It was noisy, no access to hot tub like ad said, none of the remotes worked, missing light bulbs in vanity, yucky marks on walls, unfinished wall repairs, noisy beds but surprisingly comfortable, if you like firm. Walls are thin and you can hear every step upstairs.
the good: -clean and comfortable -well appointed unit -great location, walking distance to lake and downtown the bad: -semi-uncomfortable and very squeaky beds -weak wifi in evening time -upstairs unit has very squeaky floors, and you can hear every squeak and footstep through the ceiling -lots of noise through windows and front door -shower curtain needs to be replaced -easy way to turn off unit heater
Staff are excellent - responsive and effective. Internet was not working, and a local person came to the unit, correctly diagnosed issue with router, and fixed it. The unit was generally clean. However, the rug was stained and is in need of cleaning or replacing; to open the refrigerator requires putting your hand between the floor and the bottom of the refrigerator, as there is no handle. Good for storing beverages but that’s about it. The beds get a “poor” rating - mattresses (I tried both) seem to have old protruding springs - horrible! Very uncomfortable and I woke up with a sore back. Would have slept on the couch but it was too short and narrow. Good location, an easy walk to Big Fork town center. I do not recommend this property.
Good
Make sure you have the door code before arriving. We didn't get one until after check-in. But once we were inside it was a clean and cozy place. It was stocked with toiletries but no kitchen items. We had a pleasant stay, perfect location near the water and just a block away from downtown. Most rentals have a little binder for guests with local tips of places to visit and restaurants, which we missed in this rental but the locals are so nice and gave us so many recommendations. Would definitely stay again, and hopeful for quieter upstairs neighbors next time.
Loved the location- corner unit- Within walking distance to downtown. Clean and not cluttered. IKEA furnishings- has kitchenware, but need to bring coffee before you stay.
