This award-winning, one bedroom home was built with attention to detail. From the Corian counters to the radiant heated wood floors, this is truly an oasis. The full kitchen provides plenty of space and opportunity to prepare your own meals. The new queen bed with luxurious linens, provides a wonderful night's sleep. Its location in the historic district, across the Boulevard from the library, it right where you want to be. This central downtown location is just a couple of blocks from all the theaters, and Ashland’s excellent restaurants.

5 star property
Beautiful and peaceful place to stay. The owners are so kind and helpful and the property was perfectly clean and new looking. Will definitely stay there again!

This property is really well done with everything that you need for a great vacation. Ten stars!
We absolutely enjoyed our stay. Hanna’s House is perfect in every way and we totally enjoyed the hosts’ company. Such a fun weekend for us, although too short.
The cutest place in a great location for an excellent price. Sarah is very responsive and helpful. She lives in the main house on the property, which is within spitting distance of the cottage.
We had a wonderful stay and can’t wait to return. Thanks Sarah and Shady!
We love the clean and fresh feel of this little house. You are a block or two from downtown and walking Lithia Park was gorgeous. We needed lots of rest from a long trip and we were comfortable just hanging out.
Hanna's House is a lovely place to stay in Ashland. The house is not large, but it has been so thoughtfully designed that it includes everything you could want and it feels spacious. It was also scrupulously clean. Additionally, it is in walking distance to town, so everything is accessible. Sarah is a gracious host and I thoroughly enjoyed my stay there.
Perfect spot and great little cottage with everything you need. Owners are very thoughtful and helpful.
Hanna's House is the perfect theatre weekend getaway for us. It is a charming and cozy place within walking distance of the theatre. Sarah couldn't be more accommodating.
Hanna's House was the perfect place to stay in Ashland! Extremely well designed cottage, quiet, charming, efficient. It has everything you need to spend a few days and not need to eat out for for every meal. It was the perfect location to spend a few days catching up with my friend and to enjoy Ashlands theater's and arts.
Wonderful stay. Owner so helpful and made our visit best ever. Clean, comfortable, great location right in town but private and quiet. Beautiful design.
Everything was perfect, as usual. We stay here often and we highly recommend it to anyone who want a clean, quiet place that is an easy walk to plays and downtown.
The property owners were courteous and respectful of privacy. The garden offered a relaxing atmosphere. The cottage was very welcoming and comfortable.
Very comfortable, exceeded expectations! Cupboards were filled with great stuff if you want to cook in. Olive oil, flour & sugar, coffee, spices, lots of pots & pans.
Hanna's house is wonderful. Sarah and Shady are great hosts, and the house is fully equiped and immaculate, as well as ideally located for walking to the festival and restauarants. We have stayed several times and will definitely return.
My wife and I have been guests in well over 50 properties over the past 15 years. And we’ve given many of them five stars. I can honestly say that this was the very best. The location is fantastic: just a block from downtown, four blocks from the festival and an easy walk to the Coop. The little cottage beautifully designed, maintained and furnished. The kitchen was wonderfully equipped. The hosts lovely and accessible. It was a delight!
New, clean, and hosts were fantastic. The house was VERY well appointed and ideally located with private parking. I can't think of a better place to be in Ashland when out to see shows and prepping own breakfasts. Definitely coming back if we're ever in Ashland again. Recommending to all my Shakespeare fanatic friends.
It felt like home. We couldn't have asked for more. Its location a definite plus. Would certainly recommend the place to people visiting Ashland.
We found the location and unit to be in a perfect location and was exactly what we were looking for. We will definitely come back next time we are in the area!
This is our second stay at Hannah’s House and we hope to make it an annual tradition. The place is very clean with a well stocked kitchen. It is extremely comfortable and a perfect location if you’re going to the Festival. Sarah and Shady are kind hosts and available if needed. We love this place!
We had a great time here, good location, pleasant surroundings, great owners...
