Spend your mountain vacation in this luxurious studio condominium in the most desirable complex in Beaver Creek. McCoy Peak Lodge is located adjacent to Chair 1 on Beaver Creek Mountain and provides all of the amenities needed for an incredible ski vacation or weekend away in the mountains. McCoy Peak offers unbeatable ski-in/ski-out access and includes a private locker room, hot tubs, a heated parking garage, and an award-winning great room.
This condominium is on the ground floor and is one of the closest units in the building to the slopes. It features a resort kitchenette with granite countertops, refrigerator, full size dishwasher, 2 burner stove and microwave oven. The condo has maple hardwood floors, a stone fireplace, a marble bathroom with Jacuzzi tub, a luxury king size bed (and rollaway twin), and a washer and dryer.
Along with its luxury finishes, one of our favorite features of this condominium is its convenience. The locker room is feet away from the slopes, so you won't ever have to walk in those bulky ski boots during your stay. If you get cold or need a quick break from the slopes, come in for a cup of cocoa. At days’ end, hop in one of the hot tubs, then relax by the beautiful wood burning fireplace in the great room while watching skiers take their final runs of the day. All the fine dining and shopping of Beaver Creek Village is a short walk (less than 5 minutes). If your legs are really tired, Dial-a-Ride (the free shuttle service) is just a phone call away.
We love our mountain condo and know that you will enjoy your stay. Hope to see you on the slopes!
Please note: the condo is able to sleep 2 comfortably in the king size bed. We do have the additional rollaway twin for a small child. A family of 4 would not fit in this unit.
10.71% tax rate. $125 cleaning fee additional as well as $79 property damage protection fee (in lieu of a deposit).
6.31% will be added to your booking in an additional payment request for local sales taxes. VRBO charges the 4.4% remitted to the state and county.
Overall nice !!
fantastic property, right on the mountain, close to the ski locker. perfect property for skiers who spend all day on the mountain
Best ski-in, ski-out I’ve ever stayed at. The lockers are thirty feet from the slopes. Easy access, beautiful place. Clean, neat, everything as promised.
This condo was perfect for the 3 of us! The parking, ski access, ski locker and rentals, shuttle, and location to the village. My only suggestion is to plan ahead and make reservations well before your stay due to covid restrictions and capacity. We had an amazing time and cannot wait to return here! It’s beautiful!
Incredible ski in/ski out location. Easy access to ski locker and hot tubs. Shuttle service to village is ideal. Couldn’t have been better.
This property is excellent, but for no more than two people. It was very clean and the location was amazing! The only problems we had were that there was no one at the site to answer any questions about the area and you really could not cook breakfast. Do not try to cook bacon (no frying pan) because the ventilation is horrible. Other than those two things, this place is just wonderful. The little extras like the fresh flowers, coffee, wine, and water were an added plus!
Great option for 2 maybe 3 people. Very clean and close to the village. Has a great garage parking spot for the car.! Overall it was great.
Would have been a 5 star if there was a skillet and coat rack or somewhere to hang up jackets.
Great place. This room was very convenient for loading and unloading. Going to the locker room and going to the hot tub not to mention clicking your skis on and taking off. My biggest gripe was the drive from Denver airport to our location and only because it was snowing like crazy. But once we were there it was amazing. Our rental is a must for every active couple wanting a get away ski trip! Ps.... Shuttles work great and lots of choices to dine.
Loved the location of the property and the easy check in process. Unit was super clean and well stocked for our convenience. We really enjoyed the ease of getting out to the slopes with slop-side location and ski lockers for our use. Can’t wait to come back.
Check-in process was easy, ski lockers are big and convenient, slopes are steps away from the room. Can’t beat the location for access to the mountain. The room itself is well-suited for 2 people and the king sized bed was very comfortable. Amenities like bottled water, toiletries, keurig w pods, etc were very nice touches. Small kitchen is more than adequate to prepare small meals w cooktop and microwave. Bathroom is large and has both a tub and shower. We didn’t use the fireplace but it added a nice touch to the room.
We had a great stay here! The ease of the ski in and ski out is amazing!
We’re gonna do it again!
I enjoyed our stay, but we still do not have our $3,000 damage deposit credited back to our credit card. What’s the hold up?
Nice spot to get around and enjoy the whole area in the summer.
TRUE SKI-IN / SKI-OUT, ONE OF THE BEST PLACES TO STAY IN BEAVER CREEK! Studio Condo is the perfect size for a small family of 3, it was super clean, and had everything we needed for a perfect stay. Kitchen is fully equipped for those who want to cook, there is a full size jacuzzi bathtub to soak in, and a new large smart TV to stream your favorite shows. The property manager is very friendly, and genuinely interested in making sure that we were more then satisfied with everything. Of course, the highlight is that you can ski straight from the locker room right into the main lift, and at the end of the day, ski straight into the locker room. Can't thank you enough for making our ski getaway vacation highly memorable!
