Kila, Montana
Our guest house was once the Kila Church. We moved it to our 340-acre ranch in 1994 and have been offering it as a vacation rental since 1995. Our guest house is a warm and friendly hideaway in the mountains. We have transformed it into a quiet haven in the woods with all of the modern amenities you require. Here you will find the ultimate in seclusion, yet we are only 12 miles from Kalispell and 1-1/4 hours from Glacier National Park. Our property includes 10 miles of trails (map provided) from flat and easy through the meadow to strenuous climbs up to awesome views. We are at the end of pavement on a county road so access is easy. Guests have access to the entire home. Our home is about 150 yards from the guest house. We have one acre of gardens and guests are welcome to enjoy them along with salad greens from the vegetable garden.
My GPS malfunctioned, so I had a little tough time finding it, a local map would have been handy. Otherwise, it's a fantastic place to stay, the place was very clean & quiet, highly recommended!
Everything about this property is perfect. I've stayed in more than a dozen VRBO properties, and there's always some little element missing - not enough coasters, no whisk, etc. We routinely purchase some item and leave it behind as our contribution. At the cabin at Full Circle Farm, we could not come up with a single item that fell into that category. Absolutely everything you could want was there, in good supply and of excellent quality. One thing that is frequently missing is sufficient lamps and a cozy spot to read. The cabin has lots of lamps, a comfy sofa and chairs, and skylights to boot. Couple that with all the windows, it's bright and breezy. But the true joy is the amazing outdoor space. The cabin has plenty of outdoor seating, a hammock, and miles of well defined and marked walking trails. The serenity is beyond description. We thought it might be inconvenient to be 15 miles from town, but we shouldn't have worried. The drive was always interesting, but our family wanted to spend all their time at our place, which minimized our trips. Thanks, Tammy and Jeff, for sharing your slice of heaven. We hope to return!
What a spectacular spot! Outdoors the trails are clearly marked and the owners thoughtfully placed chairs and picnic tables along the routes. Indoors, there is everything you could need. Lots of special touches. I know I will be back to further explore this fantastic place. Thanks for sharing your cabin!
The A Slice of Heaven property far exceeded my expectations and at a very reasonable price. The cabin, while rustic on the outside, was chock full of special amenities...like big thirsty towels, Egyptian cotton sheets, a dishwasher, washer/dryer, disposal, and beautiful, rustic antiques (creel, old-time crank telephone, wooden snowshoes, etc.) The 340 acres of woodlands and hillsides was a great place for a daily hike, on well-marked trails the owner had mapped in advance. A lot of thought and planning went into making this cabin a great vacation spot. The owners are hospitable, knowledgeable, fun people. This is an excellent place to stay!
We stayed in the cabin for four days during our trip to visit Glacier National Park. It is located about 10-15 minutes outside of Kalispell, and is a solid hour by car from Glacier. The cabin was very quiet, and there are miles of hiking trails on the property. Deer, rabbits, and lots of birds frequent the yard and trees surrounding the cabin. It was extremely well outfitted - the owners have literally thought of everything you might need during your stay. It was very clean and maintained, and they have obviously put a lot of care into the cabin. Amenities at the cabin included a DVD library, games, books for the kids, stereo, washer and dryer etc. We found our cell service to be patchy, but the owners have included a land line for local use and calling cards. They have maps of the trail system on the property. Kalispell is within easy distance for grocery shopping etc. Smith Lake is nearby, which has a paved walking/jogging path. We saw sandhill cranes there! We had a wonderful stay at the cabin - it really felt like a home away from home. I would absolutely recommend this property to others.
My wife and I have used VRBO to identify places to stay on our vacations for the past 10 years. This is the first location that has surpassed its description by the owner/managers. It is unique and comfortable and attractive! I recommend this site without reservation!
My wife and I just spent 5 wonderful days as Tammy and Jeff's guest at their little cabin in the woods. If I could give this place 10 stars I would but even that wouldn't do this little hideaway justice. A SLICE OF HEAVEN? Yes, that's exactly what this is. Trust me folks the online photos do not do this place justice. My wife and I came to Montana as we've been doing for a many years now but didn't realize that Heaven was so close. We do now. I hesitated to share these comments because my wife and I wanted to keep this secret to ourselves, but that wouldn't be fair to the rest of you. We came away with a lot of cherished memories of this place, a reluctance to leave and tons of photos. The reason why? Tammy and her husband know what it takes to make a persons dream come true. So let them help you make your dreams come true. Come visit them. You won't be sorry.
Three years ago we had the most wonderful trip to Full Circle Farm. The cabin was wonderful and that was before they added the separate bedroom. There were trails and a map for hiking right there on the Farm and the owners dog accompanied us. We left our comments in the guestbook but wanted to add a positive comment to the site. This is an awesome vacation get away!
A slice of heaven does not even come close, it is the whole pie. Tammy and Jeff have thought of everything. Especially the peace and quiet. The trails and crik were excellent and our hosts could not have been nicer. They even let us raid their salad patch all week. Even the dogs enjoyed themselves. This is truly a get away from everything and if peace and solitude are what you are looking for then this is the perfect place. I would give this one an 11 out of 10. PS Tammy, Rapid City in a day was fine, there to Brenham in one haul was just great fun! We'll tell you next time!
My stay at the Full Circle Ranch was an incredible adventure. From the first moment I arrived at the farm, I was welcomed and treated like a member of the family. When I have travelled, it is not uncommon for the actual experience to fail to live up the expectations presented. This was not the case at the Full Circle Ranch. Jeff and Tammy are the nicest people you would ever meet and will do anything to go out of their way to accommodate you during your stay. The guest cabin is incredibly spacious and comfortable. Also, their farm is a great place to hike and explore as their land contains several trails, plus a really neat creek that flows through the property. Often times, I would take a nap on the hammock just outside my cabin........the place is probably one of the most peaceful places I have visited. The scenery is also amazing as you are surrounded by mountains. I would give my highest recommendation to anyone desiring a restful, therapeutic reprive from the hustle and bustle of daily life. You will not be disappointed.
