FOX RUN - This brand new listing offers a charming, 1,100 sq. ft. single family home, with deck overlooking a large pond. It is a 3 bedroom, 2 bath, split plan, completely renovated with new bathrooms, bedrooms, kitchen and breakfast bar, flooring, cabinets, appliances and furniture.
It has Mountain Views and is close to everything - whether you're a foodie, beer lover, antique collector or outdoor enthusiast, our home is centrally located for you to enjoy everything the area has to offer. Downtown Asheville and the Biltmore House/Estate are less than 6 miles away. The Blue Ridge Parkway is 4 miles away with spectacular views and hundreds of beautiful hiking trails. After touring our wonderful city, relax and enjoy a private and peaceful setting on the deck, which overlooks our pond and feed the koi fish. (THERE IS NO FISHING ALLOWED).
This property is perfect for families, couples or anyone who wants a peaceful, natural, mountain experience while being close to everything at the same time. While drinking your morning coffee or evening cocktails on the deck, watch hawks, blue herons, and many other birds enjoying the pond each morning.
To make this unit affordable for a single couple, even though it will sleep up to six people, the quoted prices are for TWO PERSONS ONLY. EACH additional person, including any age child, are $10.00 per night, per person.
We welcome your small pets, with owner's PRIOR approval, and an additional pet cleaning fee. The charge for the first dog or animal is $75, and a second animal would cost an additional $25, for a total of $100. A third dog may be considered if pre-approved by the owner and further charges would apply. The fenced side yard and gated deck are ideal for pets, and the wooded property line gives you the feeling of country living. The laundry room door opens to the fenced yard, so managing your dogs is easy. As we have worked hard to create a peaceful setting, it is not suitable for loud or late night partying or large gatherings. THE PARKING AREA HAS AN EXTERIOR SECURITY/WEATHER CAMERA.
The WIFI is high speed cable. With the exception of seven stairs to the deck and front door, all living areas are on one floor and easy to navigate. Although we are pet friendly, the rental is thoroughly cleaned and sanitized after each guest's visit.
If you are planning a family reunion, we have an additional rental on the other side of the pond which sleeps four (VRBO property #430071). If you book this rental, you will receive a Vacation Rental Agreement and, if approved, for dogs, a Dog Guidelines Agreement. You must sign and return this agreement(s) within 72 hours to the address provided in the Agreement(s). We recommend you purchase travel insurance.
This is the second time we have stayed here and we really loved it. We came to see my daughter, her husband and our 2.5 year old granddaughter with our three small pups. The fenced dog yard was perfect as was the huge gated deck. Perfect for entertaining. The house is immaculate and well stocked. It was close to wherever we needed to go. Highly recommended!
Loved this property. Hard to find dog-friendly properties (where they really mean they are in fact dog-friendly, and this one definitely was! The dogs enjoyed the side yard (although the sound of the frogs by the pond confused them at first!). We stayed there with our adult children and significant others and had a great time -- enough space for the 6 of us and 2 dogs. Property is very clean and the property managers were very communicative and very prompt in responding to any questions. Definitely recommend.
This is a double wide in a pretty setting. It is not far from town, but is off a side road and off the beaten path.
It's been three years since last visit and we are glad that we returned. Clean and well stocked house at a quiet location.
Met all expectations Looked just like the pictures! Lindsay answered all my questions quickly!
We loved the home for our first visit to Asheville. The proximity to town was great n we loved the pond. We would definitely return if we are in Asheville again. The property managers got back to us quickly when we had a problem. Loved this property
Nice stay. It was away from everything but close enough that if you needed something that it was not far away at all. Loved the pond and tranquility of the property. Unfortunately we did not get to relax as much as we wanted too. We attended my niece's graduation and relatives came by to have cake and refreshments. We look forward to going back for a relaxing weekend.
We loved our stay! Your home is a perfect layout for me, my husband, our daughter and 3 dogs! Having a fenced in back yard with easy access through the kitchen was amazing! It was wonderful to know that all we had to do was open the black door and let our dogs run free in the back yard! It was really nice to also have a gated front deck for us to enjoy too! We enjoyed the easy access to the downtown area while staying in this home! We look forward to renting again !
This is a very well maintained property and was perfect for our group of six to stay at for a weekend in Asheville. It's a relatively easy fifteen minute drive to downtown.
Clean, private, functional, responsive owner, decent location just outside of town. A pretty good value, especially if you are looking for a dog friendly place, but be advised this home is actually a doublewide trailer (albeit a very nicely done one) off of a short dirt road. Dog run and fish pond are a plus.
