us woke us up earlier than we would have liked (6:30-7 am)
Very beautiful stay. Enjoyed every minute of this place. And what a beautiful view! Couldn't get enough of it. Stay 1 day out of our week visit just at our retreat so we could enjoy it. Comfortable and spacious enough for us (3). Thanks so much to Ron Goldsberry for assisting us when we arrived and also one night when we mysteriously locked our selves out. Thank-you, thank-you
Very nice place, great views, and Ron was great to work with. He provided a lot of information about great places to visit in the area. Easy to get to airport, light rail, etc. The Burien downtown area is really nice as well. Would recommend!
Had a wonderful 4 day stay. The home is spacious, with a large deck looking over the ocean. The beds are very comfortable and it is so quite at night. Easy to get to Seattle.
Loved this apartment! A few miles from light rail free parking to ride to the city! Host Ron was very helpful with recommendations! Wish we had more time to spend, will be telling friends about this great gem!
This was a wonderful place to stay. Ron is one of the nicest VRBO owners I’ve rented from. The place was clean and well kept, and the views are unbeatable! Thank you so much Ron, we loved it!
Very clean and quaint.
We reserved this for the location and view; it did not disappoint in these categories. This is a lovely place to watch the sunset, and it's close to Seahurst Park, the airport, the light rail, and venues south of the city. Linens are nice, and overall the place is better than what you see in the photos. The owner was nice and welcoming. The home is older, with associated old house sorts of smells and creaks. It's the lower level of the owner's home, and we could hear walking around upstairs quite well (one morning it woke us up around 0600). The kitchen is tiny but fairly well stocked. There is no dishwasher, and we found that we had to wash most dishes prior to use as previous renters didn't seem to do a very good job of hand-washing the dishes. Wi-fi was pretty terrible; it often didn't work, and it was quite slow when it did. So if you're willing to put up with a few issues in exchange for a nice view, this place is for you.
We stayed here for a week, my daughter had a national softball tournament in the area. This was the perfect place to come back & relax after a long day at the dusty ball fields! Clean, quiet & the view is spectacular! Ron was great, if he saw us coming or going he would check in & ask how ball was going : ) If we are ever in the area again, I would definitely stay here again.
What an awesome place. The view is unbelievable. The accommodations cozy and comfortable. We really enjoyed ourselves and plan on returning to this spectacular home.
Ron and Marcella were excellent hosts. The home was beautiful and relaxing for our family. We enjoyed the view of the Puget Sound and Olympic mountains from the deck. Access to Seattle was good. I highly recommend this property. Mitch C.
The apartment is the lower half of the owner's property, situated in a quiet area of Burien. The large private balcony gave us a stunning view of Puget Sound and Vashon Island. It was lovely sitting there in the evenings gazing at the beautiful sunsets. We had everything we needed for a comfortable stay - including very comfortable beds.
We enjoyed our stay. The space was just the right size for our family of 4. The only suggestion that we have is the bedrooms were a bit hot at night—even with the windows open to let in some of the outside cold air.
We were guests for a few days in this lovely VBRO - clean, comfortable and wonderful for a few days of r & r for my husband and I. Super convenient location, and breathtaking views! Thank you for the visit!
Beautiful views. Great get away. I would stay here again in a heartbeat!!
PERFECT place to stay for our first trip to the west coast! The property is just beautiful!
Our stay overlooking Puget Sound in Burien was terrific. The property was very clean and well-appointed and met our needs very well. Everything was as described in the listing. My 2 adult daughters and I had a great 'girls weekend' in the Seattle area and found this property perfect for our needs. It was very quiet and the homeowner was very attentive to any questions or needs that we had. We loved being able to go to the Farmer's Market on Thursday in Old downtown Burien. Would love to stay here again on a return trip and will hopefully be doing that during a time of year where we can take more advantage of the lovely, large deck! Thanks Ron for the hospitality!
Beautiful two bedroom with amazing view from deck of Puget Sound! Clean+ well-stocked apt. Ron is so helpful and considerate of any of our needs or concerns during our 1-week stay. I will stay here whenever I can in the future. You will need a car,or LYFT is very prompt with their taxis!
This condo is convenient to so many things and has an awesome wire.
Loved our stay at Ron's House Incredible Sunsets Close to Downtown Seattle Great host, There if you need him Away if you dont. Thanks Ron We will stay again when in Seattle
This home was clean, and quiet with a beautiful view of the water. It is located in a charming small town and has very convenient access to downtown Seattle. The owner was very accessible for any questions/advice regarding our vacation plans. The home exceeeded our expectations!
Cozy, clean and great view. Ron was was a pleasure to meet and had great advice for local adventures and food. Thanks and hope to see you again.
Great location overlooking the Sound and only a mile from old town Burien (and fantastic lunches from Burien’s Maven Mercantile). Views off the deck are wonderful. We visited over July 4th and enjoyed the fireworks from various communities on the Sound – Three Tree Point, Vachon Island. Great fun with friends while enjoying desert on the deck. The home is exactly as shown in the photos and Ron is available and helpful but not intrusive. Thanks Ron!
Secluded house with breath taking views from the back deck. Very comfortable 2 bedroom home.
This is the first time I've written a VRBO rental review and I've stayed at many. That should say something. Breathtaking views! Looks just like the pictures, both inside and outside. Very clean and comfortable. Ron is a pleasure to work with. If I ever come back to Seattle I will stay here.
Great location! Amazing views! Friendly hosts! The property was clean with all promised amenities. Quiet and secluded with comfy beds.
This is the second time we have stayed here, so you know we love it. Ron and Marcella are great hosts, and we had every amenity we could ask for. You can just sit on the deck, enjoy Puget Sound, the lovely sound of birds and the sea air (my personal favorite) - and you are close enough to Seattle, Tacoma and points further. I love the place, this wonderful retreat. We took a ferry to Vashon Island (wonderful - eat at the Hardware Store), visited Chihuly Museum in Seattle (fantastic), just really enjoyed being in Burien and the slow pace of life. Don't miss Grand Central Bakery in Burien. Thursday is a great day to be there, too, because there is a Farmer's Market in Downtown Burien. Sea and Sky restores my soul. You want to be here! It's less than 5 miles from West Seattle and less than 5 miles from the airport.
