No better location in Sun Valley! Snowcreek is right next door to Dollar Mountain and Carol’s Lodge, and just a short stroll along Dollar Road to the main Sun Valley Lodge, shops, restaurants, ice rink and entertainment. Free Kart bus leaves from Carol's every 20 minutes for Baldy during ski season. Free Kart City bus provides regular service from Dollar to Ketchum, Warm Springs, and Elkhorn year-round. The regional bike path runs along the edge of the complex. Walk or ride to Ketchum for coffee, or ride some of the 48 miles of trail to Hailey or Bellevue for lunch. Two (2) bikes come with this rental - available for your use.
Snowcreek 1523 is a beautiful, remodeled second floor flat, with vaulted ceilings, hardwood and carpeted floors, designer furnished mountain décor, large deck, and views of Baldy, Dollar and the Resort area. The newly completed, expansive deck with outdoor gas grill makes for wonderful summertime entertainment, as you watch the sun set over the mountains. Perpendicular to the road for privacy, yet located directly across from the Clubhouse and pool for easy access. Yes, this is the Sun Valley area condominiums with their own pool and hot tub!
If you haven't been to Snowcreek before, all units are not the same. Choose upstairs with vaulted ceilings for spaciousness and a loft. Skylights were optional and we have two to bring natural light in. Make sure your unit has an expanded deck, so you can enjoy outdoor living (many rentals still have original, narrow decks). You'll find Baldy and Dollar views here, not just a view of the road or parking lot.
Walk in, sink back and just relax. King and Queen (double-bunk) bedrooms, each with its own full bathroom, are located either side of hallway, which opens into an inviting, inclusive living room with river rock, gas fireplace, entertainment center, dining area, and kitchen. Step out the living room slider to the deck area; smell the clean air and hear the rustle of the pines and aspens. Loft, with another Queen bed, is above kitchen, accessible by nicely inclined stairs.
If you’ve been to Sun Valley before, you already understand the beauty of this location; winter and summer. If you haven’t, read on.
For skiers, it’s only a few minutes to the big mountain, and the bus will be there when you are ready to come home; no parking and no walking hassles. If you have children or beginners just learning to ski, you can walk them across the parking lot to arguably the best ski school in North America at Dollar, where they will be taken care of professionally for the day, you can catch the bus to make your own runs down the 3,400 vertical feet of alpine terrain on Baldy, then come back and make a couple of runs with them on Dollar, before walking home together.
If you’re really good, make arrangements for cat- or heli-skiing. On other days, take a skate at the Lodge rink, use the many miles of groomed cross country trails, or walk over to Penny Hill for traditional sledding and tubing (there are two sleds for your use). Later take a horse drawn sleigh ride to Trail Creek Cabin for dinner.
In the summer, Snowcreek has the only on-property pool and hot tub in this area; just walk across the drive to the clubhouse and you're there! Bike, roller blade, or just walk the adjacent trail, hit the links, throw a fly, or anything else that strikes your fancy; you can even take a bike up the lift and ride down the mountain! Don’t miss World and Olympic medalists performing on the outdoor rink from mid-June through Labor Day, the 'Big Hitch' during Labor Day’s wagon parade, the Summer Symphony and October Jazz Festival, both with world-renown players, and while your in town, a Sun Valley Brunch or Buffet.

Such a nice property - well-maintained and very comfortable for our family to spend time in. We loved having access to the community pool / hot tub. Convenient to all of Sun Valley, highly recommend!
The perfect setup for a trip with friends - easy access to everything we wanted to get to and a nice complex!
We had a wonderful visit to Sun Valley after moving from there in 2005. The condo was immaculate and very well appointed. Our stay was very comfortable. There were many helpful directions posted to answer any questions one might have.
We had a great stay- excellent layout , decor and area-
Overall the place was clean but very dated! Kitchen counters maybe 40+yrs old? But great inventory to cook, prepare meals with. Also the barbecue had not been cleaned at all which, being summer, surprised us as we used it three times. Otherwise no surprises and we enjoyed our stay.
Couldn't have asked for a better place to stay during our two-week vacation. All areas of the condo are so thoughtfully laid out that we often commented that we could have accommodated a whole other family. The pool and clubhouse are such a nice addition (we used daily), and the location couldn't be better (we would often bike or walk to the lodge). We were SO excited to see that the condo came with two adult bikes (and helmets!) and we happily made use of them. There were toys and books for the children which kept them happy along with a pack n play and a booster seat! We're planning on going back and, when we do, we'll definitely stay here.
Easy check in. Very nice property
PROs: Very clean, spacious, well-appointed and stocked with basics, with close proximity to Dollar Mtn and other family in condos at same development. CONs: Owner demanded additional money to cover them deciding to increase fees on January 1, 2022 - even tho we had a contract with deposit a year in advance for Dec27 to Jan 3. So for 2 nights we were told to pay the difference or we were invited to cancel the contract. I’m not sure how legal this is and if VRBO supports bait-n-switch business policies? Also, all our families had “Recreational Passes” to the different recreational facilities. The passes for this particular condo are not available, as the owners do not pay the yearly dues. That said, we have fun anywhere we go and this was no exception. Just BUYER BEWARE and don’t be surprised if you are hit up for more money at the last minute.

We enjoyed the homey feel of this beautiful property. It was clean, well furnished, and very comfortable. An easy bike ride to downtown shops and restaurants. Parking was easy and close to the unit. The hosts provided easy check in / check out instructions. Would definitely stay here again!