We had everything we needed. Loved feeding the fish everyday! Actually close to everything. Wish we could have stayed longer! Thanks sooo much!
We very much enjoyed our stay at this house. During our stay, we took in downtown Asheville, the Blue Ridge Parkway, and the Biltmore Estate. This was a nice place to come back to after a day of sightseeing. We also enjoyed feeding the fish in the pond. Thanks!
Very well cared for and comfortable made it ideal for a relaxing vacation. Close to Asheville for all visitors' attractions. I recommend renters to give it a try.
My family & I enjoyed our weekend at this house very much. It was a nice quite get away. The owners were very pleasant to work with. I would love to stay here again some time.
We had a family time at the Fox Den address. We enjoyed the quiet location but still close to everything. Thank you so much for a wonderful home.
This home was in a great location for the Blue Ridge Parkway and Biltmore Estate and the Asheville area. The house was set up nicely, with excellent grounds and a fenced dog area.
We had such an amazing stay here. We had 5 adults, 3 young kids and 2 dogs and couldn’t believe how spacious the place and grounds felt. Were so pleasantly surprised to find we had cable TV and checked out some soccer games. Perhaps our favorite part was discovering some of the old board games in the cabin as this ended up supplying us with hours of entertainment. Thanks!
We love looking at VRBO for our home away from home and this rental proved to be our favorite to date. A very nice 3/2 over looking a pond from a lovely deck with a mountain view this home as close enough to the downtown activity but yet enough in the country for that 'cabin feel'. Everything was in perfect order and all the details attended. We felt every bit like we were in our own place and I will echo the other reviews that having that fenced side yard is a real bonus as pet-owners. I highly recommend this home. I traveled with my husband and at the last minute brought my son and grandson (both mid-20's). They loved the WIFI and extra cable features keeping them connect to social media. I loved the electric fireplace for the romantic feel and the tranquility of the location - sitting on the deck and nary seeing another person. The caretakers are just across the pond, but unlike other rentals, they totally respected our privacy but I know that they were there for questions if needed. We have our own little place out of state and will be stealing several decorating ideas from this place to reuse at our own home as it felt so comfy and cozy. This will most certainly be my first stop when we return again!
We were very pleased with the property and it was very comfortable and felt like home away from home. The additional things that were already in the cabin (Shampoo, dish washing detergent etc) were very helpful and a great thought. Thanks again and we will stay again on our next trip to Asheville. Thanks again the Denmark family
I highly recommend this property for a family vacation. We were traveling with three children (8, 10, and 11 year old). They loved playing by the pond and watching the ducks and koi fish. We loved the neighborhood and the nearby grocery store was the best. We will be back!
My husband and I stayed here with our dog for a week waiting for our house in Asheville to close. The house was clean and the kitchen was extremely well stocked. Our dog enjoyed having the large gated deck in the front to hang out on in addition to the backyard. The house is close to town and the grocery store which is nice. We would absolutely stay here again or recommend to family/friends!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Cabin was cosy and very clean with well equipped kitchen. Our 2 dogs enjoyed the fenced yard. The cabin was close to Asheville allowing us to visit easily in the evening for meals out etc. Thank you :)
Two of us came here for a New Year's getaway. We found the house as described. The beds were perfectly comfortable. (A must for me.) The kitchen is well-equipped. It was great to find a supply of detergent and dryer sheets as we forgot to bring ours. Our small pups loved the fenced yard! This house is centrally located to everything. It was in a very quiet spot. We will definitely return.
Our trip to the area was a business trip so it was so nice to have a home to come back to each night that was so clean, cozy and charming! Our group each had their own bedrooms and we loved hanging out in the living area together. Restaurants were close and it was easy to drive to. Thank you so much for the great stay!
After reading other people's reviews; we all have similar "plus" reasons for enjoying our stay at 29 Red Fox Den Dr. Personally, I loved seeing the Red 29, private drive signs, everytime we returned from a busy day of scouting the area. The rental is in a handy location for what will be on your vacation "to do" list. And to prepare for your day, you have all the amenities and the comforts of your own home. I can not think of one negative experience. Outside there was the view of the pond and at a distance a quiet neighborhood of upscale homes, backed by a mountain of trees. Did we feel we were in that neighborhood? No, the opposite. Red Fox Den had a quiet demeanor with trees and large front porch. And we chose this rental because of pet friendly. The fenced in area gets a Gold Star for handiness. And the rental showed not one sign of any previous dogs had been there. And don't forget the fantastic Ingels Grocery store is minutes away. The owners get a "High Five" from us for the joyful and restful experience they give others in sharing this property.