Family of 3 - with 6yo - really enjoyed the ski-onto the slopes access. We could easily access the beginner slopes and kids ski school, and well as the longer lifts. The only downside is it is not a super convenient walk to the village shops/restaurants. Either a 10-15 min stroll on sidewalk, or a serious trek up/down the side of the ski slope. Still highly recommended.
Apartment was advertised correctly, clean, everyone responded in a prompt manner and even let us in 2 hours earlier and one hour later to accommodate our arrival / departure. Thank you for everything incl the nice gesture of a bottle of wine! Beaver creek is an amazing ski resort and it’s well connected to Vail with the express shuttle snd its village connect bus to our apartment for the last mile.
The studio and furnishing were as shown in the description and pictures. The bed was very confortable. The studio apartment is a studio, it's not a large roomy living area. Since it's a ground floor unit, the blinds were closed most of the time. We spend a good bit of time in the lobby. The windows looked out over the ski runs. It was a nice location for your morning coffee or afternoon glass of wine.
The perfect spot to be if you are visiting Beaver Creak!!! I have been to Beaver Creek consistently every year for the last 20 years or so, and have stayed at a number of places (Pines, Borders, St. James, Hyatt, Osprey). This property had the best ski-in ski-out access of all of them. Just that alone will make me a return visitor, but the unit is perfectly located on the first floor, and super close to the parking garage and to the ski lockers. The unit is fully equipped with everything you need for a stress free getaway. The condo was clean, had a more then adequate kitchen space (with all necessary appliances), and a large bathroom with a jetted bathtub to help soothe sore muscles. Thanks so much for allowing my small family to have an unforgettable ski trip, we will be back!
The unit is a true ski in/out location. The unit is small and best suited for two people. The overall feeling is comparable to a studio apartment with a small kitchenette, microwave, small refrigerator, and two burners. What does not work: - The fireplace is an issue (as per previous reviews) basically it does not work. - The only window in the unit faces the main road and if you raise the blind (only option) you are visible to everyone who walks or drives by. - The convection/large microwave oven does not work. - Shipping our ski gear - Upon our arrival no one new (including the manager) where our gear was. After talking to one of the ladies at the front desk (Michelle) and the manager, we eventually found our gear at a different location (Highlands). What works: - The lodge location, true in/out skiing, the ski locker, the car garage, the bathroom in the unit (great and large), the bottle of wine and bottles of water available to us. Basic utensils and condiments, the bed (comfortable), the internet (no issues), the TV, quiet place to stay, the hot tub, but best of all the communications with Lizz - Excellent communications and support!! Now that I am aware of and despite shortcomings/issues listed above, I will consider using the unit again.
This condo was perfect for my son and I! Just head out the ski locker exit and you are just a short downhill ski to the lifts! Would definitely stay here again!
This was a Dad and his 2 boys 3-day ski getaway. The ski-in and ski-out experience was the highlight of the trip. My boys 15 and 14 are old enough to enjoy venturing out on their own especially knowing that they could get back to the unit at any time!
Loved the location of our room. Outside our lodge door is a spa and hot tub with chairs to just sit and enjoy the mountain views. Walking a short trail, just a block or so down, are the lift and gondola. There's also fun spots for kids and adults. Many restaurants and shops are within this same area. Next time I will get two beds. The room was lovely and so very clean.
Surprised at just how convenient the condo is to the slope. Best ski in and out I have ever stayed in. Also the distance from the garage to the condo was literallly 30 feet. Room was efficient for a room one bedroom/bath.
Perfect for two people.
All about the location with this place. Pull into the private garage, easy unload to the condo, walk across the lobby to the locker room and then out the door ready to ski! It's an easy walk down through the snow to get to Beaver Creek Village or catch a free shuttle--we chose to walk. I can't imagine staying anywhere else on our next trip to Beaver Creek!
We stayed for 12 nights (January 16- 28). Could not have been a better location for ski in ski out. The lobby was large and comfortable and had a huge wood burning fireplace which we used often because the condo gas fireplace did not work. The first day it turned off after 15 minutes. We called Zoran, the property manager, and he was very helpful .He showed us how to relight the pilot light which we did several times but the fire only lasted 5 minutes. He explained that because the TV was located above the fireplace there must be a sensor that was set to prevent the TV from being damaged by the heat. We could not figure out how to work the microwave and he could not either so he determined that it was not a microwave but a convection oven because it had a metal turntable.Michelle, the owners concierge, was very helpful even though she was not in charge of our unit. The ice maker in the refrigerator in our unit did not make ice or store the ice without melting and she was gracious enough to get ice for us from another unit. She also provided us with wood and fire starters for the lobby fireplace. The unit was very clean and well stocked with paper products and water. We received beautiful fresh flowers and a bottle of wine upon our arrival. The unit was comfortable and nicely furnished and if it had a working fireplace, a microwave and a way for us to keep ice, we would have given it 5 stars. The Internet and smart TV were fantastic. We did not have a car so used Uber for groceries and Dial a Ride to get around the village although it was a short , slippery walk down the ski slope. The ski in ski out and the ski lockers with boot heaters made it the most convenient ski experience we have ever had. Pat and Wayne Huff
First time we visited Beaver creek, and we enjoyed it. The resort itself and room were terrific! Very clean and staff was nice and helpful! Would stay there again!