Would definitely stay here again. It was so beautiful and peaceful. We we so grateful for that!
Had a great time. Nice, quiet location. Great views, and Ron was very helpful and friendly.
After viewing the photos of this beautiful apartment, our expectations were pretty high. Having never been to Seattle, we were nervous about staying so far from the city and hoping to avoid renting a car. But this place was so adorable we went for it. Oh my gosh are we glad we did. My husband and teen daughter absolutely loved this home away from home. Ron the owner could not have been more kind or helpful, although we only saw him once upon arrival and that was when he graciously offered a ride into town about 2 miles away, we knew he was available upstairs but I've a feeling Ron makes a point of letting you be while you're on his property. He's there if you need him, but lets you have your privacy which is really nice. We arrived at night but were hungry and planning to walk into town for a bite, it was dark and chilly and we were down the hill near the water in a quaint little neighborhood we'd never been to. Ron insisted upon driving us so he could familiarize us with our new surroundings. He's awesome!! But back to the apartment. The best description I can give is to just imagine your sweet aunt Mary has a quaint home on the water, cozy, comfortable, impeccably clean and stocked with just about everything you need, and she invites you to stay there while she's away. It was so much better than a hotel or even a condo in the city, they honestly don't even compare. After our days spent in the city doing all of the cool things one can do in Seattle, we looked forward to coming home to our "home" on the water in Burien, put on our jammies, make some popcorn, grab a blankie, enjoy the tranquility of being on the water, chat, read or watch a movie. My daughter and I also took full advantage of the claw foot tub. A hot bath on a chilly night in the Pacific Northwest is something every person should experience. Then up early for the most gorgeous view of the water and a fresh pot of coffee as we ease into the day, sipping from our mugs on the deck. It was incredible, truly incredible. I could go on an on but hopefully you get the point. And by the way, we never did rent a car. We ubered everywhere. It was easy and thanks to the great price of our apartment, we didn't mind spending a little dough on transportation. Not having to worry about parking in the city or directions was nice and definitely made for a more relaxing trip. If we ever go back to Seattle, there is no question we'll be staying at Ron's pad again. Thank you for your hospitality Ron!!!
By all means go in daytime to find this place. At night would be difficult. Owner greeted me. Very nice man. View is panoramic and stunning. Great facilities for a family getaway or a romantic few days. I would stay again.
The view from the deck is lovely. The unit is located off the beaten track and quiet. Owners are very accommodating. It was quite tight for the four of us. (The master bedroom had either a full or very small queen size mattress and no room to move around the room. The 2nd bedroom barely fit the 2 twin beds.) The kitchen is tiny - no dishwasher and limited counter space. Getting into Seattle took 20 minutes (WATCH THE TRAFFIC - can take twice as long during rush hour). There is no beach access unless you drive. (The nearest access was closed due to unsafe steps to the beach) We drove up to Discovery Park one day - great hiking trails and beaches to roam. Nice for a honey moon couple or family with small children but not really big enough for 4 adults.
This place was absolutely amazing. The view from the house was beautiful. The house was nice and clean. Plenty to do around town. Close to Seattle and surrounding areas. The owner was very friendly and easy to get in touch with.
What a lovely time we had while in Seattle. It was our first trip to Washington and our first time to ever use VRBO. We give both home and location five gold stars and hope to be back in the near future. The view from the deck alone is worth renting this home! If we weren't traveling on such a short time frame and needing/wanting to accomplish several things while there, I could have easily never left the house for several days and just soaked in the view of the water and the passing of the boats. Just lovely! We didn't meet Ron's wife, but Ron was an absolute delight and very helpful with any questions we had. On a side note, the drive in to Seattle is very doable. Traffic? Sure. But, depending on where you are coming from, it may not be any worse than what you are already accustomed to. We live in Nashville, TN so to be really honest, it wasn't a whole lot worse than what we experience during our rush hour. If you work your day around the times to avoid the bottle-neck, you'll be fine. The absolute only thing I can say about our stay that wouldn't get five stars is the wifi signal. The farther you get from the kitchen, the weaker the signal becomes. As long as you're prepared to toggle between wifi and your personal data depending on your location in the home, you'll be fine. Thanks, Ron! We hope to see you again real soon!
My husband and I stayed here on our honeymoon and it was fantastic. Ron was kind and helpful. The property was breathtaking. We would definitely stay here again. We left feeling relaxed and happy with everything we accomplished during our stay.
Wow, are we happy we found this place. The home is wonderfully decorated and very well stocked. And the trees, the fresh air, the stunning views...just so glorious and serene, we felt like we escaped the hustle & bustle of the world. And yet, we were also able to easily make it into Seattle and back each day of our visit -- even twice in a day on one occasion. Also, if you are a fan of Mexican food like we are, we recommend Taqueria La Estacion which is right up the road. This will be the place we'll look to stay on any future Seattle visits.
What a great place to stay! The view of Puget Sound and of the peaks in Olympic National Park were spectacular! A big deck to hang out on was really nice and a great way to get outside without leaving the comfortable living space. Cable TV and all the toys to go along with it couldn't be beat! The little town of Burien had several good restaurants and everything you could need. Seattle was close by with light rail readily accessible. We toured Underground Seattle and that was a blast! A must see after you check out Pioneer Square and Pike Street Market! A big thanks to Ron and Marcella for being friendly and accomodating! Loved seeing the robin nest with the 3 blue eggs!
10 day base for a family & friends vacation. All relatives came to visit separately and together. All were amazed by the location, view & sunset. Close to the light rail station in Tukwila which we used several times to access downtown Seattle. Easy access from there to the ferries which we enjoyed. Easy access to I10 and excellent restaurants just up 152nd st. in Burien. Supermarkets & Trader Joe's require a car. Would do this destination again anytime. Very hospitable and attentive owners. Usually on site, very open to suggestions. The bathrobes were a very appreciated amenity. Kitchen is small; not intended for preparation of big deals. Good parking! Thanks.
Loved it! Ron was great.
We enjoyed the changing view of the Puget Sound & the Olympic Mountains in the background. It was nice to get out of the city traffic & retreat to quiet location. Ron was extremely friendly & easy to work with. The property was clean & worked well for four adults.
