This location worked nicely for us. We were not familiar with Atlanta at all. It was located in a residential area, just a block and a half from Peachtree St which had many dining options and lots of pedestrian traffic, in large part due to close proximity to a university. We walked to dinner each evening, to the Margaret Mitchell House and the MARTA Midtown subway station. The apartment is very nice. It's above a garage, and has it's own parking space, although we didn't know that initially because we never received email instructions from the host, so we almost got a parking ticket while trying to find someone to let us in. Fortunately someone was home and I was able to move our car before the officer wrote the ticket. Bonus: On the second night we discovered the apartment did have a microwave -- it's under one end of the island counter.
My daughter and her dog stayed at this property for an extended time for an internship in Atlanta. We wanted a location in Midtown that was safe and had off-street parking, which this guesthouse was perfect for. The parking is gated, and the owner supplies you with a clicker and gate code. The property was clean, quiet, and within walking distance of many restaurants and Piedmont Park. There were spaces available surrounding the area for her to take her dog out. The owners were very responsive and fulfilled her requests. If you're looking for a place to stay in the heart of Midtown Atlanta, look no further!
The property was exactly as described. The location was convenient to the places we visited (aquarium, zoo, Six Flags). Proximity to stores like Trader Joe’s, Target and IKEA was great. The neighborhood was very walkable with gorgeous old homes and trees. The only trouble I had was getting the dog to focus on going potty on our walks instead of being distracted by all the squirrels and all the other people with their dogs walking. The dedicated parking spot next to the property and behind a gate was very nice.
We will define returning. The location was fantastic and the owners provided all necessary info as anticipated.
I had a great stay here! The location was close to restaurants and cute streets to walk the dog through. Felt very safe and the gating parking was a plus! I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others.
We moved from LA and it was too hard to try to find a home remotely so we have ourselves a month in this VRBO to get settled in Atlanta. The owners were so accommodating to our needs (showing up outside the check-in window, little kids, etc.). The place was perfectly laid out for our family and never felt tight. It's convenient to everything. We accidently mixed their towels with ours and been meaning to return them but they haven't said a peep. Really kind people and we'll return the towels soon.
I stayed here for a month while looking for more permanent housing here, and it was an amazing month because of it. You can walk to nearly anything you want, but the apartment is so nice you could stay inside all day as well. Any amenities you could need are provided. I will be recommending this spot to family or friends that come to visit.
My husband and I greatly enjoyed our stay at this property in Midtown. It was very clean, and nicely updated. This property is short walk from restaurants, stores, Piedmont park, and more. The queen bed was comfortable although the wood framing around it took a bit to get used to. We appreciated that the unit had a nice washer and dryer off the kitchen, and enjoyed the snacks the owners provided upon arrival. We can whole hearted recommend this property, and would certainly try to stay there again when we return to Atlanta.
This is a great location if you want to be near the park and restaurants/shops. However, be aware that you will hear all the street noise, the garage door opening, people in the alley, etc. The unit has a great layout and lots of room. I especially appreciated the laundry room, coffee maker, and private parking. The dresser in the bedroom was missing, which was a bummer, but they added a desk which was great for working. The stairs to the place are a little uneven, so need to be careful. Overall, great place to stay.
Place is as described. Great location and neighborhood to walk around. The only thing I want to suggest is maybe put a small bedside lamp on the bed. Owners are close by for any help needed.
My family and I stayed at Meghan's place and had a wonderful time. Location was amazing as it was within walking distance to alot of nice coffee shops and restaurants. You also get your own private parking spot which is a bonus for the area. We loved the fully equipped kitchen and the washer and dryer in the unit as we have young children with us. Meghan was super generous with lending us her double stroller so that we don't have to rent it. We would definitely stay here again if we ever come back to Atlanta. Thanks Meghan!
