Disappointed that there was no coffee or any kind of condiments besides salt and pepper. Weird
We had a nice time the dock needs repair and there were lots of bees...also the place need a dish rack and a new bed in the master bedroom very hard and bedframe makes a TON of noise....in both rooms...also.the driveway is VERY steep and the owner should cut back the hegdges so that it is safer to exit the driveway Overall we love this place great location and sunsets for sure
We were happily surprised that the home was incredibly spacious. The kitchen had all the necessities, as we did a lot of cooking. The back porch with views of lake and fire pit with Adirondack chairs got a lot of use from our group. There is a frequent visitor, a beautiful and very friendly cat, who lets himself into the home if you aren’t looking, and let all the kids feed, pet, hug and carry it around. Our only complaint was that the dock was in really bad and dangerous shape. We loved kayaking in the bay in front of the house but the dock was unusable.
It was a great place!!!
Comfortable house. We enjoyed
Cottage is nicely remodeled inside, for it’s age. Amenities for kitchen were there but at a minimum. There wasn’t even a dishrag to wipe counters & the kitchen table. Bathroom & kitchen were clean but floors were not even vacuumed. There were dead insects in multiple rooms. Master bedroom was good but bunk bed in 2nd bedroom was horrible; mattress was comfortable but frame squealed very loadly when you get on it & with any movement at all. Who can sleep with that? Back porch view is right on lake & very nice! Location was fair. Great as far as being right on lake but pulling in & out of driveway gets an ‘F’. Driveway is very steep & completely blind to traffic on a very busy highway. Truck noise was also unpleasant during sleeping hours but we could drown most of that out with the A/C fan. Nearest town to go to a grocery store with full shopping was 10 miles in Auburn. Overall the pros outweighed the cons & we would recommend it to others but feel it was way overpriced at $700 plus per night. Interesting that your survey does not include a question of my opinion about price because that would have gotten a ‘2’ out of ‘5’.
We stayed for several weeks and really enjoyed our time here. Very clean and size worked well for us. Agree with a previous poster that it's better than the photos. Would stay again!
The pictures did not do this property justice! Super clean...tons of space and an amazing view. It was so relaxing to come back and sit on the back porch by the lake after the craziness of graduation ceremonies at Syracuse, so thank you!
My only thing to say badly is that there was no cork screw. In the middle of wine country that is a necessity.
Enjoyed our stay at the cottage Right on the water. The cottage was very convenient to so many great places. Would highly recommend.
This cottage is larger than it appears online! A spacious living room and kitchen make it family friendly, and the spot between beaches is ideal. We had an amazing stay!
We enjoyed our stay. To bad the owner lives next door. He was on our property twice when we weren’t there. There should be a law against him being able to do that, we did nothing wrong. We had words. He was a Dick
Steps from the water, beautiful sunsets and comfortable accommodations describe Sunset bay. Being right on the lake, you never need to leave but if you do there is so much close by - wineries, breweries, state parks, shopping, little towns to explore. One week just wasn’t long enough
Great
The pictures don't do it justice! Super clean and loved having the water right in the backyard. Would definitely recommend and return there!
All went very smoothly. House is very clean and as described. Do need to bring all kitchen consumables - even salt & pepper.
