Beautiful lake shore house with an unobstructed view of the lake and direct access to the water.
It is one the closest house, with lake access, on all of Lake Shasta. See my picture.
Mount Shasta Ski Resort is only 40 minutes away.
There is 1000 sq/ft of decking facing the water. The water is three hundred feet away when the lake is full. 2,300 sq/ft living space plus large laundry area and 400’ sq/ft of lower level room.
Parking for boat trailers.
Boat launch 0.2 miles from house.
Shasta Lake is a reservoir and the water level is control by the Federal Bureau of Land Management. Please check out the water level to ensure the lake level, for the maximum use of the lake. Winter, spring and early summer, the water level is the highest.
One master suite with a king size bed and on-suite, one bedroom with a king bed and one room with two queen beds. The upstairs bed rooms and bathroom can only be accessed by the sturdy spiral stair case. See pictures.
Addition two queen pull out couches.
There is only one staircase to the upper bedrooms and bathroom. Some of the deck is very high from the ground. Not recommended for small children.
This is the second year we have stayed at this house. We love the location, the layout of the house and the extra parking. We have family come from 3 different areas so that means several cars and also trailers so the room for parking is ideal. The house is a bit older, but Adam has done some nice updates and has everything you need!
2021 July sadly water level was disappointing , but house was great location and ample space. Kitchen ware was the best we’ve had having rented other houses in the area
House was lovely and very comfortable for three couples. Kitchen was well stocked and property manager did a fantastic job of Che king us in. We will definitely be back!
Home was clean. Location great! Would definitely stay again!
Great house and location, no issues and we found the listing to be very accurate.
Both owner and property manager were fabulous. They made my much needed vacation happen. No issues, no drama. Everything was just perfect. Thank you both for making our family vacation exactly what we needed. 💯 beautiful property.
Our family had a wonderful time staying at this Lakehead house. It was an easy walk down to the lake everyday, and the house had everything we needed. Our kids loved every minute and didn’t want to come home. We highly recommend this home to rent.
House was clean and well stocked. Beds were really comfy. Deck with view was so relaxing. Lake was low, so we couldn’t swim or keep boat with us, but Sugarloaf launch was literally steps away. Overall, just a wonderful stay. On a cautionary note, the two bedrooms upstairs are accessible only by very sturdy spiral staircase—a bit of a challenge for our pre-geriatric group, especially after a day behind the boat!
We really enjoyed our time on Lake Shasta. The house was spacious and well stocked. It was very clean and all questions were answered and responded to very quickly. There was an ant issue in the neighborhood which was a challenge but the property manager was responsive and tried to help as much as possible. The appliances were a little outdated but, aside from a broken icemaker, worked well. The view of the lake was lovely and it was a short drive to where we could rent a boat. highly recommend for families.
This home is spacious and comfortable. The deck was great for outdoor meals. The view is great. The air-conditioning on the main floor was strong and felt amazing to come in off the hot lake. If the lake level was higher it would be perfect! There were more places to sleep than needed. Easy fold out couches in the living room. The only downsides were ants in the kitchen upon arrival and throughout our stay, and poor internet connection(not the owners fault it is a remote location).
Overall we had a wonderful stay. Large house that fits 8 people comfortably and it has a pleasant view of the lake. The only downside is that it is impossible to anchor boats along the shoreline of the house. We were lucky enough to get two boat slips at Sugarloaf Marina for our stay. Otherwise we would be trailering/launching our boat everyday. If I were the owners, I would remove the photos of the boat anchored along the shoreline as it is very misleading.
We had a great time staying at this home. The only downside was having to leave! The view was wonderful and I imagine it is even better when the lake is full. It is a quiet neighborhood, it was helpful to be able to park our boat trailers and vehicles in the driveway and everything on the listing was accurate. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again!
Overall a very nice location with great views from inside the living room and the spacious decks.. Good size house for the six of us with all the amenities.
It was very nice. There were a few items left by the previous renters that I would have removed before the next guest arrived. Great location, we had tons of fun on the lake! I would recommend this property.
Everything that was listed on the website is extremely accurate! We had a wonderful time getting away. The views of the lake were amazing! Can’t wait to come back!
Beautiful property and close to the water.
We really enjoyed our stay at Adam's Lakehead lakehouse. The photos gave us a good feel of what to expect. The biggest issue we had was the Internet connection was not good so I would plan to disconnect while you spend your time here. There were a few other things that we will provide Adam with feedback on so his future guests are treated like royalty. We understand this is a relatively new rental for him and he is relying on local people to take care of things. This can take time to work out and to be expected. He was very responsive to our needs and when concerns came up he made sure they were taken care of. This isn't a castle but more of a very comfortable and well taken care of cabin. The location was excellent as it has one of the best beaches in the area. We could bring our boat close to shore and swim up to the beach and quickly walk to the house to pick something up. The AC worked great too, which meant we could sleep well at night.
Adam’s lake house was awesome!! The lake was almost full which meant we were super close to the water. We anchored our boat and left it in the lake near the house for the whole week. We chose to use the launch ramp at Antler’s because it was wider than Sugarloaf and only a little farther drive from the house. The kitchen appliances were a mix of old and new and they all worked great. From the retro microwave to the new kitchen aid stand mixer to the bbq, we used it all. The beds were very comfortable with plenty of space for our family of 5 and our adult niece who spent the week with us. The view from inside the house or sitting on the deck is amazing! We saw deer several of the days. The spiral staircase was a prominent feature that added character to the home. The wood and tile floors were beautiful. We would love to stay again in the future!
Quiet neighborhood. Close to the lake down a small path (hillside) which takes maybe 20 seconds to get to. Garage was handy to store our lake chairs and pop up in overnight for a quick set up the next day. Beautiful views from the house/deck. Communication and directions were good. Pipes from the upstairs shower are noisy for the downstairs master bedroom. With the center circular stairwell you might need to take care overnight by an accidental fall, especially with small children. For us it was not an issue. Everything worked well and we really had no issues with anything (things like internet, the ice maker, A/C, fans, etc). It's a beautiful property and we really enjoyed our stay. We'd EASILY stay there again.