This little house is a true gem in Ashland. The place was clean, very well equipped and welcoming for our visit. The location is absolutely perfect near downtown but not directly in the crowds. I thoroughly recommend this place, and we definitely will try and stay there again.
Lovely space for two: great decor, clean, roomy, well provisioned, quiet, had all the comforts of home. Helpful notes for finding and operating appliances. Convenient location to downtown and theaters. Sarah and Shady were warm and welcoming and Ollie and Annie (the pups) were cute as could be.
Hanna's house is perfectly located in downtown Ashland. Easy walking to the theater, great restaurants, and other amenities in town. The cottage is beautiful and well-stocked with everything we needed. Thanks for a great stay!
Each OSF season we visit Ashland several times & stay in a variety of places. This is a very clean, well-equipped & conveniently located cottage that we'd easily recommend to others.
Lovingly created for the owners' mom, this little home is full of thoughtful & convenient touches, both built in, and details refreshed for incoming guests. We would love staying here even if it WEREN'T an easy walk to cafes, OSF and the Co-op ... but it is! We just feel totally at home here.
Very nice cottage, easy walk downtown and to Safeway. Very clean and well appointed. Sarah and Shady are thoughtful hosts. Thumbs up!
We’ve stayed at Hanna’s House twice now and have thoroughly enjoyed it both times. The cottage is ideally located and it’s simply charming! I especially appreciated the nice little kitchen with all the necessary pots, pans and tools at hand. We hope to return again and again.
Hanna's House was lovingly designed and built by the Challmans for Sarah's mom. Set in their private back yard, it's a complete & comfortable cottage, thoughtfully furnished: comfy bed and couch, abundant towels, complete kitchen, coffee, and a bottle of wine! Sarah is a warm & gracious host, available if you need her. Ten minute walk to coffee shops, Ashland Food Co-op, OSF theatres, main street shops & restaurants. We feel lucky to have discovered Hanna's House and the Challmans - long may they flourish!
Our 3rd visit to Hanna's House was no less enjoyable than the first. Warm, comfortable and complete, this one bedroom cottage has everything you need including nearby walking access to all of downtown Ashland's delights - OSF, restaurants, clubs and shops. Sarah & Shady make it easy to live in this quiet spot. Greg & Brian
We come to Ashland once or twice per year and we always stay at Hannah’s house. We are looking forward to next year.
We have stayed in Hannah's House on several visits to Ashland. We are always warmly welcomed to the very comfortable cottage, which is bright and beautifully furnished, Sarah and Shady are excellent. We look forward to seeing them next season.
Hanna’s House wraps it’s arms around you and gives you a big hug! It exceeded every expectation. The owners thought of absolutely everything. We were looking for an accommodation where we could park the car and walk to town...and this was the perfect spot. We even asked for...and received a visit from the owner’s pet dog, Ollie. We felt very well taken care of by Sarah, Shady and Oliver.
We very much enjoyed our stay at Hanna's house. Very importantly for us, the kitchen was very complete, which allowed us to eat our breakfasts and dinners at home and save our energy for the plays. Sarah was a great hostess, who was available at all times to answer questions. We have already booked for next year.
Wonderful home! Perfect location! Lovely hosts! We will return!
Close to the theater and restaurants. Very nice accomodations. Looking forward to a return visit.
The location could not be better with an easy walk to everything, the cottage is very clean and comfortable, and Sarah and Shady take good care of their guests. Highly recommend Hanna’s House.
Staying at Hannah's House is like returning to the 'make believe' wee cottages one built as a child in some idyllic area: a charming little paradise that's all yours
This is the 3rd year when we have stayed at this comfortable, clean, well appointed rental in an excellent location for OSF theaters and Ashland restaurants and shopping. The owners are very helpful and respond quickly to any communication requests.