This place is a veritable paradise. The view of Puget Sound is jaw-dropping gorgeous. The garden - plants, flowers, vines - just breathtaking. The apartment is very comfortable with a well-equipped kitchen, lots of towels and blankets, books, magazines and games. Bedrooms and kitchen are cozy and everything was in great working order. We rented a car and did some driving in the Burien area. Our preferred mode of transportation into Seattle was the light rail - the station is about a 5 minute drive from the apartment and it was super convenient and fun to ride. Don't miss the Chihuly Garden and Glass. We did a "DUCK" bus/boat ride and loved every minute of it. You get to learn about Seattle and be entertained at the same time (We were a little wary when the driver first boarded the vehicle - seemed like it was going to be way too corny - but he won us over with his humor and "performance"). Kubota Garden is lovely; a beautiful place to stroll and enjoy outdoor time. We hiked in Seward Park which was super nice since we're from Florida and used to very different "environs". We did the water ferry to Bainbridge Island - Fun! And of course we visited Pike Place Market. Had the best of service from Ron. He is 100% responsive to all inquiries. He is cordial and accommodating as the "landlord". There is a binder in the apartment with useful information about the area - including distances to a variety of attractions, parks, etc., and directions. The apartment has lovely original art and is nicely decorated. Can't say enough about the view from the deck - which is large, has comfortable seating, and was where we began the day with coffee, and ended the day with wine! Having a washer/dryer available was a great benefit as we left Seattle for an Alaskan cruise with clean clothes! This apartment is a great value which combined with excellent service from Ron warrants the 5 star rating. We highly recommend this apartment to anyone visiting the Seattle area.
My new husband and I went on our honeymoon and wanted a place to stay near Seattle for a week, but not too expensive. We found it!! Sea To Sky was absolutely gorgeous! Ron was so welcoming and helpful. He gave us suggestions on places to eat and he told us of a nearby restaurant called 909 and it wound up being our favorite restaurant out of the whole trip. The views are stunning and it's close enough to Seattle to get the city experience and far enough for relaxation. We would definitely recommend it to anyone!
Sea to Sky was the perfect place for our party of 4 adults & our 2 year old grandson! We were in the area for a wedding at The Hall at Fauntleroy in SW Seattle so the location was perfect. This place is very quaint, clean, well equipped & has an awesome view of the Sound! The owner, Ron, was very nice & easy to work with, as well as being very helpful while we were there. We highly recommend this location.
Stayed at this location for 3 days, beautiful location, the view is amazing. House was clean and kept up. Ron the owner is a nice guy, easy to deal with and he can be trusted. The value was very good, no complaints.
Thank you so much Ron and Marcella for sharing your little get-away with us. We had a wonderful time as we were here visiting our first grandchild. A memorable trip all around. The views are amazing and the location is very quiet and peaceful. We highly recommend.
Just can't miss with all the amenities this place has to offer. Close to shopping, airport and downtown Seattle. Only problem is I couldn't stay even longer. Weather is awesome and views are spectacular. Ron is a great host and my anniversary trip was one for the memory books. Highly recommend this location. Dave and Burnette Alling

This is a real find for those 1) who want short drive to enjoy everything Seattle and 2) would like a beautiful place with great views over the Puget Sound in a quiet atmosphere in which to recharge your batteries in the evening. The lodging itself can be described as cozy with surrounding lush plant-life and a large deck pointing westward toward the wonderful sunset. It's within a few minutes of SeaTac but you'd never believe it once you check in. Nice restaurants and shopping are just up the hill. The host, Ron, is warm and accommodating if you need anything. I couldn't recommend this spot enough, especially for the more than fair price.
My friends and I stayed a week and enjoyed are stay. The home was cozy, comfortable and clean. The views from the deck were amazing and the garden was beautiful. Ron was very friendly and helpfully. We recommend eating at 909 Wine and Cafe in town. We ate there for breakfast and lunch. The light rail was close by to take you into Seattle and explore. Would certainly return and highly recommend Sea to Sky to anyone wanting to visit Seattle. Thank you Ron!! We had an amazing time.
My wife and I stayed here the 2nd week of September, and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Ron was very nice and helpful, even though we were on the go alot, and didn't see him much. The rental was very nice, with a wonderful panoramic view of the Puget Sound. I would highly recommend getting a rental car. Seattle is a short drive, and Pikes Place market is a must see, and there are many restaurants to enjoy. We had some of the best food we've eaten in a very long time while there. We did a whale watching tour that left from Bellingham, and saw many orcas while we were out. I highly recommend taking a good camera with you as there are plenty of photo opportunities. I came home with a memory card full of "post card" pictures, and they are not all away from the rental. I took some gorgeous sunset pics right from the deck, across the sound. Staying at Sea to Sky made our vacation trip quite enjoyable, with a nice, quiet place to wind down after long days of sightseeing, and adventuring. Ron was more than willing to help with vacation planning over the phone, and via email prior to our stay. I highly recommend Sea to Sky to help create a wonderful vacation memory!!
My long-time friend and I stayed here for a week. What a wonderful place! I think the favorite part of our stay was relaxing on the deck, watching the sun sink down behind the distant island. The home was a perfect place away from busy activity, yet a short drive to major freeways. Very comfortable, with most of the "fixings" in the kitchen. We had a wonderful time!
Our stay at this location was just wonderful! We thoroughly enjoyed the views of Puget Sound and the gardens at Sea to Sky are just beautiful. You must view the video attached to this property to see all that this rental has to offer. The owner, Ron, was an excellent resource to ask about local attractions including the downtown city market, Pike's Place - everything is within a five minute driving distance like restaurants, the public library, post office, shopping, grocery etc. I highly recommend this location for a quiet vacation with all the amenities of being home plays more!
First of all, I've been to places where the owners take pictures and make it look like it's an amazing place when it's not. But this place is one of those rare ones that the pictures don't do it justice! The view of the ocean from both the balcony and inside the condo itself, are stunning. The outside is incredible as it felt like we were walking through a garden paradise to get from our car to the condo. Ron (owner) is very kind and knows a ton about the area if you need tips. The condo is fully equipped as we enjoyed making meals in the kitchen and eating on the porch. My wife and I enjoyed being here and could not imagine staying somewhere else. For first time Seattle goers, make sure you do a whale cruise (saw lots of Orcas), check out the Pikes Market downtown, and visit Mt. Rainier. Washington is loaded with great things!
