Everything was great about this property! Very clean, nicely decorated, and cozy! Wouldn’t change a thing!
I would definitely stay here again! Great location and very nice place
Nice clean and great location! Highly recommended!
very comfortable, very close to the school,
My parents stayed at the condo during their visit. The room is clean and everything is in order. It has all the kitchenware that we need, super convenient. Very nice place to recommend!
Couldn’t ask for more, wonderful!
Great place for a weekend getaway! We were in Athens for the G-Day game. The condo is comfortable, well furnished and close to both downtown and the stadium. We will definitely stay there again on our next trip to Athens!
We went to Athens for a game day weekend. The property was near the stadium, just a short drive away. The entire complex was very quiet. The interior appears to have new carpet recently. The bathroom and kitchen have been updated also. The master bed was comfortable. If you are picky about your pillows, you may want to bring your own as the pillows on the bed are memory foam. Very clean, quiet, easy to access. Rent with confidence.
I evacuated (for the hurricane) last minute and stayed in this condo for 3 nights. The experience was wonderful. The process went smoothly and was easier than I expected. The owner (Mr. Brock) is amazing and repsponds very quickly to any and all inquiries that you may have. THE INSIDE OF UNIT IS EMACULATE!!! It was stocked with pots, dishes, seasonings, towels, etc. that you may need to make your stay comfortable. The surrounding neighbors were friendly and quiet. It was just myself and my daughter and we felt very safe. The owner was aware of the storm emergencies in our area and contacted us to see if we needed to extend our stay. The condo is very close to the UGA campus...so that was a plus! Overall, my stay was excellent and I will definitely book this unit again whenever I return to Athens.
A great location for attending a Georgia football game. Nice, clean condo. Easy directions to follow for check-in and check- out. Would definitely stay again.
Great condo in great location. I would highly recommend to others looking for a stay in Athens....
Very neat and clean. Everything was in good working order. Owner was responsive to messages sent via VRBO website in advance of our stay.
I must say when I drove up and saw that the property was old, I was a little nervous but was pleasantly surprised when we got inside. Very clean and well appointed. It was perfect for what we needed which was a place to lay our weary heads after many graduation activities. I'm glad I found it and will request it again if child #2 attends UGA. Go Dawgs!
very clean. Nice outdoor pool. Close to downtown and many restaurants.
My son and I stayed here while he participated in a band program. It was wonderful to be just 3 minutes away from his venue - I could drop him off and pop back and get work done. The condo was quiet, the wi-fi was fast and the views were great. Will definitely stay again if we make it back next year!
Great condo in Stadium Village. Charlie was very helpful providing information about the facilities, all of which worked without a flaw. The condo it-selskap was very clean, well appointed with plenty of towels, kitchen equipment and a great Samsung smart TV, and the location is exactly what you think it is, super convenient to UGA and downtown Athens.
We stayed here for over a month while we were awaiting the birth of our granddaughter. It was just what we needed, clean, comfortable, and very nicely decorated. Very convenient location, not far from our daughter and son-in-law who live in Normaltown. Charlie was great in keeping us informed and everything went smoothly. Perfect experience and just what we needed!
We traveled to Athens for Labor Day weekend and to catch the Clemson/UGA football game. The condo was in a terrific location, within walking distance of both downtown and the stadium. While the complex is a bit dated, the condo itself is updated and spacious. Parking was plentiful and the instructions that the owners gave prior to our arrival were very helpful and spot-on. Due to time constraints, we were unable to enjoy the pool - but it looked inviting and clean. The only negative was that the coffee maker had a very old and moldy filter in it, so we had to clean it thoroughly before use. That being said, we would definitely return to this property and would recommend it to anyone else.
Clean as a whistle! Extremely inviting and relaxing atmosphere. Convenient location added comfort as well.
This was a great find! The area is prime or whatever brings you to Athens. There was a conference in Athens so hotels were hard to find, but when we return to Athens forget hotels, we are staying here again! Had everything we needed, very clean, and a great kitchen. Pictures don't do it full justice. Can't recommend enough! Thank you!
Property was more than expected! It was a nice place to get away from the Athens hustle and bustle yet extremely close to everything. Envelope though it has units above and below we never experienced any issue with noise. Decorations are very nice and the bed is very comfortable. Great home away from home.
This condo was such a treat to stay in. Just a couple minutes drive from downtown, the location is perfect. (And it's less than a minute from the best breakfast place in Athens - Mama's Boy.) The condo is nicely furnished and everything feels high quality. The bed was very comfortable, the bathroom appears to have been recently updated. The fixtures, shower, and tile were very nice and the water pressure was great! The apartment complex itself is pretty simple, but once inside the condo we felt warm, cozy, and at home. And the balcony is great for some quiet reading! The next time I'm in Athens I'll be looking to book this place again. We had a wonderful time there.
As a music lover I like to see shows in Athens and this is a great spot close to downtown. Its clean and very functional. It is less than a mile from the best breakfast spot in the southeast - Mama's Boy - which is an added bonus. Being a gated community adds increased security.
This decent 1-bedroom apt took me back to my college days, when I lived in flimsy, low-cost contemporary apartment complexes. (Including the Office Space interaction with neighbors -- we could hear the gentleman above us open his closet, march to the bathroom, run the water, march back etc.) I pictured this apartment in a campus neighborhood, where you could step outside for a newspaper or visit a coffee shop. Instead, it's across the river (and tracks) stuck back in a rather sketchy neighborhood with some Appalacian-looking housing and a burnt-out warehouse as neighbors. (It has locked gates for a reason, I suspect). While I'm not a champion walker, I'd say the normal gait to the stadium is 25 minutes (a huge walk-around, since the river keeps you from beelining)-- which is what it took me to walk from the library, which is at least 5 minutes closer. We really missed having wi-fi, since there was no convenient alternative (not sure where the study lounge is -- perhaps it's next to the the scary-looking, thinly stocked and dingy workout room -- not a very inviting environment). Still, we did consider our stay a success and a more comfortable alternative to an hotel, but if I were going back I'd try to find a place closer to downtown or in a more vibrant neighborhood. If you can manage, pack your own pillows (my wife, pecale sensitive, says sheets too), unless you like sleeping with your head on sofa cushions. P.S. The next guest is welcome to our microwave popcorn. Whoops, we went shopping before noticing there's no microwave. P.P.S. Some other units were for sale -- the 2 bedroom version is going for about $70k
My wife and I needed a place to stay in Athens to attend to family matters. The condo was perfect, clean, convenient, well furnished. The owners were great, very accommodating and a pleasure to deal with.
The condo was my home away from home for a week long conference this summer in Athens. It was a great place to get away from the long days of meetings and then relax. The kitchen was perfect for eating in a couple nights, the setting was peaceful, the condo exceptionally well maintained. This is a great alternative to a motel room. My spouse joined me at the end of the week and we were able to join friends for weekend happenings in Athens. I didn't have time to use the pool, but it is in a great location with plenty of decking. Charlie and Trisha are great to work with in reserving the condo, offer plenty of information, and eager for guests to have a perfect stay. I will stay here again for next year's Athens conference.
We've stayed here on several occasions for football games in Athens. The condo is more than comfortably furnished and extremely clean. From this particular condo, you look out onto woods, but can see the top of the stadium from the balcony...we could hear the bugler warming up before the game the times we stayed here! Getting to campus, the stadium and downtown were all easy walks from the condo complex, which was a bonus. The owners have always been easy to work with. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a place to stay the weekend in Athens!