Hanna’s house is the perfect home to explore Ashland. It’s an easy walk to downtown, all the theaters, lithia park and Safeway. The home is stocked with everything a person could ever want. There isn’t a detail left out. It’s home away from home. Very comfortable and clean. Sarah and Shady, the owners, are very kind and helpful. We truly enjoyed our stay at the Hanna house! We highly recommend! Mike and Mary.
This was our second time at Hanna's House and we already have another planned for later this year. Convienent to all things downtown Ashland, this one bedroom cottage is a complete little home. Clean and organized space makes for a comfortable stay. Hosts Sara & Shady are easily available to answer any question or concern.
Hannah’s House is the perfect location to walk to OSF and downtown Ashland restaurants. The house is one of the best we have had the pleasure to stay in. We will stay there every time we go to Ashland and highly recommend to anyone.
We had the pleasure of staying at Hanna’s House for 5 days! Everything about it was top notch and it was only a block or so from the main downtown street. We chose to stay in a guest house so we wouldn’t have to eat every meal in restaurants, so I was pleasantly surprised at the lovely and highly functional kitchen! We’ll return!
This is a beautiful, cozy, inviting cottage next to the owners home. The owners were friendly and had great recommendations for restaurants near by. The home is within walking distance to Ashland downtown area, great restaurants and the Oregon Shakespear theatres. Also good hiking, biking and running nearby. Love this town, loved this home! Thank you Sara!
This is our second stay at Hanna's house. It is a great location if you are attending any of the plays in Ashland. Everything you need is within walking distance. The accomodations are clean, spacious, and comfortable. Sarah even left goodies for us to eat. We couldn't have asked for more.
This is a wonderful place to stay in Ashland! It's an easy walk to theaters/restaurants and for being right near Main St and that convenience, it's incredibly quiet/peaceful. The furnishings are comfy and we had pretty good luck sleeping (you know, it can be weird sleeping in a bed that isn't yours). The owner is super friendly and it shows that she tries to make the cottage feel like home. We had beer waiting for us in the fridge and even some cookies/popcorn to snack on. I will say that usually at a vacation rental, we never see the owner at all, but here, the main house is just across a little walkway in the fenced yard. Not a positive or a negative, just the layout of the property. So, if you are expecting absolute privacy, this might not be ideal. That said, it's hard to beat the location and accommodations here -- nice shower, windows with screens, ceiling fans, full kitchen (with the cutest dishwasher I've ever seen), and a comfy bed, all with being able to walk to pretty much anywhere in town (Noble Coffee is only 3 blocks away). :) We'd definitely stay again!
This little jewel of a place was a delight to stay in. It is located conveniently close to downtown but in a quiet residential area. The cottage was obviously designed with great thought and attention to detail - a luxuriously sized walk-in shower, beautiful cedar-lined closets and dresser, and a full, well-appointed kitchen. Our host Sarah was terrific - we'll be back!
We stay at Hannah's House whenever we're in Ashland. Sarah and Shady are warm and excellent hosts, the property is comfortable and central to what we like to visit in Ashland.
Very comfortable, clean, well equipped cottage close to the OSF theaters, restaurants and shopping. The owners are very helpful and responsive.
While the inside of Hanna's House is beautiful and well-kept, the owner left some nice perks (like beer!), and the location couldn't have been better in terms of what we wanted to do in Ashland, having no private outdoor space was an issue for us. True, you can see some chairs in the picture, but what you don't (or I didn't!) realize is that those chairs directly face the owner's house/backyard. We felt like we were in the way. And not just in the way of the owners. There was someone there painting the owner's house and listening to a radio right outside several of the days, so even if there was room for us to hang out, we would have been right in his space and forced to listen to his radio. On the other hand, if you are totally fine staying inside with the windows closed the entire time, you will probably be more than happy with the property. Another issue was the air conditioning. During our time in Ashland it was incredibly hot, and we could not sleep without the air conditioning on. However, it is a window unit right next to the bed, and it sounded like we were in an aircraft hanger while the a/c was working. To sum up: the cottage itself is beautiful and well-appointed, the location is awesome, but we felt as if we didn't have our own outdoor space and did not get a good night's sleep due to the loudness of the a/c (and I'm talking six nights in a row). Perhaps a winter visit would be better for this property.
