Within the Magnolia area, West Magnolia Park is located just a block from the house, affording children a chance to play and interact within the neighborhood. The property is exactly as described/pictured. The 2 bdrm/ 2 bath house, with its large private patio area, allowed us to relax in the evenings after dealing with movers, boxes, and technicians at the new house. The house was clean, well-ventilated, and equipped with a washer/dryer. The owners are super easy to communicate with and incredibly kind. You can't beat this very private, stand alone rental house for a reasonably priced stay in the lovely, upscale neighborhood of Magnolia and you can't beat owners who treat you like you are an honored guest!
Beautifully maintained property in great location.
We absolutely loved staying in the Magnolia Memories home. It is an immaculate, well appointed and very cozy home and the decor is gorgeous. We enjoyed total comfort in a peaceful setting and convenient location. We will be back!
My girlfriend and I stayed at the Magnolia Memories House in Seattle from January 13th through January 16th, 2020. We were delighted! The house is located in a charming and peaceful neighborhood, close to downtown Seattle. The front and back yards are neat and tidy, featuring birdbaths, comfy lawn chairs and table, and a BBQ. The house is wonderfully appointed with floral art, relaxing furniture, a gourmet kitchen with marble countertops, and a spacious whirlpool bath tub and two large showers. We enjoyed hanging out at the dining room table with the newspaper, our laptops, and each other. The master bedroom features a romantic gas fireplace and an, oh so comfortable, king sized bed. The bedrooms had ample closet and drawer storage space and the bathrooms had generous countertop and drawer space, as well. We were very comfortable and relaxed in the Magnolia Memories house and would love to return! Thank you so much for wonderful hospitality!
We had a great stay in Magnolia Memories. Wonderful home, well kept great location Hosts are accessible and home is clean and comfortable.
Lovely home, brighter thank it looks in photos, very well appointed and cozy! Thanks for a great stay!
The house was just beautiful. The kitchen had everything we needed and then some. The bedrooms and bathrooms were spacious and each had there own heat control which was great for us. The backyard was so inviting and a great place to sit out. The best of all was location location location. Just minutes to downtown, grocery shopping, and local resturants. Just a great place to stay.
The property is very well kept and has everything you need. It is also just a 10 minute ride to downtown Seattle.
Three of us enjoyed the home and the property. We arrived two days late due to my being hospitalized. Good location, would recommend this home.
The property is very nice and has everything you could possibly need. It has an incredible yard and great access to a lovely Village. We will be back.
Sweet property. Location is awesome for either going into the city or staying in Magnolia. We loved the style of the house as well as how the two bedrooms are private and separate. Super cute backyard. A quiet oasis to enjoy. Our 2 year old grandson spent three days walking around the house saying “wow”.
We stayed at Magnolia Memories before boarding our cruise to Alaska. We wanted something that was close to downtown but also quiet enough to relax. This was perfect and we enjoyed coming back to this home in the evenings! Beautiful home!
We were very pleased with our stay in Seattle. This beautiful home was as nice as we could have hoped. The house is located in a great area only minutes from two grocery stores an amazing park with hiking trails and a farmers market with-in walking distance. So much to do within a few minutes from home.
We stayed in Magnolia Memories over a three day period in June. We have stayed in many vacation rentals over the years, and this one has been the best. It would be very hard to find anything that it is lacking. A great house for two couples! All review comments regarding the house's location to grocery shopping, bus stop, quiet neighbourhood, etc. were accurate. We would definitely stay here again, when visiting Seattle. Thanks Eileen and Debra, your accommodations were very much appreciated!
Magnolia Memories is a sweet little cottage with 2 BR & 2 full baths. It's decorated so nicely and has everything you'd need, including pancake mix! Ellen and Debra were so easy to work with and the property was exactly as promised. The neighborhood was so nice and walking to the grocery a couple of blocks away and a few restaurants made it super convenient since we didn't rent a car. One of the things I loved is that the owner has put little signs all over the house with instructions on how to use things (ie. jet tub, heater) That took the guess work out of using these items and set clear expectations. I was really happy about that. The beds were comfortable and with 4 adults staying for 2 days, we were not crowded at all. The property is a 5 minute ride from the Smith Cove cruise port in a residential neighborhood, so if you want to add a couple of days in Seattle to your cruise, this is the perfect place to do it. About 10-15 min Uber ride to Pike Place Mkt, Queen Anne & Pioneer Square, so if you want somewhere that is quiet to rest, but easy to get to the high points of Seattle, this is the place... you won't be disappointed!
