This a fine cabin in a spectacular location in one of the best coves on Sheridan Lake. Quiet and peaceful with an excellent dock and boating facilities. 3 bedrooms all with comfortable queen beds, and a really nice new bathroom with rain shower etc. Comfortable furniture and big screen TV to utilize if it rained. (It did on our first night) Tough not having laundry facilities but we understand septic tanks and their limitations. Kitchen area is quite small and could use a folding prep table or something similar and some additional items for the kitchen, but nothing of concern. Would definitely stay here again!
Beautiful location and everything you need in the house although could use a little more cleaning of kitchen items. Boat use was disappointing as the oats were heavy and oar locks broken so could not use the lake. Overall really enjoyed the stay and would book again.
We had a great time at this property.
This cabin on Sheridan Lake was exactly as advertised. Location was ideal, just down the shore from the resort and a quick jaunt to access highway 24. The view was wonderful and we enjoyed our stay very much.
Our family of four and our dog absolutely loved our time relaxing at this calm cabin at sheridan lake. The cabin has everything you need and more, the neighbours were lovely! What a great place to relax and unwind, honestly the pics dont do it justice.
We loved our stay at this waterfront cottage! Was very comfortable and had everything we needed! Being lakefront was a wonderful perk!!!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this cabin ! Located in a quite cove with amazing sunsets which could be viewed from inside the cabin, on the deck, and on the dock ! The row boat was well used, as was the playhouse by the kiddos ! Our hosts were available and accommodating. We would recommend this cabin to anyone looking for a relaxing and/or playful getaway ! (p.s. We saw fish swim by the dock and jump close by, but they avoided our fishing rods - may have to come back to give it another go :)
The house was very spacious, quiet, comfortable, great neighbors, and had everything a group could need, and hoist was very informative prior to arrival. Perfect location in a beautiful calm bay, fantastic dock for the fishing boat.
Nice place for a getaway on Sheridan Lake. The cabin was comfortable and well equipped. Nice sized deck to take in the views and great dock to get on the water. Would love to return
Beautiful, spacious home on the lake. Easy access. Fully outfitted with everything you could possibly need. Clean and comfortable.
The property is easy to locate from Highway 24 and being on a secluded bay was a plus. The dock, outside seating areas, and the fire pit are wonderful. There is also an outdoor fire table, but we did not make use of this. The barbecue and large fridge were appreciated, as were the many seating areas, both inside and out. The beds and furnishing are comfortable and all the decor adds to a very cabin-y feel. The ad for the property does state that there is no dishwasher, but there is also no laundry facility on site, nor is there any A/C (for anyone who cares about that). Also, the ad states that there is internet access, but there is no wifi. There is good cell reception, so internet would come from one's own data. There is also no outdoor trash bins. All garbage must be kept inside and transported to a nearby community waste site for disposal. Also note, the entrance to the driveway is gravel and a bit steep and narrow. We were pleased with our stay and enjoyed ourselves immensely. The host, Don, is very responsive and provided a lot of valuable information beforehand. Thank you for making our vacation easy and enjoyable.
If you are looking for a no-fuss vacation, this place is it. It is clean, and has all of the basics you need to ensure a comfortable stay. The dock and water access cannot be beat. The property owners and the property management company are very responsive, and are there to help if anything is needed. We would not hesitate to stay again!
This cottage was right on the lake (private) and had everything you would need (you bring own towels & linins). Great furniture for family dinners & movies. Kids really liked the play house. Could use a little TLC (few hornet nests ect) but whole family enjoyed our stay along with swimming at the dock and boating around the Bay. Thank you!
Thank you Don and Gail . The waterfront location is amazing for swimming and boating. We had great family time and enjoyed the rustic cabin atmosphere..
Absolutely stunning dock and balconys to sit and enjoy your day away . Kids loved jumping off dock . Seen lots of wild life . Was a incredibly peaceful vacation !
We all had a great time at the cabin. It was well appointed and comfortable. The wood stove was fantastic and appreciated on a few rainy days. Definitely worth a second visit!
Cabin was clean and had everything we needed. Great dock and lake access. Weather was a little cold so didn't spend a lot of time outside (when not on the water). It was nice having the wood burning fireplace inside and the TV/Satellite.