The house itself was fine. The yard a little on the small side and was a little nervous about surrounding houses on the way to rental property, looked a little ifff. But the house itself was ok.
Very clean well kept property with koi pond right off the deck. Watching the "feeding frenzy" when you toss in the fish food was something to see. Near everything.
We enjoyed staying at this cozy retreat. It was very clean and just the right size. A couple more bath towels would have been nice; however I did laundry and we were fine. Thanks.
We had a great visit at this lovely home. Very clean, nicely furnished, and well equipped. We brought our dog and loved the large deck overlooking the pond with gates on both ends so she could be off leash. The fenced side yard gave her a space to run. It was very close to town and to our 11 month old granddaughter who we had come to see. We would definitely stay there again.
My husband, 2 big dogs and parents had been all set and ready to rent a lake house in Northeast Georgia to celebrate my mom's 70th birthday. Then hurricane Irma happened and the house became unusable. I immediately went to VRBO in the hopes of finding a replacement for a special weekend. Bob responded to my inquiry within minutes and was extremely accommodating. It really saved my mothers birthday. This house was a perfect replacement. While not fancy (fancy is overrated), it is budget friendly, clean, with lovely surroundings and a prime location. It's within 15-25 mins from Asheville, Hendersonville and Black Mountain. We were concerned that we wouldn't be able to find a place that allowed our large, though well-behaved, dogs so last minute. Not a problem at this house! The fenced yard behind the house could not have been more convenient. We also thoroughly enjoyed the well maintained pond that houses gorgeous koi and catfish. Fish food was provided and we fed them every morning, adoring every minute of it! Beautiful weekend.
Well cared for, quiet and a pleasant spot to come back to after several busy days!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The house was clean and comfortable and equipped with everything we needed. Great view over the water, complete with tranquil fountains. The location is perfect, close to downtown Asheville and the Biltmore Estate. An added bonus was being able to bring our dogs. There is a fully fenced, spacious dog run and many walks and trails in the area, which our dogs loved. It was really nice knowing they were happy and safe while we were out sightseeing. We were able to completely relax and unwind in this little piece of heaven. We will definitely visit again.
Loved it. Perfectly suited our needs. Close to everything but still tucked away. Will definitely return!
Stayed in Property for a week and really enjoyed it with my kids. Bob was extremely helpful when i had issues with the TV and came right over to help. Easy access to the city but at the same time private and relaxing. Would recommend highly.
The house was roomie and clean. The property was very private. We could not see or hear the neighbors to either side of us. Having a pond at the front door was beautiful and relaxing and the outside fire place was great. The lot gave a feeling of seclusion yet was close to everything. This will be our home away from home on all future visits to Asheville.
This home is in a lovely area of Asheville convenient to Black Mountain, Blue Ridge Parkway, restaurants, Ingles, and Whole Foods. It's dog friendly with a fenced in yard, no carpeting for those of us with allergies, and has everything that one needs. It's also very private and quiet which was an added bonus.
We enjoyed the quiet location and fenced yard for the dogs. I had not been to North Carolina before and this was a great way to have a comfortable location from which to explore.
We were a family getaway and this was perfect! My 6 year old loved feeding the fishes! It was a great location for anything in Asheville and not too far from rafting in TN or hanging out in Posgah which is why we went!
We enjoyed our stay there visiting with family. House was as pictured, clean comfortable. When arrived thought door was locked but it just sticks called owner resolved easily. Would definitely return there again.
Very clean and peaceful. Conveniently located. Pet friendly. Definitely would stay here again.
It was a very nice stay and we enjoyed all the outdoor activities that are in close proximity.....hiking, waterfalls, downtown Asheville, and many more. Thank you for sharing your clean home with calming surroundings.
Enjoyed our stay here! Everything was clean and ready for us to enjoy Asheville. Our two boys (9 & 11) along with our Golden Retriever were impressed with the dog yard, the water fountain and the ability to feed the fish every night. Three spacious rooms and an amazing deck allowed everyone to have a wonderful vacation. Thank you!
