Quite spacious duplex with excellent location

The exact location of the apartment was not clear until I arrived in Tarifa and called the owner. I was then met by a lovely young lady that walked us up to the apartment and showed us the ins and outs. The apartment is Very Spacious! It had 3 separates bedrooms with a bathroom upstairs and a full living area downstairs with a kitchen and half bath. The upstairs bath was dated but worked just fine. It was clean, with whimsical decorations and with everything you needed and more. They had beers, waters and snacks available for us upon arrival. Very thoughtful and needed. We were able to park the car at a near by garage and walked everywhere. No AC needed (and we visited in late June). Just open the windows and the cool breeze was enough. I actually got cold at night! The only draw back was the early birds chirping!! But we had to get up early anyway. There is a washer available with a drying rack outside the apartment with clothe pins in the window. Perfect for a quick wash. Great place, good vibes. Would recommend it. Very hospitable care taker and owner.

Great location for taking the ferry to Morocco early in the AM. Cute, clean, comfortable place...nice host. We cooked in the apartment with ease and used the washing machine, which was very convenient. Only downsides were it was a bit stuffy without A/C (and we didn't want to open the windows due to bugs) - though the fans did really help a lot - and the one toilet we had to take the lid off to flush. Otherwise, it was great!

We booked this property for 2 nights. Our family was separated (2 in Lagos PT and 4 in Barcelona ES). We traveled to Tarifa to meet, spend a day in Tangier and travel together to Lagos. Our arrival was fraught with miscommunication. David did not answer the phone. He eventually sent a text asking us to talk with his agent, Maria. Maria also only spoke Spanish, so we communicated via WhatsApp and Google translate. After 45-60 minutes, we were able to meet and get the keys. The apartment was as described and as we only planned to sleep there, everything seemed ok. However, we later learned we had no hot water and that we shared the premises with ants - many ants. Leaving was easier as we had promised to leave the keys on the side table when we left. However, in doing so, we realized we had left a bag on the couch. We texted David, but we're told the cleaners could not find our bag. We're out a nice American Traveler carry-on and some dirty clothes, but can recover. My son is planning the same day trip and an overnight stay in Tarifa. We've made sure he does not stay in this property.

Property was as described or better. Two of the bedrooms were a bit small but served their purpose. They had coffee, tea muffins, water and beer in the kitchen on our arrival. Building and apartment appear almost new. Just a few blocks to the ferry. Very reasonably priced. Highly recommend and would stay here again.

We loved the location of David's place. Its spacious and clean, and nicely appointed to make your stay comfortable.

We used this as a base for exploring Tangier. Very close to ferry dock. Excellent location for restaurants as well.

We really enjoyed our stay here, the apartment was very spacious, cozy and decorated with a lot of attention to detail. We immediately felt at home. Old town Tarifa and the beach are just 5 minutes away.