Great place to stay in Seattle.
This home offers fabulous comfort, great location, easy access, friendly contacts - in other words the best experience you could imagine! Have used the property many times and never been disappointed!
This was our third stay at this property and we are very happy with the place and location. We are just a little over a mile from our daughter. The place is user friendly and has just about anything you might need. It is close to shopping and dining as well. It is the kind of place you can settle right into and feel at home. Very worthy of the five stars we have given it.
Our family had such a nice weekend trip and staying at this home just made it that much better. Great location, still close to all the fun stuff Seattle has to offer but yet gets you away from the hustle of city life. Super cute town and we will definitely stay there again on another trip to Seattle.
The house looks unassuming from the outside. When you step inside, you are entering a luxurious home. Spa baths, very comfortable beds, electric fireplaces and a fully equipped kitchen. The house was impeccably clean. Neighborhood was quiet. Unfortunately the February weather did not permit use of the yard. Would stay there again in a heartbeat.
From beginning to end...owner/manager great at communication. They even made exception when hubby broke foot...had to travel later. Everything was very clean...and I'm particular. Being a gourmet chef...was treat to have such well stocked kitchen in a rental...and while kitchen was small...high end quality of kitchen outranked size! Gorgeous fenced back yard for our little puppy...perfect for summer in magnolia...though we visited late October. loved walking neighbourhood with charming safe streets away from noise of downtown....but close enough we did all the touristy things Seattle...while returning to quiet neighbourhood. Bonus...great little Italian place couple blocks away...walking distance. Also luv privacy of two bedrooms at opposite sides of house. Our fav part...was Halloween...when lots neighbourhood kids came "trick-or-treating'...we still laugh about some of the kids outfits...super cute. One young boy was "with the CIA"...😎😎😎... "wow...never seen that before! So funny! Only thing missing was providing a mop for people to keep Floors clean after cooking. Thanks again, and we'll be back in summertime to enjoy your back yard garden.
Short vacation with some friends. Perfect setup for two couples; a bedroom and bathroom on each end of the house provided privacy. It’s evident that a lot of thought went in to setting up this Home for guests; we had everything we could need. The neighborhood was clean and safe. Host was very communicative and accommodating. We will definitely stay again.
This was our second visit and we will definitely use it again. Comfy and has everything needed to have a wonderful stay. I cannot think of a thing that I would change about it. It is also close to shopping and restaurants, etc. Thanks for letting us use your property.
We loved this place! It was ideal for two couples travelling together - loved the split room arrangement! And the bedroom tv's with DVD players was a nice feature! Lots of extras and local info, too! We enjoyed walks around the neighborhood mornings and evenings. It was nice to be outside of the downtown craziness, but it was only 10-15 minutes away! If you want to go out to breakfast Serendipity Café gets our vote - we ate there twice!
Great location in a quiet neighborhood. Clean and has all the amenities of home. Definitely will stay here next time we come to Seattle. Close to downtown and Ballard so driving was very easy and within walking distance to a store.
This was the 3rd time we stayed at Magnolia Memories, and we are always very pleased with the facility, the yard, and the customer service. Our first stay there was around 9 years ago, and the house, yard and patio are still as comfortable, stylish and fresh as they were that first visit. We'll be back again, I'm sure!
First of all, when I booked this beautiful home, I could not wait to get there. I spoke with Debra and Eileen and both were very responsive answering all questions and booking is right away. When we got to the house we were extremely happy and overjoyed at the space and how comfortable it was. The beds were super comfy and the master bathroom exquisite! The second bedroom and bathroom were just as nice. We had everything we needed and boy did we enjoy the backyard!! The weather was nice and cool so it was nice to sit outside enjoying coffee. Eileen told us we could eat cherries from the huge tree out back. I really wish we had booked more than two nights. Actually, we tried to book the house for our after cruise stay but it was already taken. Sad face!! The two nights prior to our cruise was amazing at Magnolia Memories. Thanks so much Eileen for answering my calls and thanks Debra for booking us! I really hope we will be back to Seattle and can stay here. All my best to you both!!
We loved our stay. Everything g as described. Thanks for a wonderful time!
The home was perfect for us. Very clean and well supplied. We will very much recommend this house to anyone. If we ever come to Seattle again we will stay there again. Thanks for all the support of the TV.
