    Super happy with our stay

The cabin had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Ideal location for us: close to what we wanted to see, enough to do right there on the couple of days we were low energy and wanted to do something no fuss. Jodi was quick, helpful and responsive to all questions from prebooking, during out stay, and at checkout. Super comfortable for our little family and our small dog. We hope to come back another time brand bring some extended family with us. Truely a beautiful setting. So glad we got to spend some time there. Thanks!

We enjoyed our stay very much. The Cottage/Cabin was extremely clean and had everything we needed. We especially liked that there was a park a few houses down the street. Also, we loved that there was no TV!

Wonderful place to stay. Only comment I would make is it was dusty. Did not appear anyone used a dust cloth. For allergy suffers that is a big deal!

    Cozy cabin, nice beach access.

We really enjoyed our stay with our 3 year old and another family of 3. The views of the lake and sunset couldn’t be beat. It’s a short walk down to the water which we loved because we could stop at the frog pond on the way down. The lakefront space is lovely with shallow water for kids to play and a nice fire pit right on the water. The cabin had everything we needed for a basic stay. The beds were comfortable, clean and had everything they needed. The kitchen has a toaster, coffee maker and basic utensils and cooking equipment. Recommend bringing your own nonstick pan. Bring plenty of towels because linens are not included and a rope for a drying rack - perfect trees outside for it. The cabin is basic, but does the trick with a stand up shower. We did have trouble with fruit flies and saw a mouse. The screen door may just need some basic maintenance. Overall a great experience in a simple easy going cabin.

Cottage was as advertised, clean and comfortable, access to dock was great, we used it everyday. We would definitely rent again, and we are already looking at next year.

    Awesome cabin

An awesome cabin that served its purpose. It was comfortable. We spent most of our time down on the dock! Clear water and sandy bottom was the best. We biked, kayaked, and climbed the dunes. My only complaint was cabin was dark could use some updated lighting. Could also use more cooking gear. Other than that everything was great.

    Misleading

Overall the place was just OK not like the pictures show it’s merely a small cabin behind a large house no view of the lake . Had some issues with bugs

    A thank you.

Fine cottage in the style of earlier years. Nothing lacking unless you are determined to live in the style you already find at home. Lots of shade on the lot and a good beach with dock and provisions for fires. (suggestions, fix all screens tight against bugs and make sure the light fixture in bath and all lamps are without flicker). This cottage is much than we expected to find and close to the Park on Dunn's farm road, the Ice Cream joint and the french style restaurant. Thanks.

Cabin was very clean, well-appointed, and perfect for our needs. The location cannot be beat. Glen Lake is gorgeous; sunset views from the dock are amazing, and the shallowness of the water surrounding the dock make this a perfect location for young families. Owner is very responsive to questions and helpful with recommendations. We would love to come back!

Our family of 5 had a wonderful vacation staying at this cottage. It was just enough space for us and grounds were beautiful. The 2nd bedroom fit all 3 of our kids. I'll be honest, I was a little nervous about no TV or air... but we were thankful and kept our kids busy with board games, swimming in the lake, sunsets on the dock and relaxing. The evenings cooled down and with the open windows the air was not needed. Jodie was amazing and very attentive with questions. Already looking to book this place next year! Great location on Glen Lake.

Clean and neat. Perfect size. There were 4-5 of us. Great location.

My family and I rented one of the back cottages and loved it. There were four adults and one 4 month old baby in our group. The two bedroom cottage was small but had plenty of space for the five of us. Although you could not see the lake from the cottage, it was a very short walk just around the front house and down about 10 steps to beautiful Glen Lake. The doc was very nice and had chairs at the end of it. There was also a nice fire pit with comfortable chairs. Sunsets were beautiful! Pros: - location - it was only about 10 minutes to downtown Glen Arbor and very close to the Sleeping Bear Dunes National Park - the queen and full size beds were fairly comfortable (we didn't try the pullout couch so I can't comment on that) - shower had plenty of hot water - four of us showered one after the other and never ran out - Jodie, the property manager, was so easy to work with throughout booking and during/after our stay - beautiful wooded property that was well maintained - affordable - clean - accepts pets - coffee pot Cons: - bunk beds were pretty uncomfortable (older, thin, spring mattresses) - would probably be ok for kids but my husband slept on the bottom bunk and it was rough for him. - shower is small (but clean and as mentioned above, lots of hot water) - kitchen was only equipped with a few small pots and pans, enough to cook for a few people but not for a larger meal, cooking utensils were very flimsy (not really a huge deal though), no tupperware or containers for leftovers (we ended up just using plastic zip lock bags) Overall, our stay was excellent and I would definitely recommend the property to others.

    Wonderful cottage!

One of the most beautiful lakes in Michigan and well worth the drive. The cottage sits above it with just a short walk to the large dock. Jodie was great to rent from. If ever there was a problem, she was right on top of it. The place is quiet, with comfortable beds and a well stocked kitchen with plenty of cookware and glasses. Dogs are welcome, which is always a deal breaker!! Sunsets are gorgeous. This was my second stay, and will likely plan a third.

My entire family loved this vacation. We have a 1 year old and a 4 year old. We spent time each day on the beach and dock right outside of the cottage we rented. We spent a lot of time at Sleeping Bear Dunes and Empire, MI which is a very short drive away. This location is perfect for biking, hiking, kayaking, canoeing or simply relaxing by the lake. We rented 2 cottages on this property and both were very well kept, clean and cozy. Having a washer and dryer was extremely convenient. There is also a park a block away that the kids loved as well as a small market a couple of blocks away with ice cream, snacks, etc. We didn't want to leave and are definitely doing this again next year! We appreciated Jodie who managed our rentals. She grew up in this area and knows anything and everything about it. She was very helpful before, during and after our stay.