We stayed a month and this spot is fantastic. The views are awesome. The place is very comfortable. Ron is wonderful to work with. We would definitely stay again when in the area.
Look no further - this is the place! Sitting on our deck looking at Puget Sound, no noise, lovely house. We really loved this place and I will recommend it to anyone I know - when we come back we will definitely be staying here. Ron is a great host. In Burien (5 minutes away) is the best breakfast place -- Grand Central Bakery (we went there every day of our visit). Elliot Bay Brewery across the street for great burgers and beer. Light rail very close by to take you into Seattle. While in Seattle there go to EMP Museum (Experimental Music Project) and then Superior Pie (pizza) for a great dinner. Ivars at Pike Place for seafood is great also. Stay here -- you'll be happy you did! Very clean, well maintained, accurate description and photos.
This was perfect for us- due to our schedules, we started with 4 and ended with 3 and we were all comfortable (we are family). The view made it all worthwhile- I had to study one day by myself and loved every minute of my solitude with that amazing view- Didn't want to leave. The twin beds were so comfy soft they reminded me of home. The leather couch in the living area was super comfy too. Wow. Super charming place. Will return. As an interior design student, I am biased, and suggest you add a punch of color to the walls and/or cabinetry to the little kitchen to increase its charm...
Last December we met our son in Seattle and stayed this wonderful spot. The accommodation provided such a wonderful visit for us all. The home was comfortable and clean with a kitchen fully equipped to prepare meals. But the most pleasing part was to be able to enjoy the view of Puget Sound. Relaxing on the deck listening to the wildlife sounds at sunrise and sunset was one of the highlights of the trip. So very grateful to Ron and Marcel for converting this part of their house to be the spectacular vacation get-away that it is.
What a beautiful place! The previous reviews are very accurate - the water views are incredible. In warmer weather the lovely back deck must be a prime spot for relaxing or enjoying a meal. The entrance to the property is through a charming garden that made me want to come back and see it in summertime. The property was a bit hard to find the first time but the location, 15-20 minutes south of Seattle, turned out to be great. Although there is a transit station in downtown Burien, renting a car is definitely recommended. We were able to explore Seattle and its surroundings with ease. Burien itself has plenty of amenities including many ethnic restaurants, several of which we tried; and the not-to-be-missed Hans' Sausage and Delicatessen, a treasure trove of German delicacies. The rental experience was very positive. We arrived late at night and let ourselves in, and called Ron the next morning to say hello. Ron and his wife live upstairs, and he came right down and chatted with us for while. Ron was responsive to all of my questions, both during the rental process and while we were there, but respected our privacy. The rental itself was very comfortable and clean. There were plenty of fresh towels in the bathroom. The kitchen was small but well-equipped. The two bedrooms were cozy but not overly spacious. We were a group of two adults and two older teenagers, and it was just large enough - I would not recommend this rental to those with more children, or with a need for a lot of personal space. The only aspect of the physical environment we were not happy with was the furnace, which, as Ron explained, cannot be controlled from the rental unit. We were able to manage the temperature by opening the window, but the early-morning noise from the furnace was considerable. We enjoyed seeing Seattle. We purchased a City Pass that allowed us to see several popular attractions for a reduced rate. The weather during the week before Christmas was very cold and rainy, but we expected this and came prepared with the proper clothing and mindset. We had a great time seeing the downtown, the university district, Chinatown, Bainbridge Island, Pike Place Market, and Underground Seattle. A trip to the Boeing Future of Flight, 30 minutes north, is well worth it. I would highly recommend this property to a friend or relative.
What a wonderful little place. It is everything as described in the description. The older contruction reminds me of a little B&B we stayed at in Maine. It still has the old painted wood doors with the original hardware. The new kitchen is terrific if you want to eat in and the view is amazing from the front room. It's quiet and easy to come and go from once you find it the first time. Located down a winding private drive where the homes are stacked on the steep hillside, all vying for that million dollar view. Even though the homes are stacked together it retains it's quiet and seclusion. Very enjoyable, we would definitely stay again.
Our family of four experienced a very special family reunion at the perfect location, Sea-to-Sky. The view was spectacular and the accommodations were exactly what we were looking for. We were able to spend time on the deck enjoying Puget Sound. The kitchen was well equipped for making meals, the bedrooms were very comfortable. The atmosphere is calm and relaxing. We rented a car from a nearby Enterprise location suggested by Ron. It was a great tip, as it was very convenient and less expensive that renting at the airport. This was our first trip to the Seattle area. It was an amazing experience and we hope to return soon. Our first stop will be Sea-to-Sky. Thanks so much Ron and Marcella
Wonderful location, spectacular view from the dec, where we enjoyed breakfast or a glass of wine in the evening. Peaceful and secluded, yet near great farmers market, restaurants, the airport, Seattle attractions. We were in Seattle for a wedding and it was always wonderful after a busy day or party, to return to our quiet, secluded condo. Well equipped and clean. Owners helpful and acommodating. Would certainly return and would recommend it to anyone visiting the Seattle area. West Seattle has some great restaurants. Give Saltys on Alki a try - also has a spectacular view and great food.
Trip background: our trip to Seattle involved a 2-day train ride via Amtrak (Empire Builder) from the Midwest and return trip to the Midwest via plane from SEA-TAC 6 days later. With that in mind, we picked a location that was close to the airport as well as close to public transportation so that we could get to/from downtown Seattle easily, without the need to rent a car. What we found worked best for us as a family of four was to take the bus to the nearest light rail terminal, and then the light rail all of the way into town (about $8). On the way back, we hopped on the light rail, but elected to hop off at SEA-TAC and grab a cab back to the house (about $8 for rail and $20 for taxi = $28). Cheaper than rental/gas/parking, fun for the family, and using the taxi on the way home at night, safer and quicker for a tired family. On to the house itself... the walk to the bus stop is only about 10 minutes, but it's up a very steep uphill walk. This steep grade is what gives the house beautiful views to the water, as it is still situated above the water. Relaxing on the deck was one of my favorite activities after spending time site-seeing downtown. Going inside, what you see in the pictures is what you get, so I won't spend time talking about the aesthetics. I will mention that everything was very clean, there were plenty of toiletries, and we felt at home and safe with our kids (5 and 13). I would definitely stay here again, but I might consider a car rental. We ended up renting a car for one day to visit Mt. Ranier (you must! make this 1-day trip), but if we were to visit areas North of Seattle, a car would probably become a necessity. Aside from that, you should feel very comfortable renting this property if you want a clean, safe "home" within easy reach of downtown Seattle and Mt. Ranier.