This home was very clean, comfortably and thoughtfully furnished and equipped. Nice extra touches when we arrived, like coffee, pancake mix. Very Convenient to Magnolia village. Also a nice fenced backyard and patio. We would definitely stay here on another visit.
Really enjoyed our stay, the house wasn’t that big but was very well appointed, well kept and had everything we needed with 3 kids. The owner was great to communicate with, everything was exactly as described. The location was great, community centre and park right across the street, 5 minute walk to the cute little shops and restaurants. And still within a 10 minute drive to everything we wanted to do (Zoo, Pike Place, Science Centre, etc). I would recommend to anyone who wants to visit Seattle but not stay right in the bustle of the city (but still super close!). We will not hesitate to visit again!
Nice quiet neighborhood house. Just what we needed to chill out at the end of a two week expedition through the Canadian Rockies and British Columbia. All you need in the neighborhood. Just a short drive into Seattle for all the tourist things. If we come back to Seattle this is a definite place to stay.
We completely enjoyed the comfort and all of the amenities this home had to offer. The home is located in the perfect neighborhood, where you can feel safe and relaxed. Reserving the home, checking-in and out was made simple. We were able to request an early check-in which was very appreciated. Spoke to the property manager a couple times, Eileen you were very helpful and courteous. We will most certainly consider renting this property again, thank you Debra, Eileen and Magnolia Memories for a great place to stay!
This property was very nice and clean. The owners definitely cared about making the renters as comfortable as possible. It was a very short stay so we can't really comment on the kitchen but it appeared to be well equipped. We had planned on using the grill one night but discovered it required charcoal which we didn't get so we decided against that plan. The beds were comfortable. The over the counter sinks in the bathroom were nice but the added height made it difficult for a short person like me to use. It was really easy to communicate with the owner. The area is beautiful although a bit further from greenwood where my daughter lives. I would recommend this property to others.
This was our first experience with VRBO accommodation. We had traveled from Australia to meet our 2 daughters in Seattle for 4 days. I found the booking, payment and entry to the property to be very well explained. The house and garden were every thing we expected and more. The home owner Debra provided additional information via email prior to our arrival, for example how unusually hot it would be at the time of our visit and some helpful hints to overcome this. I have no hesitation in recommending Magnolia Memories, particularly for a quiet family get together in suburbia. ( PS A short walk to grocery store, cafes and pub)
This property is in the perfect location. We have been here before, but our guests were from Kentucky and wanted to see the sights. So close to everything, yet tucked away in a quiet neighborhood, this cozy, well stocked home affords you the best of both worlds.
Every place we stayed was great and each was better than the previous one. Magnolia Memories was the last stay on our trip and it was wonderful. The house is very nicely decorated, comfortable, well supplied, good internet and TVs and the location was great. A very quiet and safe neighbor which is conveniently located. It was very easy to get to downtown Seattle to see all the sights. Magnolia has a little village of shops and restaurants that looks interesting and has a Starbucks. Also, on 34th going north is a very nice grocery store with many upscale products. Did not get to go to Magnolia Park which looks like a nice place to have a picnic and go down to the shoreline for a stroll. I definitely recommend Magnolia Memories and would definitely come back to it.
This is our 2nd stay at Magnolia Memories and hope it stays a vacation rental forever. The location is absolutely perfect for us. Close to the library, Catholic Church, Whole Foods, and Saturday Farmers Market. It's relatively close to downtown Seattle but it feels a world away when you're here. So quiet and peaceful. And it's genuinely dog friendly. Thanks and we hope to visit again soon.
The house was very nice, furnished nicely and the yard was beautiful. Great location. Only minutes to downtown.
The house is well set up, 2 queen bedrooms with full bathrooms so 2 couples or in our case, parents and a 3 year old are very comfortable. Great amenities and a beautiful back yard plus it's easy walking distance to the shops & park in Magnolia. Overall very nice, I'd recommend it for sure.
We had a last minute visit to Seattle and found this wonderful home. We have family living in Magnolia and this couldn't have been a more perfect location. The owner was quick to respond and we booked it. The house is great. It's quaint, clean, organized and has everything you need. Our two boys had fun exploring the backyard and we walked into town every morning for breakfast at Starbucks. Easy. A fun park and playground is down the road as well. We will absolutely book it again in the future.
This lovely little house is clean, comfortable, and relaxing. My husband and I stayed here for 3 nights in April. We would definitely stay here again! The owner was nice to work with and responds quickly.
