Accommodations were perfect for our 6 adults, 1 child, and 2 dogs. The kitchen was stocked, the use of the washer/dryer was very helpful, and everything was so beautifully decorated for the holidays. The French press was a very nice touch , but a nice addition would be a large pot coffee maker for big groups. The office’s deluxe air mattress was perfect for our 7 year old, but we weren’t clear on the accommodations in that room until we checked. We will stay here again when visiting family in the Austin area.
Only downside, would have been nice to have more lighting in the main house. Beds where very comfortable. Enjoyed our stay. Host was very accommodating when needed.
The house was clean and well maintained, with a lot of nice features for staying multiple days. We got a lot of use out of the fully stocked kitchen and gas grill. Leslie checked in with us via text after we arrived and was responsive when we had questions. Would definitely recommend.
The house was beautiful and spacious. We needed a place to stay while our house was being remodeled after some recent flooding and the landlord was exceptionally helpful and welcoming. Even after several changes to our itenerary, she was cooperative and worked to ensure we were taken care of. The location was super convenient for me to get to work (downtown) and my daughter to get to school (north austin). I would recommend this house to anyone visiting Austin or just looking for a nice change of scenery.
This rental is located in a quiet neighborhood with easy access to downtown Austin. It was stocked with all the basics and then some. The beds were comfy and there was enough seating at the table and in the living room for 6+. The owner was very helpful in suggesting things to do and places to eat. I would definitely recommend this rental for couples and families.
Our family was coming to Austin from out of town for Christmas, and we needed a house that was big enough to fit all of us comfortably while we cooked, opened presents, etc. Leslie's house was fantastic! The living and dining areas were very large and open, which gave us plenty of room. It also had a very large, comfortable couch, which was essential for when we had everyone in one space. There were 3 bedrooms with beds, and one large office where we put a blowup mattress. I would say that two small children could even sleep on the couch, if they wanted. The backyard was large and open, perfect for the kids to run around in. It was also unseasonably warm for Christmas, so we were able to hang outside for a bit, too. Leslie was very warm and inviting, and she gave great customer service. Also, this house was in a great location--we didn't want to stay downtown, but we didn't want to be too far away either. I would definitely recommend this house to a friend that wanted a house that was big enough for several couples or families. Thanks, Leslie!!