My family of six (my wife, me, and our four children, ages 2-9) stayed there and were quite comfortable. Ron and Marcella were so very accommodating to our large family. This is the entry we left in the guest book after our stay at Sea to Sky. It speaks best of our experience there: When I left Seattle for the Midwest in '99, I remember leaving a tremendous beauty in the corner of this country that I would never forget and take with me for a life time. Little did I know that I would one day have a large family of my own that I would want to introduce to all the glory that is in this place. What a way to do it here at Sea to Sky! We regret not getting more time here at this waterfront house (as we were busy from sun-up to sun-down wandering all over this stunning place), but so VERY much appreciate the early mornings out on the deck...taking in serenity, breathing in peace, basking in stillness...my gosh, I want to experience this always. Thank you, Ron and Marcella. You've blessed us and no doubt many others by offering this gorgeous place to guests. We hope to return someday. Until then, I pray the view from the back deck is seared on my heart and mind.
We were two couples and stayed for three nights in this home by the waterfront. The view from the deck was mesmerizing. The yard was gorgeous and home was clean, comfortable, charming and had all the amenities you could need. Our host was available and helpful with our questions about the area. The location was close to SeaTac airport, the train into Seattle, and to the beach areas. We would definitely recommend this property.
My husband and I spent 5 nights while on vacation to explore the Seattle area. The rental is conveniently located as major highways and transportation options (bus or light rail) are within a 15 minute drive. After a busy day of excursions, we would hurry back to enjoy the peace and quiet that the rental has to offer. The views and evening sunsets are spectacular. The rental is private, spotlessly clean, comfortable and fully equipped. The hosts are extremely gracious, helpful and pride of home ownership is evident. The photos and descriptions are accurate and we highly recommend this rental if you are looking for a retreat within the city.
I stayed there for four nights and it is a very good decision. After whole day visiting Seattle, we cook several dishes, eating, drinking, chatting and companying with the wonderful sunset. For the morning, it is another different view. Not too far from downtown and easy to find something to buy, safeway is around 5 mins. I would recommend to my friend to enjoy there!!!
I read all of the reviews of this rental before booking & not only were they 100% accurate, the views have to be experienced to give them proper justice. The hosts are wonderful people who truly care that you have a very memorable stay, & the location is so ideal to everything the Seattle area has to offer. The place is spotlessly clean, the grounds immaculate, and again, THE VIEWS!! We will stay with Ron & Marcella on all future trips to their great city.
We were newlyweds looking for a place to stay after our wedding for a few days before leaving for our honeymoon. This was the perfect getaway!! It was a quiet, relaxing, peaceful and fun place to hang out. The view was fantastic!! Kitchen fully equipped. Bedrooms really cute. Ron was very kind, helpful and generous. We highly recommend this happy getaway.
Had a wonderful holiday in the Seattle area. Ron was a gracious host, with us arriving on Christmas Day, we felt very welcome. The apartment was clean, quiet, and the view was spectacular! The apartment had a very well stocked kitchen with all the necessary appliances, comfortable beds and ample supply of linens . The Burien/Seahurst area had an assortment of restaurants, shops, and of course, coffee!, as well as two nearby parks for walking and enjoying the view of Puget Sound. It was an easy drive into downtown Seattle to enjoy the attractions there, as well. I would recommend this rental for future visits to Seattle.
This was a perfect spot! We were in Seattle for business and chose to stay here. What a place! Quaint, warm, fully equipped and more! Everything listed is here. The view of the ocean and Vashon Island were spectacular, whether enjoying on the secluded deck or from the living/dining room views coming in after a long day of travel and work and being able to have the choice of when to eat, before or after the World Series was great with the kitchen there waiting. Parks close by to walk, going in to Burien for lunch is so close and the shopping is 10 mins away. We will definitely be back! Thanks again!
The view, the decor, the comfort, the amenities, the price!! All perfect! This beautiful rental is perfect for a family of four, or a romantic getaway. The view makes you feel secluded and a million miles from anywhere yet the owner is there for you should you need anything at all. The beds were so comfortable and the deck was so relaxing. There is a metro stop minutes away that you can use to get into downtown Seattle with ease. This was a perfect little slice of heaven which I highly reccomend!
This West Seattle gem is perfect for relaxing after a hard day of touring Seattle's many sights. Comfortable, spotlessly clean, everything you need at hand. Artistic touches everywhere. The lovingly tended surrounding grounds provide more natural beauty for visitors to enjoy. This hideaway once found is easily accessed; a parking place is provided. One caveat: there are narrow steps to manuever one's luggage around, which could be an issue if arriving at night. Ron is an excellent host, friendly and hospitable but not intrusive. He was most gracious in working with our changed travel plans. Comments logged in the guest book are evidence of how welcoming this place is for visitors. We enjoyed walking through Burien's interesting commercial area, eating delicious fish tacos at the Eliot Bay Pub, and buying vibrant flowers at the weekly outdoor market. We congratulate Ron and Marcella for providing this special spot for guests. Thank you both for your kind hospitality. May we wish you continued success with your place on the sea. Visitor from Atlanta
Where can I begin? The host, the views, beautiful gardens, spacious decks, comfortable beds, snacks, and everything we needed, plus more. Guide books, glorious sunsets, great location;! our host even produced a week of perfect weather - sunshine every day, no rain, and temperatures in the 70's - what a guy! We are coming back Ron.
Wow!! What a place, We spent hours just sitting on the deck looking at the views. Close to everything but like being far removed from te hustle and bustle of everyday life. Thank you Ron for making our holiday that much better! Your rental was beautiful and had everything we could want. What a view! We will definitely be back!
We originally chose this destination for it's convenient location and great value during our visit to Seattle. The house worked very well for our family of four. You cannot appreciate the location until you arrive. The view of Puget sound is wonderful and the property is beautifully maintained. Ron was very friendly and made us feel very welcome. We could have used this visit as a destination in itself. We would love to return again. Thank you for your hospitality!