My children and I and our friends loved the house. They had supplies there to get us through our stay. My children loved feeding the fish (some looked almost as big as my 4 year old) and my friend who brought her dog loved the convenience of the dog run. Great house, and we loved using the fire pit to make s'mores:)
We loved everything about the home. It was clean and had everything we needed for our stay. The pond and fish were a favorite for us. We will definitely be back as well as encouraging our friends and family to visit as well.
The house was as neat, clean and well stocked as you could ask for. One of the best parts of our trip was sitting on the porch with a glass of wine and our dogs at the end of the day.
This was our first stay at this lovely place, but it will not be our last. This vaca rental is not far from anything.... It has everything we needed to make our stay stress-free; more space than we expected, wonderful fenced in yard for the dog, and the koi and catfish in the pond kept our 3 year old grandson mesmerized for hours! This rental is right up the road from an Ingles (grocery store), and not far from the Mall area of Asheville, but it is up a lovely graved road. It was very quiet. We would recommend this rental for it's cleanliness, location, and general presentation. I don't believe anyone, or small group of people renting this property would be disappointed. Don't feel like cooking? Pomodoros Greek and Italian is not far from Ingles... does take out.
Loved our time in Asheville and the cabin was clean and had a lot of things we needed. We had a nice Thanksgiving dinner there with family. The fenced in yard was so handy with our two four legged friends
Owner was easy to work with and we enjoyed our stay at this location. Home was clean and updated and location and outdoor space was nice. We also enjoyed the firepit as well as feeding the fish!
The house was perfect for us with our little dogs, except very small dogs like my chi-chi mix can escape through the pickets on the deck. I liked the bedrooms on either side of the living area with a bathroom on each end of the house. The kitchen was well furnished and comfortable for watching TV. I liked having a fan in the master bedroom because I had to leave the windows open and fans on to clear out the fumes from Glade Air Fresheners that had been removed at my request. I appreciate that the owners asked cleaning service to only use vinegar and water for cleaning as I get sick from use of Clorox and harsh chemical cleaners. This is a good place for family and those with pets.
What a wonderful way to spend time in Asheville. The house is very private and secluded but so close to downtown Asheville. Up to date and VERY clean. Our granddaughter kept calling it the mountain house. Plenty of room for 4 adults, a 3 year old and a dog. Our granddaughter loved feeding the fish. I would definitely recommend this house, you will not be disappointed. Thanks so much for sharing your home with our family. Lynn Friedel
Description of this home on website is accurate, very nice and well maintained. Pond and fountains are a nice addition though we did hear a lot of barking from one of the neighbors hounds somewhere in the neighborhood. Fenced in yard was perfect for my dogs and home was very easy and convenient to get to and also get to all the attractions in Asheville. All in all, one of the nicer places I've stayed while visiting this area and would definitely stay here again. Thank-you!
This property is wonderful. It is a very clean well-maintained cottage that has a large front porch overlooking an adjoining large yard and pond with a fountain. Both properties belong to the same owner and are accessible to the cottage tenants. The cottage also has a small fenced area for dogs. The property is extremely clean with modern appliances, including laundry. It's close to downtown Asheville, but has a country feel to it. It's a great place to stay when you're visiting Asheville, which is full of neat things to do such as the Food & Wine Festival in August, the Blue Ridge Parkway and Folk Art Center, lots of hiking trails and waterfalls, and super nice people. I highly recommend it.
This place was beautiful, clean, in the middle of everything we wanted to see. Everything you need in a home was provided and more. We visited The Biltmore Estate, which one day is not enough time to see the entire place! The Blue Ridge Parkway is a beautiful ride with many awesome stops and trails along the way--Craggy Park and Mt. Mitchell, Folk Art Center, to name a few. Also, sitting on the deck and feeding the fish, made for a quiet and serene evening. We will definitely be coming back to the area, staying here again! Thank you so much for opening up this perfect home.
Excellent place! Very clean and very well maintained. We really enjoyed the nice clean place with a very rustic setting. The house was really well maintained. The air conditioning worked well. We would highly recommend this house.
We had a lovely time at our little wooded retreat. Our location was convenient to hiking trails on the Blue Ridge Parkway and also very close to downtown Asheville. The house was comfortable and roomy enough for three adults, two kids, and two dogs. The fenced in yard was a bonus for the dogs. We like to hike with our dogs, so being able to bring them with us, was a bonus. We really enjoyed our stay and we hope to make it back to to the Asheville area in the near future. I would recommend this property to anyone looking for a quiet and comfortable place to stay in the Asheville area.