This is our 2nd time staying at Hanna's House. It is right downtown just steps away from EVERYTHING! We love having our own little house--living room, bedroom, full kitchen. It's all new and clean with many nice touches. They include coffee and a coffee maker, a few snacks, nice comfy bed with good linens. We bought yummy pastries at the bakery up the street the night before so we could enjoy our morning coffee before getting dressed and heading out. They even have blankets you can take with you to the outdoor theatre on chilly nights. The only drawback is there is no private outdoor area, just a couple of chairs sitting facing the main house. But that isn't a big deal. We will definitely be back on our next trip to Ashland.
My mother and I stayed at Hanna's House in July for the Shakespeare Festival. Everything about Hanna's House was absolutely perfect. The home itself was spacious and equipped with everything we could possibly need, including blankets to bring to the outdoor theatre and more than enough towels for both of us. Everything was very clean and well-maintained. My favorite thing at Hanna's House was a binder that included so much useful information about the house and about nearby places to eat and drink. There were even menus to all the places so we could decide exactly what we wanted before going out! The best part about Hanna's House was definitely the location. We walked everywhere during our stay - to food, shops, and the theatre - all very close to the house. Sarah and her husband were also very kind and hospitable. They left us a welcome basket with some lovely treats, and their dogs were adorably welcoming as well. I would definitely recommend Hanna's House to anyone traveling to Ashland.
Perfect location, easy walking distance to downtown, plays, eateries, shopping, Lithia Park, everything! Cottage was beautiful, fully equipped and quite.
This is the second time we've stayed at Hannah's House and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The home is cheerful, comfortable and spotless. Sarah is attentive to those special little touches that make us feel welcome and at home. We will definitely return for future stays.
This is a charming and cozy cottage, which is walkable distance to everything in downtown Ashland. The cottage is well-built and practical, yet tastefully arranged. The location was a perfect spot for us to set off exploring the mountains, scenery, and birds of Southern Oregon. We also enjoyed simply hanging out on the porch reading and sipping beverages.
We enjoyed our stay at Hanna's House which is comfortable, well equipped with thoughtful touches, and very clean. It is a few minutes walk to the theaters, restaurants, and shopping. The owners are very responsive to any inquiries.
We have stayed at Hanna's House several times now and it is now our official home away from home in Ashland. I can't imagine staying anywhere else. Immaculate, cozy and restful. It's a short walk to the plays, restaurant and our fav, the food coop. Highly recommended!
We will return. Great location and can walk to all theaters. Very comfortable setting. Just like home, well almost.
Hanna's House is truly a home away from home. We barely used our car because groceries, shopping, restaurants, and Lithia Park are all a pleasurable walking distance. Sarah and her two four-legged companions are great hosts and made certain we had everything we needed. We will definitely be back.
hanna's house is located close to everything. it is clean and comfortable. sarah is relaxed and nice. the experience was just right!
This property is laid out so well. Every detail is thought of. You can easily not use your car and walk all over Ashland. So clean and everything you need to make your stay perfect.
Sweet and helpful hosts
A perfect jewel of a cottage with Sarah and Shady taking the prize for the best hosts/friends one could meet and connect with on a journey! They were so great to chat with yet completely respectful of guest privacy. Sarah has thought of almost everything - you truly felt like you were home. The decor, comfy furnishings and beautiful home construction are top-of-the-line. The kitchen was a dream kitchen with pretty much anything you needed to cook a full meal (maybe another pyrex baking dish?). The living room was comfy with good Wifi - no real TV reception so Wifi would allow you to stream content. Bathroom is a dream come true - spacious, modern, spotless, with an awesome shower. The bedroom was also comfy and spacious with plenty of storage space for clothes. I'm a light sleeper and the bedroom windows had the honeycomb room-blackout shades - perfect. Sarah and I were able to come up with an option to cover the glass french doors to keep out the light and it worked great. The bed was soft and lumpy - a bit uncomfortable for me. Literally just steps from the main artery in Ashland, I was able to walk to the theater, hike in Lithia Park and explore downtown Ashland, keeping my car parked unless I left town. As a light sleeper (even with the great windows), the downside to being so close to the central streets is that car traffic is steady/noisy till around 11:30pm, starting up again around 7:30am with weekend traffic noise contuning a bit later. All in all, a great visit with wonderful hosts!