We had a girlfriend weekend at Ron and Marcella lovely home on the beautiful Puget Sound. Incredible views, all the comforts of home and every detail taken care of in this rental. The deck is relaxing and sitting out enjoying the fresh air, good conversation, food and great friends was made even more perfect from this home. We look forward to another visit soon. What a fantastic vacation rental. Ron and Marcella are the perfect host and hostess. Thank you so much for sharing your home with us. Many Mahalos.
This property's location is absolutely fantastic. We spent a week touring the Seattle area which included visits to Mt.Rainer, Seattle's best sights, and white-water rafting in the beautiful Cascades. But you should know that we truly looked forward to returning each day to Ron's and Marcella's retreat. We even ordered dinners to go just to sit on the deck and watch the sun paint wonderful color pictures for our pleasure. The house was perfect for us. Well presented and appointed. Our host even took time on his "golf day" to make airline reservations for my family. Sometime in the future, I shall return to the Seattle area for business reasons. My first phone call shall be to Ron to determine if he has a corresponding vacancy. As a reader of this review, you should know that I am not known as a person given to shallow compliments. Ron' place is the place for you. Kindest regards, Jerald Vascoe
This house was perfect. We caught ourselves not wanting to go see things around Seattle and wanting to just come to the house and sit on the porch. The porch is wonderful. We had sunshine the whole time we were there and spent most of our time at the house enjoying the view. You could see mountains, snow, and water all from sitting in one position. We loved it. It also had wi-fi, which is nice to check in to your flight home. It had a full size washer and dryer. We enjoyed the washer and dryer because when I got home ALL I had to do was unpack. Everything in our suitcase was cleaned and smelled fresh. Another thing we loved was it was close enough to the city, driving distance, but far away to feel relaxed! There are a couple of stairs to get into the house it that is an issue you need to think about, but this would be a great house for any family or couple young or old.
This place is so perfect! It's an amazing location with a beautiful view of the Sound. We loved relaxing on the deck after sight seeing throughout Seattle. It was the perfect size for our family of four. It is beautifully decorated and immaculately clean. The owner was available when we needed him and yet we felt as if we were the only people on the property most of the time. Not only would we recommend this location to a friend we will most certainly choose to stay here the next time we are in Seattle. We absolutely loved it and didn't want to leave. It is such a great value for the price. You will love it too!
Wow! We loved staying here. We had to extend our trip in Seattle, and the owner was able to accommodate us. He was great about contacting us right away to let us know that the property was available. It was easy to find, close to everything- easy to get on the freeway to get to town. This was perfect for our group of three (daughter, granddaughter, and myself). Kitchen was well-stocked, and we love sitting on the deck watching the sun rise, or the sun set. Saw an eagle soaring by on day. Perfection!
This is a wonderful, clean, and cozy rental right on Puget Sound. Since I was traveling to Seattle for work, this was a great location as it's only 5 minutes to SeaTac airport and just minutes to Seattle and Renton. The view of the Sound from the living room and deck is priceless, and one could spend hours there marveling at the view of the water and the ever-changing view of the Olympic mountains. If you're adventurous, you can walk up the hill to the charming little town of Burien. There's so many good restaurants and shops nearby. I recommend a dinner and movie at the Tin Room for a good neighborhood experience. Your hosts are great and truly seek to make your stay enjoyable. I can't thank them enough for sharing their home and making this a memorable visit.
Great place. This was our first trip to Seattle and had no idea about where to stay. We wanted peace and quiet, great veiws, comfortable home-like accommodations, close to SEA-TAC, and convienent to sight-seeing in Seattle and surrounding area. This place has it all. Ron's description of the property and pictures were exact and exceeded our expectations. He even helped us carry in our luggage and spent time at our first meeting to tell us about himself and gave us some great recommendations on where to eat and how to manage the unexpected highway work downtown on the Alaskan Highway Viaduct. The whole time we were talking we were on the sundeck of the lower living area enjoying the spectacular view of Puget Sound. We stayed a week, Saturday to Saturday, and were gone most of the day time sight-seeing, but were back in time to watch the sunset while enjoying a glass of wine and Tillamook cheese. The only sound you heard was a hummingbird ( Ron and Marcella have hummingbird feeders around the property ) or maybe a crow or seagull, no loud music, no car noises. If you saw any barge or container ship traffic, you couldn't hear them out in the middle of Puget Sound. When you go to the property, the road going to it is like the main street of Burien. There are lots of places to eat, mainly small venues, but great food. We tried 909 and The Mark, and liked both places. There is another town about 10 minutes south called Des Moines. There is a nice restaurant at the Marina called Anthony's. Great seafood. During our sight-seeing, we went as far West as Grays Harbor ( Westort ) on the coast and to the East, North Bend and Snoqualmie. If you like to do wine tasting, check our Woodinville. All the local wineries have company stores there right off of Hwy 2020 where you can taste and buy their wine and company products. I highly recommend Airfield Winery. We went as far north as Everett and toured the Boeing plant there. One of the high points of the trip was a float plane sight-seeing flight from Lake Union on Kenmore Air. It is a great way to see Seattle. We also enjoyed a steak dinner in the Space Needle one evening at sunset and was able to enjoy the lights of the city while having supper. Two other places to eat I would recommend is Salty's in West Seattle and Ivars on the waterfront, close to the ferry docks in downtown Seattle. If you like coffee, you're in heaven here. Coffee places everywhere, not just Starbucks. Ron, thanks again. Burt and Teri.
After you check out hotel prices in the Seattle area, come back to this page and call Ron. Why pay as much--or more--for just a hotel room when you can rent a whole apartment and have a deck that overlooks Puget Sound and the Olympic mountains??!! The apartment is small but cozy. There is only seating for two in the living room by which to see the TV, but we didn't spend all that much time watching TV. We were fortunate to have have great weather for touring and for sitting on the deck. The sunsets from the deck are spectacular! This is a very quiet property as well. Ron's prices are also good compared not only to hotels but other properties. You can't beat the price for the views you will get and the quiet surroundings. The property is located conveniently right between Sea-Tac airport and downtown Seattle--15 mins to either. BTW: Be sure to get to Rhodie's BBQ at 351 Broad street, just a little west of the Space Needle. Great little local place we discovered!