We stayed here for a girlfriends weekend and it was a wonderful place. It is beautifully decorated, perfectly laid out and very comfortable. It's tucked away in the woods but close to everything. We visited the Biltmore Estate and Antler Hill, went out to Black Mountain and took a ride down the Blue Ridge Parkway. I would definitely stay here again. My friend comes down often with her mother to visit friends and she thinks it would be a great place to stay with her mother. Thank you for your hospitality. Lori
Better than described. Peaceful country setting yet close to everything at the same time. Unexpected details like night lights, labeled switches and grocery discount card made our stay even more enjoyable. For a pet owner, the gated deck and fenced yard were perfect. Loved the modern updated decor. Would highly recommend and expect to return ourselves in the future!
Welcoming and clean Convenient location to town and to hiking in mountains
This home is so conveniently located that it is accessible to almost all of the wonderful places most people want to go around Asheville. We spent the 4th of July in Asheville and had a wonderful time. We went horseback riding near Lake Lure (a beautiful community), toured the Biltmore Estates and surrounding gardens, visited many wonderful towns that all have their own wonderful restaurants, artists galleries/shops, and very friendly people. I'm hoping to move to this area within the next year to be closer to my Minnesota and Maine daughters. It's a gorgeous area with very moderate temps and 4 seasons. This home was the cleanest vacation rental I've ever had. It's nicely laid out and was perfect for my daughter and grandson on one end with their own bedrooms and bath and my bedroom and bath on the other end. It is very peaceful and private with a wonderful pond out front with two fountains. The frogs at night are a delightful sound. They have it well stocked with most everything you need. We had a wonderful family vacation that also served a purpose for me. I will be back probably several times looking at houses and would stay here or in one of their other homes for sure. Very responsive and helpful when you have questions or need something. I was more than pleased with my choice of homes. More than 5 star. Thank you very much. I enjoyed my stay immensely. Judy
This was a great property just a short 10 min drive from downtown Asheville. We found location to be peaceful and private. Great for us and our golden retrievers. House was comfortable, clean and had everything we could need. Owner Instructions were clear. There were just the two of us but house easily slept 6. We were able to walk dogs on the roads around the house as well as numerous Asheville parks and trails. Gated dog area was convenient. We would definitely stay here again!
We really enjoyed our stay here, only wished we had been able to stay longer!!! We booked VERY last minute and the hosts were very accommodating and made it a smooth process for us. It was wonderful for our dogs with the gated play yard in the back and the porch that closed in as well as the waste bags, towels for their feet etc. everything was thought of and provided that you would need!! It was very clean and well organized, conveniently located only being 10-15 min drive to Asheville and about 5 min from the Blue Ridge Parkway entrance. The grocery store is right down the road with a bunch of restaurants as well. We will definitely be back!!!
The house is well maintained. The appliances, heat and air conditioning work as expected. The bed and pillows were quite comfortable. It would have been nice if there was access to extra towels, both bath and kitchen. And a light with indoor switch for the fenced yard would be nice too. Operating the television was a bit of a challenge. The written instructions did not explain what to do if you touched the wrong button. Being located near a supermarket is a big plus. And there is easy access to the interstate highway from this location
This cabin offered our family the perfect long weekend getaway in beautiful Asheville. We brought our dog, Sweet Pea, along for the trip, and this home away from home was great for all of us. It is in a quiet, semi-secluded part of town that feels more like the country, which only added to the charm. We will definitely consider staying here again, especially with our furry family member in tow!
Stayed here for a calm girls weekend and it was perfect. The house was clean, the property was beautiful! I wouldn't change anything.
We spent 7 days in Asheville and the house was perfec as describe, very quiet, greatly located, extremely clean, very comfortable bed and pillow. Perfect house for any vacation in Asheville. We really enjoyed our stay. We'll be back next year. Highly recommended
This rental was exactly what we were expecting, and worked well for us. The place is very clean and modern, the beds were comfortable, and everything worked. It looks like a great place for dogs, but we didn't have any. We were visiting friends nearby and this was our quiet getaway at the end of busy days. It was quiet and surrounded by trees turning autumn colors.
This was one of the best vacation rentals I have stayed in! There are many wonderful upgrades to the home including extra thick towels! The fenced in yard was perfect for my 2 dogs. The peace you feel sitting on the front deck overlooking the pond is amazing yet you are only 15 minutes from downtown Asheville! The owners are there if you need anything yet they also respect your privacy. I would definitely stay here again!