Hanna's House was the perfect little cottage within walking distance to all Ashland has to offer. Very comfortable with a well equipped kitchen, floor heating and nice ceiling fans made for a very pleasant stay. The owner's were easy to work with and were available to answer questions or to help out in any way. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone traveling alone or as a couple who would like to explore Ashland from a lovely home base.
We spent an entire week at Hanna's House and were thrilled by our time. Sarah and Shady are very conscientious and warm hosts, and they constantly checked in about our needs and our visits. Obviously, we were there to watch some theater and they enjoyed the discussions. We wondered if the kitchen would have everything that we wanted so we brought a couple of our own things. We were pleasantly amazed that they had more than we even thought of! It's truly a quaint retreat-like atmosphere right the heart of Ashland, and we will definitely be staying there when we return!
We spent four nights in Ashland at Hanna's House. It is a comfortable, bright, well supplied little house with the owner Sarah right across the garden. Sarah was very easy to work with from the moment I enquired about her property; and she was a lovely neighbor. The property is in a neighborhood of pretty cottages, and 100% convenient to the theaters and restaurants. We walked everywhere. When we have the opportunity to return to Ashland, I will make reserving Hanna's House a priority. Thank you Sarah and Shady.
We love staying here! Last year was our first visit and we were delighted to be able to stay here again. The cottage is fully equipped, thoughtfully appointed, and the grounds are lovely:). The location is great in that the central location allows walking or driving into downtown Ashland. Sarah is both delightful and helpful. A great place to stay!
This cottage is centrally located, within walking distance to OSF, Lithia Park, shopping, restaurants. It is beautifully appointed and comfortable. We had bikes with us, which the hosts stored on their bike racks in their locked garage. Perfect.
We are still raving to our friends about the great place we found to stay on VRBO on our recent trip to Ashland. The cottage is perfect for two, with private entrance opening onto owner's lovely garden. Sarah and her doggies welcomed us and made us feel at home immediately. The house is furnished with all necessities for your stay with a personal touch. Even treats for the dogs! We were able to park our car for the duration and walk to restaurants, shops and the theater. We hope to return in the future.
My wife and I found Hanna's House to be clean and well equipped, quiet in a garden setting. We found the location perfect for a 5 minute walk into town and to the Festival venue. Sarah was easily available, and had helpful tips for our visit, number one among them was to take blankets that she supplied specifically for the purpose, to put on our laps at the outdoor Hamlet performance. We recommend Hanna's House without reservation and would stay there again.
We stayed at Hannah’s House over Memorial Day weekend and would highly recommend it. The cottage is clean, well-appointed and very convenient to downtown. The Ashland Co-op is a short walk away. Also nearby are restaurants, coffee and a good brew-pub. Sarah was a gracious and knowledgeable hostess.