This is a nice, clean property with an outstanding view of the Sound and Olympic Mountains. The deck is large and very nice. The kitchen is small, but very well-stocked with plenty of food items. This is a great place to come "home" to after day trips.
My wife and I were very pleased with Ron & Marcellas wonderful Puget Sound rental. The view was spectacular and serene all at the same time. There was plenty of room and everything was very comfortable. Ron is a personable guy and conversations were enlightening about the area. We got to try the local transit system (train) and it is a very reasonable and convenient way of getting around. The location is close enough to everything and you can be anywhere in the Seattle/Tacoma area within an hours drive, and there is plenty to do anywhere you go. We hope to be able to stay here again when we are in the Seattle area, Thanks, Ron.
We came to Ron's place on the advice of our good friends Rick and Ginger, who stayed here last year. It was our first trip to Seattle, to visit our travel nurse daughter and celebrate our 25th anniversary a few weeks early. Even though the weather tried to "dampen" our spirits, the sheer comfort and beauty of the place made our week one of the best we've ever had! The views of the mountains, the water, even watching a pair of eagles dancing in flight together over our deck are memories that will just have to last us until we return again- thank you, Ron!
My Sister and I came from Texas to see my Son who is in Graduate School in Portland and Ron's place was wonderful. The neighborhood was quite and remote. Yet restaurants, shopping, beach access and getting into Seattle were all close by and very accessable. The place had everything that you could need available. The views from the balcony were exceptional. My Sister even called my neice and told her about the place for their next vacation. I would recommend renting this place.
My mother in law stayed at Ron's during the month of December. She absolutely loved it. It was clean, quiet, and had everything she needed. The view is exceptional and even though it was December she couldn't helf herself from enjoying the balcony. There were great sites to see from boats to birds. Ron and his wife were very hospitable and welcoming. I would definitely recommend their place to others.
This was a wonderful rental for the price. It provided for all our needs and was a great place to come back to after a day full of sightseeing. The views are exceptional. thanks Ron for sharing your piece of heaven with us.
This place is perfect for a romantic peaceful stay, great views and location. Very confortable and beautiful place!
We were overwhelmed with the beauty of the vista from the home. We were enchanted to walk over a garden-lined foot bridge to enter a little piece of paradise. It was tempting to stay in and change our sight-seeing plans! However, we were within 20 minutes driving time from downtown Seattle where we toured on the "Duck Tour" and took in all of the sights physically possible--especially the museums. We ended with a fabulous evening at the Teatro Zinzanni. We woke in the morning to the most spectacular and romantic sunrise over the water with the Cascades as a backdrop. We were able to cook our own diet-specific foods with a fully stocked kitchen and had breakfast and coffee out on the patio deck. This trip and the experience with the B & B's owner far exceeded what we anticipated. We have already talked about making this an annual trip to refuel and get away from our busy lives in California. The proprietor was awesome.
We were enchanted with Sea & Sky in every way. It is a very clean, roomy place, with a breathtaking view from your own private deck. (I am envious of the flower gardens.) It was very nice to have a washer and dryer too, since the airlines charge for luggage. Also very easy access to main roads to get you on your way to see all Seattle has to offer. We stayed for two weeks and were in and out all the time sightseeing and still did not get to see all we wanted to see! There is just so much to do and see in Seattle! This is a dream place to stay and would reccomend it to all. Thanks for our wonderful place to stay! PS>>>We also suffer from allergies and my husband is asthmatic and the only time I had any problems was walking in the parks and he didn't have any problems!
I agree with most of the reviews in terms of the view, the courteous nature of the host, and the amenities. Great to have a working kitchen. They have thought of every detail, down to the board games and puzzles for a lazy, rainy afternoon. Very homey. Our only complaint, which some guests might appreciate, is that we found the place seriously aggravated our allergies. I arrived with a slight cold, and my partner suffers from asthma. Both of us, however, experienced unusual and aggravated respiratory problems in the place, especially after the day that we decided to stay indoors all day to rest up. There is a musty-basement quality to the apartment, and it is something that will have to be addressed before we stay there again.
You think this place looks good online? Wait until you get there! It’s truly a gorgeous, peaceful and practical home-away-from-home surrounded by a flower-filled landscape. We were wowed from the moment of arrival. Ron (as pleasant and helpful as everyone says) joked that we set a record for most time spent away from the place, but we wanted to experience everything on our first visit to Seattle. There are great hills for morning runs right out the front door and restaurants are a brisk 20 minute walk to town - 909 Coffee and Wine has a great menu! Whether you plan to lounge around all day or drive to Mt. Rainier, Olympic National Park, Pike Place Market (about 20 minutes by car) or kayak in the San Juan Islands, this is a great spot. We left around 6:00 a.m. for our Olympic and San Juan days, but if you don’t mind that sort of thing, you can definitely spend whole days in these places. At Olympic we went all the way to the Hoh Rainforest, did an easy 40 minute hike, stopped at Rialto beach for an hour and even spent an hour at the tide pools in Salt Creek County Park. Waking up to the view of Puget Sound with the Olympic Mountains beyond every morning and walking across the Wisteria-laden bridge to the front door each night were perfect bookends to our adventure-filled days. The kitchen had everything we needed, the private laundry downstairs was great since we fit everything in carry-ons, the bed was perfect with excellent pillows and the house is fresh and clean. Being so close to the airport is a treat for quick arrival or if you have to catch a super early flight out. Before you head to the store or public market (great fruit at Sosio’s stand), be sure to check the kitchen as you’ll find all kinds of things that you won’t need to buy. We enjoyed every minute of our 10% relaxing, 90% adventuring time spent here! Thank you Ron (and Marcella who we didn’t get a chance to meet as we were on the run) for memories we will treasure always.
This is a beautiful and quiet home and the owners (who live in the upstairs unit) and helpful and pleasant. The beds are comfortable, the kitchen is well-stocked, and the view of the water and mountains is spectacular. We hope to stay here again.
We wanted to enjoy a quiet retreat while visiting family in Renton who boat out of Des Moines. This was the perfect spot for R&R. All was as described and seen on HomeAway.com. We continue to talk about the property to friends and family and will definitely stay here again.