Very nice cabin in a quiet neighborhood away from the sounds of the city, but close enough to all attractions. My family stayed for the Fourth of July weekend and enjoyed this place. It has comfortable beds, a well stocked kitchen and a washer dryer on site. The owners left supplies for coffee and for laundry. There is an Ingles Grocery very convenient to the cabin. Would rent again if we retur. To this area.
We were looking for a nice dog friendly rental in the Asheville area, as we wanted to get away to the mountains. This place was as advertised, and everything seemed to be new or updated. We made use of the full kitchen to prepare breakfast daily, and enjoyed eating on the deck. There was more than enough space in this home for my husband and dog. It was centrally located, which allowed us to access the mountains and downtown. We had a blast on our trip, and enjoyed our stay at this affordable rental!
I was looking for someplace to get away and do some writing, hiking and relaxing with my dog in for a week and this place was just perfect. The house was recently remodeled and the rooms were small and simple but well-appointed with everything you could need, including complimentary toiletries. The living room was comfortable for reading and relaxing and I loved sitting out on the deck overlooking the pond and fountains and watching the geese. The fenced side yard was perfect for letting my dog out to do his business without have to leash him up everytime and the owner provided poop bags for easy cleanup. Located less than 10 minutes from downtown Asheville and 5 minutes from a large grocery store and gas station, it was super easy to get to everything I needed and the owners could not have been more lovely. They are just across the pond if you need anything and invited us to use their larger lawn for my dog to play fetch (the side yard is not really an ideal play area). Beautiful waterfall hikes were less than an hour away and we had a great week in the mountains. Many places I looked at did not have near the same qualities at a higher cost - this was an excellent choice, despite the fact that it was newly listed and had no reviews. Doing my best to change that. I'm so glad I listened to my instincts and took a chance. Well worth it and I would stay there again.
We have been coming to Asheville for several years and always stay at a hotel. Every year the prices of the hotels goes up. We finally decided to check out vacation rentals never having done this before. We found this place which was less expensive than the Best Western where we were going to stay. Very nervous we booked it. We arrived and found this lovely cottage sitting right on the edge of this beautiful pond. Went inside and found the rental to be way better than what the pictures showed. Everything looked new and the rental was beautifully furnished. Can't believe we paid less for this place than a hotel room with two beds and a crappy breakfast. Every morning we drank our coffee on the deck in complete privacy and just enjoyed the view and wildlife. We will be back every year.
This property will meet the needs of many. We personally, needed peace and quiet, and a close proximity to all the amenities Asheville has to offer. We also needed good connectivity and cable/Netflix, etc. for business reasons and relaxation. The property is quiet and overlooks a pond with a lighted fountain in the evening. It has a well outfitted kitchen, and a gas grill, so we could do take out or cook in. It would service a family or friends get away very well...two bathrooms, three bedrooms and a large shady porch. We appreciated that the rental was pet friendly while also being very clean. This is an extremely well managed property and the owners have thought of everything.
What a find in Asheville for travelers with 4-legged family. The small fenced area serves its purpose along with the gated deck, & the neighborhood has a safe walking area. The home is spotless, well appointed (as are the lovely grounds). This is a quiet spot yet you are close to everything. I won't be back because I just bought a home...YAY...but I have recommended you to my realtor for other long distance house hunters. Thank you so much! What a bargain for an Asheville stay!
we stayed at the property for 7 nights and found our accommodations very comfortable, clean and enjoyable. Location was convenient to downtown Asheville (10 min) and surrounding towns. Beds and mattresses were comfortable, bathrooms worked well; showers had good pressure and the area was quiet. We are light sleepers and are sensitive to unpleasant smells etc, but the house smelled very nice, no dampness or musky odors, everything is clean and modern. The kitchen had all the necessities. The only thing we found a little irksome was the noise and the air coming from vents when the heat pump went on. But this was a minor inconvenience. All and all we had a great stay.
My boyfriend and our dog along with another couple stayed at this house for our vacation to Asheville. It was in a great location, 15 minutes from downtown Asheville and right near the Blue Ridge Parkway entrance. We were able to go hiking during the day and drive along the Blue Ridge Parkway, and go out on downtown Asheville at night. We went hiking as far north as Grandfather Mountain and as far south as Dupont State Park. The fenced in yard was ideal for our Labrador. We finished our nights off with a firepit amass making smores! We easily could have had a 3rd couple stay and still all for comfortably. I highly recommend this place and would love to return in the future!