We enjoyed our stay very much. The house was perfect in size and provided everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. It was very clean, well appointed and in a great location with easy bus access. The thoughtful touches were very appreciated.
We've found our Seattle home! We visit Seattle regularly as our eldest daughter lives in the area and we like to come up from Sacramento to visit. This home has everything you need and is perfectly situated to enjoy everything the city has to offer. We love the neighborhood and it's proximity to amenities including a Catholic church just two blocks away. We love being able to walk to Sunday mass. Owner/manager are very responsive and easy to deal with. We will definitely rent this again so I'm hoping it stays a vacation rental for a while.
We were in town for a wedding so loved the central location. Everything was just as described, very clean and comfortable. The kitchen was extremely well equipped, much more so than usual rentals. We really appreciated that so many things like coffee, sugar etc. were already stocked. Wonderful, quaint neighborhood, we hope to return some time when we are not so busy with a wedding.
My family of 5 stayed for a couple of days while visiting the Seattle area. The house was clean, well appointed, and comfortable. It was only 1 block to the bus line (bus 24, direct to downtown), and across from the public library. It has a car port for parking (I had a Chrysler minivan). The house has two king sized beds that are very comfortable. any more than 4 and there is a a sofa-bed in the living room.
My friend and I had a great trip to Seattle. we encountered issues about property after we left. I would highly recommend to renters of this property to take pictures upon leaving the house, and also if you can video. I was wrongly accused of breaking equipment. I barely got home and my credit card was charged for equipment I never touched...
This was a great little place in a nice quiet neighborhood. Very comfortable & we enjoyed the wifi, tv and cabinet of games with our two elementary aged children after a long day of exploring the city. We also enjoyed walking to get get ice cream and explore a local park that over looked the city. Having take out / delivery menus was also quite handy.
Everything was just wonderful. Very clean and very comfortable. Thanks for allowing my family to stay there. Thank you!!!!
This was our 2nd stay at a Magnolia Memories. It is a really nice home with everything you need. We especially like the covered patio and fenced yard. A public library across the street, a playground 3 blocks away and Starbucks 4 blocks away make it a great location. Also 10 minutes from Ballard and 20 minutes from downtown Seattle. Restaurants we'd recommend include Hot Cakes in Ballard, Paseo in Fremont and Chinook's in Magnolia. We did have a disagreement and lost our deposit concerning the condition of the home when we left and the extra cleaning needed. We would highly recommend you document with pictures when you leave.
Magnolia Memories is a lovely home away from home. The accommodation is immaculate with every convenience you could possibly need. It is about a 20 min drive from Down town Seattle, Pike Place Market etc... However is a lovely area to escape to at the end of a busy day in the city. We did find restaurants in the area to be somewhat limited and very busy. Reservations would be recommended. All four of us would highly recommend this accommodation.
My wife and I spent a two week vacation in Seattle in late Sept-early Oct. We were not familiar with the city but after some research (incl. asking folks on TripAdvisor fora for advice) we narrowed our search to about 4 neighborhoods including Magnolia. Magnolia would seem to be a little remote for a tourist vacation but in fact it is perfect. It is actually closer to downtown and to interesting neighborhoods and parks than many of the areas that appear to be more centrally located because of the total lack of traffic in getting anywhere. 10 minutes to the center of downtown maximum; right across the bridge from Ballard and Fremont and so on. This house is in outstanding condition; the owner and agents are extremely easy to contact and to deal with; the kitchen and the bathrooms are in totally updated contemporary shape (tho we only cooked at home once in the two weeks but the kitchen is completely equipped for everything); the separation of the two bedrooms and their bathrooms by the LR/DR/kitchen area made having guests stay over on one weekend extremely comfortable (and noiseless); the backyard is beautiful and the covered area for picnicking or just sitting outside is perfect. Landscaping both front and back are maintained as well as you would do at home (for some folks likely better). The house is absolutely to be recommended and I can't stress enough the advantages of the Magnolia neighborhood, a public library branch across the street and its small downtown (The Village) with one of Seattle's most outstanding restaurants, two other very acceptable restaurants, a coffee shop that opens before dawn, supermarket, drug store, banks, a gas station, a liquor store and all in a remarkably tranquil environment where folks actually walk (early and late) and it's green beyond belief (well, it's Seattle).