Ron was gracious enough to contact us immediately when we first inquired about the property. When he found that they were not going to be home when we arrived, he again contacted us and made accomodations to get into the duplex upon our arrival. We were surprised to see that they listed (on a welcome board) that they were a B&B. Our usual experience is a B&B furnishes a breakfast each morning of your stay. Not so with Ron and Marcelle. We were pleasantly surprised to find a completely stocked kitchen, including items to fix for breakfast, plus snacks, and fresh fruit, and a pantry full of goodies. When Ron and Marcelle returned home, Ron came to our duplex and introduced himself. We rarely saw them during our stay, but when we did he suggested places to go to dinner, etc. and we had some lovely conversation. Their place is lovely with a beautiful view of the water. Sitting out on the deck was a delight. Everyone is entitled to their opinion, but we found the bed to be poofy and comfortable. Should you find yourselves visiting the Seattle area in the future, Bob & I highly recommend staying at Sea to Sky B&B.
The 4 of us gathered from all over the country at this vacation home. It was perfect! We were on the sound but only 15 min from Seattle. We took the sights in and then came home to relax on the deck overlooking the sound. This home is fully stocked with linens, games, books, etc. Even the kitchen has cooking items so you don't have to purchase them at the grocery store. I would definitely recommend this home to anyone wanting to visit the Seattle area!
What a wonderful place and Ron could not have been nicer or more helpful! This was the perfect location for us--overlooking the water, 5 minutes from the airport (so easy for an early am flight home), 15 minutes from downtown and also from Alki beach. We loved the accomodations--so charming and full of any needed necessity. We would come back in a heartbeat--loved this place!
My husband, 8-month old baby and I stayed here for 6 days and 5 nights at the end of May. It was so wonderful to get back to such a place of comfort after a long day of traveling and exploring the Seattle area. Ron truly made it feel like home...even with our baby. The rooms were comfortable, the tub was heavenly after a long day's hike and the view...well, the view made it extremely hard to leave. I guess we'll just have to go back!
My mom and I stayed for a 3 day weekend and very much enjoyed our time at the cottage. The place was well equipped and truly felt like home. The queen bed was quite soft.
My adult daughter came from California and we spent 3 nights at your lovely place in May, 2009, and thoroughly enjoyed it. The decor was very attractive and comfortable. You have truly thought of every detail, right down to herbs and spices in the kitchen. We needed only our clothes and main food items. It was so quiet. We enjoyed the privacy. We were able to get quickly to Seattle and the airport. Old Burien is delightful, with lovely shops. All in all, a very nice vacation spot.
Ron, thank you for allowing our family to share your little piece of heaven. We just returned from 4 nights at the cottage and had an absolutely fantastic trip. The combination of peacefullness at the house and the easy access to all that greater Seattle has to offer is a perfect combination. The pictures make the inside space seem smaller that it really is. The three of us had plenty of room and the "lived in" feel of the apartment was fantastic. We we able to see most of the hot spots in Seattle as well as the surrounding area because of your fantasic access to the highways south of town. The fact that we were 10 minutes from SeaTac Airport allowed us to easily catch our early flight back to the east coast. The fact that you have 2 great Italian restaurants right in town allowed us to go all day and know we had a great dinner waiting for us on our way back to your place. We will definitely recommend your house to our friends and hope to be able to enjoy it again on own own. Thanks again, Brian, Liz and Hayley - Charlotte, NC
We stayed 5 nights, just 2 adults. The apartment is under the home of the owner but unless we were all on our respective decks we were unaware of them. We never say them after the 2nd day when they kindly lent us a set of golf clubs since we only brought 1. The place was clean and has great views. Rather further out of Seattle than we expected however. Good grocery shopping within about 10 minutes in the town of Burien, but you can't walk to restaurants/pubs from the house. We spent every evening eating seafood at home on the deck watching the boats and sunsets. Only 2 complaints -mattress was very saggy and therefore uncomfortable for us and the stove only had 1 burner that worked consistently. We managed and enjoyed our stay. After 5 days staying in hotels we really enjoyed having a place of own to spread out and cook all the while enjoying great views.
Oh what a vacation we had! Staying at the b&b went beyond our wildest dreams! We were glad we picked Ron's place to spend our Anniversary, romantic was an understatement! We felt like we were coming home every time we'd come back to the "cottage" after a long leisurely day. Stay again...can we live here?? Thanks for an awesome experience, we will definately be back, again and again until we can move to Washington permanantly!
We stayed for 4 days in September of 2006, and absolutely LOVED it! It is so quiet & the grounds are beautiful-- 100% Pacific Northwest! Easy access to Seattle & I5. We stopped by Pike's Place, got some fixin's and made a home cooked Dinner of mussels & prawns on the deck at sunset!
This was the first time my wife and I were in Washington so to stay at a place with views like this was what we were looking for. The views of the sound and Olympic Mountains were incredible. I think when we were there Seattle had the best weather they had in a long time so it was very enjoyable for us. This location is close to everything but so quiet as if you were hundreds of miles away from it all. Ron was very helpful on telling us where we should go to see different sites so we also had a great time away from Sea To Sky. With the stress of everyday stuff I felt so relaxed and comfortable. If we were to return to Seattle we would like to stay here again.
This is a great find! Close to the airport and to downtown Seattle. The home is lovely, the view magnificant, and the friendliness appreciated. We enjoyed our week very much.
My wife and I had never been to Washington, what incredible luck we discovered Ron and Betty's place among the hundreds of B & B available. What an awesome view from the deck, we would drink our coffee there every morning and watch the tugs and ferries move across the sound each night. Every detail was thought of, we did not want for anything. Ron was so helpful on letting us know where to eat, what to do and see. We would stay here again for sure, and so close to the airport, but yet so peacful.
It was our wedding anniversary that we stayed at Ron and Betty's B&B. It is a romantic place with spectacular view of Puget Sound. It is very cozy and serene. We had an unforgettable experience. Ron and Betty are such a friendly couple. They made us feel quite at home.
My husband and I just returned from eight days at this wonderful property. It was truly like being in our own home. Ron and Betty have equipped the property with everything that you might need for your stay. The location is great - we had not been to Seattle before and found the location to be perfect - easy into and from Seattle. The view from the deck is outstanding - across Puget Sound to Vashon Island and the Olympic Muntains beyond - a million dollar view. Ron and Betty are gracious hosts and most willing to assist you with directions and ideas for your stay in Seattle. We hope to return and visit this wonderful place again!
