Great location! The area is secluded and in/surrounded by the most beautiful mountains. The smell of the pine trees is divine and the stream nearby is the only sound that can be heard. The property is very nice and carries the essentials. Since it is located on the 3rd floor, it does get warm inside (even though temps get in the 50s) but with the fans help cool it down. Highly recommend and we will be back!
Location was exactly what we wanted. A minutes walk from a great trailhead where the parking would fill very fast.
The house was very nice and clean and the description was accurate. Unfortunately, we arrive to the Home at 8:30 in the evening and there was no power. Mind you it was 27° in the mountains and snowed approximately 8 inches, so very cold weather for May 31. I had a hard time getting a hold of the property owner but finally was able to and he informed me that there was to be a scheduled power outage for quite a few hours over the night, he did not make us aware of this stating he only found out a few hours before. We could’ve received a call or an email but no communication had happened. When we called the power went out
Had a great time staying in this unit over the weekend. For those looking for more of a remote experience and to explore the Saint Mary's area this is a good choice. The unit is located 20mins from Idaho Springs and significantly higher in elevation. Be prepared for the weather to be totally different in the Saint Mary's location compared to Idaho Springs. In our case it was in the 40's and snowy at this property and near 20 degree warmer and sunny in Idaho Springs.
Very nice, clean quiet place to stay, thanks!
Overall great experience at the unit. Coffee was provided and appreciated in addition to condiments. The location is remote outside of Idaho Springs. I will mention that the previous comments about the bed are accurate. It is noisy and uncomfortable. A $100 mattress foam mattress topper would make a world of difference.
This property is the perfect quick getaway for a weekend near Idaho Springs. We traveled to Keystone and Breckinridge with no issues. The living arrangements were great! Very clean and had the house stocked with all the essentials. I’m from NJ, only recommendation would be a humidifier for us not used to the dry air, would make sleeping easier! Would stay again.
The studio was good for our short stay, kitchen ghad oil some spices sugar so we could make breakfast,
Everything was great. Lots of great storage to get your things out of the way. Plenty warm. Comfortable, and comfortable living room seating to watch the games!
Had a great time. Good location.
Everything went smoothly. We had no issues. I would recommend more pillows/blankets and dinnerware.
Really enjoyed the property. The condo was very comfortable and clean. Enjoyed sitting around so much it was hard to get motivated to get out and about. The directions were great, even after a delayed flight easily found the property in the dark. Definitely recommend this property. And the area around it is amazing. Thanks so much for having me!
We have been coming to Colorado multiple times a year from Cincinnati and wanted to stay farther from the cities this trip. This was a fantastic location in St. Mary's! Only about an 18 minute drive down the mountain to get to Idaho Springs where you can find great restaurants, bars and shopping. We are big hikers and never had to drive to any trails while staying at this property. There are multiple trailheads within a very short walk right outside your door including St Mary's Glacier which was a beautiful hike. The condo is very clean, well kept and fully stocked. It is very quiet which is what we were hoping for except for one night where some other guests were being loud pretty late into the night. We could here every word they were saying in our bedroom which was not the fault of the rental company. Overall our stay was incredible and we didn't want to leave. We will absolutely be staying again if we decide to come back to the area. Thanks for a memorable trip!
This property was very easy to find, perfectly close to some great hikes and stocked with everything needed for a quick mountain getaway! We spent 4 nights here. I was glad to be on the top floor as we could hear some of the conversations and dogs barking in the unit below, and would have liked the carpet cleaned beforehand as we found some black dog hairs throughout that caused our allergies to flare. The refrigerator was also a little loud at night when trying to sleep so recommend ear plugs! All in all we spent most of our time exploring and this was a nice landing spot to launch from.
The property was fantastic. Just far enough away from town to be private but just close enough to be able to see the sites.

Stayed with my family of 4 and 2 dogs. Beautiful area. The stairs were a bit much for my older, larger dog. He was scared to death of them and I had to carry him up and down the first day or so. The altitude is a bit much at first but makes for some amazing weather in the summer! Property was nice and very clean. Had plenty of kitchen wares to prepare meals and had WiFi…. Was not expecting that and was a great for the kids. The road getting to property is about 6 or 7 miles up the mountain. Forgot bread for some sandwiches one day so it was about an hour to go to store in back. Would recommend getting food supplies before arrival. Only down side for my family was walking the dogs felt like running a marathon and had to keep youngest son (2 years old) inside as the porch/staircase is too dangerous for a youngster. Would stay again. Thanks
We really enjoyed our stay here. It had everything we needed. Well appointed kitchen basics even salt pepper, coffee, some spices, waher/ dryer was a big plus, pretty views, appreciated the shampoo/ Conditioner as well as shower gel in the shower/tub combo. Our daughter just moved to Idaho Springs and my Husband, I & our Son (19) came for a visit. We were very happy with this place. Only thing I'd change is mattress on queen bed in room & pull out couch could use an upgrade. (Sam's/Costco Memory Foam mattress' would be awesome ;) Oh & if fan above bed would work without light on. Other than that pretty fantastic!
Very nice place to stay I would avoid it though if you have problem with stairs. But other than that it was beautiful
We had no hot water from Wednesday to Friday night. Property mgr was very nice about the situation, considering it was the holiday. It says no smoking, but smells of smoke so we lit a candle to mask the smell. There were no napkins or Kleenex available. I think more things like that should be in the condo considering the drive to town is kind of a pain. There were also some underwear in the drawers. Also, the bed is HORRIBLE. We ended up staying in a hotel the last half of our stay. It was nice to have a kitchen.
Apartment was clean and provided everything needed for a great stay, including washer and dryer! The only negative experience was barking dogs from rented apartments in unit, however it was minimal.
