NICE CLEAN QUITE A+
When I made reservations, I didn't know that this house was 4 minutes from my brother's house. My first i
Emily was great. She took care of everything for us and was very friendly. The home is set back in a beautiful neighborhood and it’s very peaceful and quite. Highly recommended this property.
We found this place to be ideal for our needs. Clea, larger than we thought it would be and comfortable like being in our own home. Great place if you want to get away from it all and just relax
The home is located in a nice, quiet neighborhood. It was clean and comfortable. I did leave a list of suggestions for the owner for it to be better for any future guests. Any issues were resolved by the owner. Really liked the library and piano. Had plenty of room. Would stay there again.
Quaint home close to everything.
Decent location. Our privacy was interrupted 3 times in the 4 day stay by the Host. Cleaning could have been better (dirty knife in floor in kitchen) a bunch of little black hairs on master bath floor. Not suitable for small children. Good for just a quiet get away.
This is a really charming home in quiet and safe neighborhood. We loved the hard wood floor throughout. We wished if we had more time to enjoy the warm and cozy sun room and the deck with fabulous view. If we are in the area, we will definitely come back!
We had a great stay. The area was very quite and restful. One morning I was reading on the back deck when two young deer came into the yard. Watched them for about 30 minutes while they ate leaves off the trees. The only thing the property needs is a smart TV. Will go back next time in TN.
We stayed here for a long weekend when my daughter graduated from TTU. It was the perfect house to enjoy some family together time! We most definitely enjoyed our stay and Emily was an awesome host.
We were in the area visiting family that we hadn’t seen in a while and the location was perfect. The property was just as described. Nice large back deck to sit and enjoy the outdoors. Everything was clean and plenty of space.
I've been staying here on and off for a few months, and the property has met all my needs. Its a quick commute into Cookeville where I've been working, and good base for trips to Nashville and overnights to Smokey Mountain Natl Park. There's local hiking, and the neighborhood is quiet if you just want to get some exercise and go for a walk. Spent many mornings working out in the enclosed porch, and many evenings grilling on the back deck. Emily, our host, was great, and quick to respond to any of my inquires. I'll stay here again when I'm in the area.
Great little house. Plenty of outdoor activities for the family.
Only minor issues of non working/security issues to which I made owner aware. We would go back!
Beautiful home in a quiet neighborhood. Not to far from major stores or restaurants but far enough to get some peace and quiet.
With just a few updates with kitchen dishes And cooking supplies, sunroom and deck furniture, the rental will be a superior find. Neighbor hood is very quiet, safe, and convenient to Cookeville dining.
Very clean and peaceful. The home has historic charm with the furniture and the many many books. I am a Christian and felt at home. The Bible in the siblings room and the picture book of the varela family in Jerusalem was very interesting. Sitting on the deck I was visited by a hummingbird and a cool lizard. We were very close to state parks and visited Burgess Falls and Cummins Falls. I would stay again if traveling through. Laura
Wonderful property in a nice quiet neighborhood. Good location minutes from downtown, shopping, college, and golfing. The beds were comfortable and the vintage decor really unique!
It was a nice house. It was clean and had everything we needed. Although, the kids were bored without a T.V. it was nice to get to spend time with them, without them being distracted. The sunroom was an added bonus.
It was really enjoyable reading about the history of the house. Looked through the books, the paintings throughout the house and the music. Quiet neighborhood. Overall great experience. Might do good to have non-slip surface in bottom of tubs and grab bars for those that are not as steady on their feet. We hope to be able to stay again.
Large and spacious home comfy and very pleased with our stay will return
Perfect for our needs. We would rent again if we returned to Cookeville.