Our review echoes what is already on the site: this cottage is adorable, updated, well-maintained, pleasantly quiet and comfy. We ended up having our adult daughter with us and Sarah and Shady graciously provided bed linens and blankets so that our queen-size aerobed which we put in the living area would be comfortable. Truth be told, it was a bit crowded for three adults (but perfect for two, so we'll definitely be back by ourselves) though we certainly managed for the duration of our stay. We had occasion to cook in the kitchen and found everything we needed to do so, although the space would be a bit tight for anyone wanting to do a lot of fancy stuff. The fridge was full size and very clean, as was everything in the cottage. We really loved the design and the space utilization in the small but efficient bathroom. There was good lighting and ventilation everywhere and we appreciated the clever nighttime/daytime blinds in bathroom and bedroom. The cottage is as cute as the pictures - not the case with every VRBO/HomeAway property we've visited. Sarah and Shady were delightful hosts and we enjoyed our conversations with them. Can't wait to return! P.S. Once we parked the car, we didn't use it again at all as everything we wanted to do was within easy walking distance (and on pretty flat terrain which is not the case in some places in Ashland).
This is a great bet for any couple wanting a very well designed, comfortable cottage that's only a few minutes walk from all the downtown spots. The bed is particularly comfortable, the bathroom is great, kitchen is enjoyable to use, etc. The host, Sarah, is also very nice and helpful and strikes a good balance between being available and giving space. A fantastic bet for Ashland.
We just celebrated our 20th anniversary by going where we spent our honeymoon - Ashland! This time, we had a newborn (yes- 20 years later, we had a kid!). This was the perfect place for a couple, or even a couple with a newborn. We stayed 7 nights and enjoyed every minute. They designed the cottage to make use of space effectively, and it shows. It's super comfortable, has a full kitchen, is centrally located, and the hosts really go out of their way to ensure you have the best possible time.
This is the best of the best for two people. The cottage is super clean, elegant in décor and amenities, quiet, yet so close to town. In fact YOU ARE IN TOWN. Great for cooking in as they have all the good cooking stuff needed. NO JUNK AT ALL. Having lived in Europe several years, this place has a real European feel. I just can't see how it could be beat. The hosts are equally impressive. Thanks for a great place.
Very nice, comfortable place with all amenities. Owners were very friendly and helpful. House was clean and easy to maintain. Walking distance to all Ashland activites. Many restaurants, bakeries and coffee shops in close proximity. Day trips easily made to coast and Crater Lake NP. Ashland offers a wide range of activities for just about any interest.
We have stayed here several times and it is always such a joy to return. Sarah and Shady are the best hosts - near if you need them, but not intrusive and respectful if you desire privacy. They are a delight to talk to and make you feel like a friend. The cottage is spotless and well stocked with towels, dishes, etc. The location is excellent just off the main street and a few blocks from the theaters. I really can't add to the other reviews, except to say this is a little gem in Ashland. The secret is out.
Peaceful, beautifully decorated, every detail thought out, a place you can see yourself living in forever.
I wish we could rate this Six Stars!! Our two-night stay was perfect, in _every_ detail. It is a great value. Hanna's house is ideally located in Ashland, a few blocks from the OSF theaters, restaurants, shopping, and the town Plaza. Everything is within easy & pleasant walking distance. The cottage is charmingly decorated, and is exceptionally clean and comfortable. Every amenity we could think of was already thoughtfully provided, and then some; no detail was overlooked. The bedroom is quiet and the bed is comfortable - we slept very well. The spotless bathroom has a large shower, and plenty of fluffy towels. The well-equipped kitchen with cozy dining area makes dining-in a pleasure. The living room with its comfy couch, arm chair, and window seat was our place to relax, and read or watch TV. The vaulted ceilings make this well-designed cottage feel spacious, and there is ample room for storing suitcases, hanging clothing, and even spreading out your travel things (to re-pack or get organized). Our kind Hosts, long-time & knowledgeable Ashland residents, went out of their way to ensure we had everything we needed - they are lovely people, and their three small, friendly dogs (who do not go in Hanna's House) are a delight. There is a book explaining everything about the cottage. There are also easy notes in strategic spots to help a new visitor figure out how things work - very much appreciated, and made the stay very simple and straightforward. When we departed, our Host asked if there was anything they could do to improve the experience - a question we ordinarily could come up with at least one answer to - but in this case, we were stumped, and had to happily reply It was Perfect!
