Great place. Had plenty of room to relax. Sunporch area was perfect for kids to play and watch tv separate from adults. Enjoyed the lake view. Would definitely book it again.
Absolutely lovely place, very homey, lots of room, well furnished kitchen. plenty of bedrooms. Yes it is an older home, BUT could not ask for a nicer place to stay, visit and enjoy the time together with the family. And did i mention the veiw? Even though the weather was cold the home was toasty warm and inviting. Loved the enclosed side porch/sun room.
This is an excellent choice for families with pets. Plenty of sleep space and beautiful location.
Nice place but needed a deep cleaning. No tv remotes. Bathroom sink clogged.
Had a great experience at the property, lots of sleeping space and privacy for your teens. Property is clean, the neighbors are friendly and very nice. Neighborhood is clean and quiet. Definitely would stay again.
House was clean and comfortable. Kitchen was well equipped. Property manager was quick to respond to any concerns. We brought our little sunfish sailboat and did some sailing and swimming on the lake. There are lots of bedrooms in this house but we only used 3. A bit of an odd layout with a sliding glass door and two curtains separating two of the bedrooms but we were fine with it. Lots of space inside. The weather was so nice so we mostly stayed out on the deck. The yard is huge but parking is very limited. Not sure how you can fill all those beds and find a place for everyone to park. Looks like three cars max would fit. We only had two.
The stay was enjoyable, the house was clean and had lots of sleep space. Would definitely stay again, the neighbors were friendly and made the stay that much better. Lovely view, and relaxing stay.
The house was very nice, however the A/C being out to 2/3s of the house the first couple of days made part of the house very warm. The tv's didn't work when we got there however a relative of the owner was on it the following morning and made sure everything was up and running, including getting the AC repairs called in. I was a bit concerned about the railings on the deck, they are not good for small kids or pets. Overall this place was fantastic and we will be back next year
We had a great week at this rental. Furniture was comfortable, bathrooms were nice, kitchen and dining area was good. We enjoyed the porch and the stars were beautiful. The lake access was great for swimming, kayaking and the dogs loved it. Disappointed that the dock in the picture does not belong to the house. The AC was not working properly on the sun porch or in the bedroom off of the sun porch - neither cooled off during the day. It can be a little noisy at times being close to the road. Overall it was an enjoyable stay.
This home is clean and comfortable. The air conditioning works very well, the beds are comfortable, and the porch is an enjoyable place to hang out! The view is amazing! Loved watching the water birds with their young.
This rental is perfect for resting after a long day on the lake, mountain biking at Jack Rabbit or just hiking. The home sits VERY close to the road and speed of cars on the road is fast. Just know for future guests that noise is a sensitivity. The beds are listed as queen beds. However, they appear to be doubles. The house definitely could use some TLC and a nice deep clean. The railings on the back deck run parallel vs horizontal which is concerning for a small child placing head through railings and falling. Overall, it is a nice place for those looking to spend a lot of times outdoors enjoying the beautiful property and lake.
Would definitely rent again!
We absolutely loved our stay. The house was super cute and charming. It felt like you were walking into a family members home. The cabinets were stocked with pots, pans, cups, mugs, and silverware. There was also items provided in case you forgot (like coffee, tea, etc.) The property had lake access in the back and we took full advantage with our kayaks. It was a little chilly on the lake, but it was still fun. The property was also close to several hiking spots that we also ventured to. The town is super cute and every restaurant we went to was amazing. We highly recommend and will be back for sure!
We enjoyed our stay. We had a pleasant stay. The home is old and has many areas that need repair, however, that did not keep us from having a nice stay.