The place was every bit as good as it was advertised to be. I would definitely stay there again on a return trip to Beaver Creek.
Quiet convenient location w true ski in/out. Shared lodge hottub and heated patio offers great viewing of village mountain and runs. Large suite bathroom. underground parking. Usable ski lockers and boot dryer. The negatives: the only window in the ground floor unit looks directly onto the road and busy driveway turnaround for the entire lodge. Makes it difficult to even open blinds as it looks directly into bedroom. Would benefit from top down blinds. Although neatly decorated the dressers are not really usable for putting away clothes which leads to the room becoming quite cluttered. Big closet but no hangars. Would benefit from a coat rack or stand. Kitchen table cooking area is quite cramped. But all kitchen needs were well covered. The gorgeous fireplace and in house speakers were not working and directions were not provided. Inconvenient but not worth a call and burning time w management. Leaves some to be desired at this price point compared to a 1bedroom for example at the Westin w amenities.
Unit was great and manager was super helpful. Luxurious bath that we frankly didn't use much. Only knock was that I didn't realize that it was on the front of building near front door. Led us to keep the blinds drawn so a little dark. Ski-In, Ski-Out and locker setup was super convenient.
The condo was clean and nice.
Overall it was a terrific property. Location was convenient with ski in/out access and close proximity to Beaver Creek village. The unit was very small but worked out well for us. The only hiccup on the trip was someone made off with my daughter's ski boots. I would guess that it was an accident but nevertheless on our last ski day we had to scramble to get boots for my daughter eating up an hour or so. I also had to buy her second pair of new boots this season. In all great spot and unit.
Great slope access with an easy walk to the village. B
My husband, daughter and I stayed in the studio last week. Like others have said - great for 2 and a small child. Condo is truly SKI-IN/SKI-OUT, which we loved! The bathroom was spacious and very well appointed, and we used the washer/dryer every evening! The kitchenette was good for simple meals (undercounter fridge, microwave/convection oven/2 burners), but we ate out most evenings. The Eastern route shuttle and dial-a-ride made getting around very easy & convenient! The locker room was excellent with plenty of space to store all of your gear and nice boot storage with dryer/warmer. Although we didn't use it, the great room of the lodge had a great view and plenty of comfy seating. Liz was also very helpful with booking and whatever we needed!
Great condo, very warmly decorated, excellent ski-in ski-out location. Very well appointed room, although a little on the small side, it was perfectly adequate for 2 people for a week. Beaver Creek village is awesome, as is the resort in general. We will definitely return soon.
Nicely maintained studio with a fireplace and two comfortable chairs in the bedroom. A table with two chairs in the kitchen which was fully functional with a dorm size refrigerator. Large bathroom with double sinks, jetted tub and separate shower. The washer/dryer was a nice feature. Steps to the main gathering area which had multiple chairs, sofas and a large fireplace which was never lit during our stay. This common room has a magnificent picture window overlooking the slopes. Perfect for two but a little snug for three. If you are willing to wait for the local transport shuttle (10-15 min), a car is not necessary. Would highly recommend to a friend!!!
We stayed here last week and our son was in ski school (first time skiing ever) - this location was beyond ideal to get him down to ski school every morning and was an easy ski in off the small gondola. It was perfect for 2 plus one child - any more would be tight. Concierge was extremely helpful and in town shuttle was super easy for dinners out. We will definitely be back to this location. Thank you!!
This Condo is true ski-in/out - one of the best locations in Beaver Creek! It is very nicely decorated and was the perfect size for two persons. Liz was very friendly, responsive and accommodating. We had a terrific ski weekend!
Great location. The process to pay and get going is simple. Liz does a great job if you have any questions.
Great unit well decorated. Right on the slope. Easy ski in and ski out. Nice fireplace. Rental agent Liz was vey helpful.
We had a great stay for skiing over a long weekend. Condo was a good set-up for us...Dad with two 10 year-olds who wanted to ski the whole time. Condo attributes include ski locker room (ski in, ski out), walk to Beaver Creek Village, shared hot tub, galley kitchen, fireplace, nice bathroom, heated parking. I can recommend without reservation.