Our second time to stay at Hannah's house. Beutiful and well maintained. Friendly owners. Great location for theaters and town. Highly recommend it.
Hanna's House is a great place to stay in Ashland. The location couldn't be better, being within such easy walking of the downtown area. The owners have done a wonderful job making the house both very attractive and a comfortable place to stay. Wish we could have stayed longer.
I can confirm all the good things other reviewers have said about this cottage and would emphasize that it is indeed more attractive and comfortable than I think it looks in the pictures. Owners live in the big house and quickly attended to any problems we encountered. Location couldn't be better--easy to walk to the Shakespeare Festival and a wide array of restaurants. Highly recommended.
We stayed two nights at Hanna's House in August and had a lovely, relaxing stay. The pictures really don't do this place justice. It is supremely comfortable, with a great big bathroom and full kitchen. High end fixtures, soothing tasteful lavender color scheme in the kitchen. Queen size bed. We usually prefer a King but the bed was so comfortable that we didn't miss the extra space at all. Only a short walk to all of the plays and happenings in Ashland, we would not hesitate to stay here again. Price was definitely right! And the hosts were very gracious.
I just got back from a two night stay in Ashland to see a couple of plays. I stayed at Hanna's House and was completely satisfied. It's a very cozy studio cottage. The bed was a dream to sleep in (nice sheets - smooth as a babies bottom), kitchen well equipped for cooking, bathroom was very well appointed, ... I felt very much at home. Sarah and Shady have nailed the details. All appointments were high quality and very comfortable. You are close to theaters, restaurants, Lithia park, and night life. I didn't need my car until I left. I highly recommend the place and plan to return.
My husband and I loved our stay at Hannah's House in Ashland! It is a beautiful cottage - very spacious, lots of light, quiet, perfect location and felt like home away from home. The Shakespeare festival was only a few blocks away walking distance ~ 5-10 minute walk. It is also a few blocks away from the Food Coop which has an amazing salad bar and hot food bar for lunches. Our favorite restaurant is a little place called Pangea which serves yummy vegetarian food - soups, salads, wraps and sandwiches. The owners, Sarah and Shady, were wonderful - very welcoming, kind and helpful. She helped me find a great yoga studio which was only 2 blocks away. We also did some wine tasting nearby which was a lot of fun. They also have adorable dogs, Stevie and Crosby, who enjoy coming to visit for cookies. We will definitely stay at Hannah's House next time we travel to Ashland.
My husband and I are returning to Hanna's House again in September. We stayed in July 2012. Everything we needed and we enjoyed just parking our car and walking to the plays and restaurants. Only time we drove was to buy groceries at Safeway.
This is a marvelous cottage incorporating both great design and cozy, comfortable accommodation. One can walk to all the great Ashland restaurants and events, while leaving your car in the provided parking space. The wireless Internet offers great coverage and good speed, for tech-heads like me. The owners are great, too. They are easy-going and accommodating, adding to the quality of one's experience. I unreservedly recommend Hanna's House!
We enjoyed a wonderful 10 days at Hanna's House. This was my 50th Season at The Festival, and Hanna's Cottage was a real find. The charming cottage is beautifully furnished with comfortable furniture, luxurious linens, and a fully stocked kitchen. Outside, there are chairs and a lovely garden. Our hosts, Sarah and Shady were gracious and always helpful. The cottage is a short walk to The Festival and Lithia Park and we rarely used our car. We were absolutely thrilled with our stay at Hanna's and are looking forward to next season. Hanna's Cottage is certainly at the top of our Ashland Favorite's List!
My husband and I stayed at Hanna's house for 3 nights in August 2011 and it was wonderful. Perfect walking distance to restuarants, shops, and the shakespeare festival. And so cute! The pictures don't do it justice; its has both a charming and very high-end feel. The owners were very friendly and helpful as well. We'd definitely recommend it. We didn't want to leave!