We have visited the Ballard/Magnolia area for several years and this is the best home we've rented yet. We come to visit family in Seattle and this provided a great place to hang out, cook meals and it is close to downtown and other sights. It was priced reasonable for the location and amenities. The staff was very professional and easy to work with. The home is on one level except for 2 steps down to the 2nd bedroom so good access for anyone with disabilities. The beautiful backyard with patio, tent, fire pit and BBQ grill was a highlight. Landscaping is first class. The carport with off street parking was nice too. Also plenty of street parking. The kitchen was fully outfitted with all the appliances and accessories you could need. The decorating is tastefully done and makes it feel like home. The location is excellent. Magnolia is a great neighborhood with grocery stores, Starbucks, restaurants and shops only 3-4 blocks away. A public library is across the street. A great neighborhood for walking with Discovery Park and the Ballard locks about 1 mile away. Our new favorite dessert spot is Hot Cakes in Ballard. And Matador nachos and Ballard Pizza too. Magnolia Memories will be the first place we check for our next visit to Seattle.
The house was so comfortable, homey and better than the pictures. It was very clean with all the amenities one can need. The property manager was very prompt in responding to a question I had, I would highly recommend this property. The surrounding area is very quiet and well kept. Seattle has a lot to offer, we were there for a concert and family gathering; there are beautiful parks nearby and the grocery store is within walking distance. The house had a lot of literature on things to do in Seattle.
My sisters and I recently stayed at Magnolia Memories. The house is lovely with all that you will need for a comfortable stay. It is in a very quiet neighborhood. We felt like we were staying in a small town and yet the city was minutes away.
My husband and I really appreciated having such a well-appointed house to relax in. We love to cook and found the house to have everything we needed to prepare meals for our family and guests. The house and everything in it was clean and in great condition. Thank you!
We stayed here because we wanted a more quiet place to enjoys away from the hustle/bustle of downtown. My best friend and his son and my boys and I met here from California to watch our Seahawks play the Niners. The house was perfect. Great quiet area, walked to local restaurants, grocery store very close. The house was very clean, felt like home in 5 minutes. We loved the multiple tv's so we could have lots of football games on when we were home ( everything we can't do at home with our wives! ) Kitchen was great... everything we needed. We used BBQ and the fire pit outside to just catch-up and relax. We did use the bus line that is 1/2 block from house to go downtown..so easy and fun. The kids loved the tub/Jaccuzi and all the space in the bathrooms. WiFi worked great. Thanks for a fantastic place at a reasonable price in a great neighborhood. San Francisco - Seahawk fans!!
We stayed here for 8 days. It was perfect and very comfortable. Everything in place for a great stay. Immaculate. Yard was wonderful. We felt very safe in the neighborhood. Easy to get to lots of interesting places from the house.
Our stay was for 7 days. This property was a perfect place to stay. We where close to city but just far enough away to have peace and quiet. Great neighborhood. The home was beautiful, clean and very cozy. I would stay here again. The owner called once and was very nice. Thanks for having his beautiful home foe vacationers like me. I appreciate it.
My husband and I have stayed here on three separate occasions and absolutely love this home. We call it our home away from home, and our grandchildren, that live close by, call it "your little white house". The owners have done an outstanding job of providing everything you could need. In summer we enjoy the glorious back garden, fully fenced yard, which is nice for out little dog, Beautifully landscaped and well taken car of. There is every appliance and dish you could need, plus tons of beautiful dishes, glasses and cutlery. We had a family dinner for Christmas Eve and it was like our own home. It is spotlessly clean, and in excellent repair. We could not recommend this more highly! You will not be disappointed! Excellent location with excellent restaurants and coffee shops within walking distance, along with grocery stores, drug stores etc. Love Magnolia Village!
The house is fantastic. The location is so quiet that you can sleep with the windows open and wake-up to the sounds of the birds. It is so clean and nicely decorated. The garden is well kept and perfect for evening relaxation. Debra provides the basics (to start) such as coffee and the spice rack for the cooks is great. We will stay here again and will recommend to friends and family.
The photos do not do justice to this very cozy and comfortable home. We wanted a place that could accommodate 4 adults and also had an outdoor area to host a BBQ celebration for our daughter's graduation from UW. This home's modern decor, well-equipped kitchen, and beautifully landscaped backyard with a covered patio, provided the perfect setting. The attention to detail was icing on the cake. Thank you, Deb! We will definitely stay here again.
