Awesome place, some dishes and the bathroom weren't clean, but the hot tub, location and condo were perfect.
This is a great location. Close to Vail and Beaver Creek. The listing says it faces the river, which it does. You just can’t see it, or hear it, because it also sides the Highway. You constantly hear noise from the highway, day or night, even with windows closed. The bed is not a queen size. It is a Full sized. My husband slept upstairs in the loft because the bed was so small. The fireplace was not working and it took 2 days for someone to come light the pilot. It does provide underground parking garage, which was nice. If you’re not looking for a peaceful getaway, this is not it. If you just want location and a garage, it’s ok. It is dated, but it does have everything you need.
This was a great location. Minutes from Beaver Creek and all the well rated local restaurants. You can do walks along Eagle River (just walk around the parking garage). Only issue is this is a weird area where Apple and Google maps don’t take you to the destination if you put the address in your phone. The emailed directions lack street names and cross streets. Once we got there, we were very happy with the place.
Good location, you can't see or hear the river, but the property is right along the walkway along the river which is really nice. Short drive to Avon. Place was nice. Kitchen was very limited. If coming in the summer, it was very hot. The bedroom was doable but the loft was not at all. We ended up sleeping on the couch. Complex may be a party complex, there was a party below us on a Monday night until 4:30 in the morning. We called management who did not help. In summary, - hot in the summer, even at night, don't plan on using the loft - party/ noisy + you have to have the windows open at night I'm sure it's great in the winter! Garage parking, fireplace, etc.
Very clean and roomy.
Air conditioning would have been nice since it was in the 90's. I know that's not practical in mountain towns so see the summers are so short. Everything else was great.
Great property. More road noise than I expected with the windows open, but didn’t keep sleep away after busy days. Very convenient location.
We will be back! Loved being on the river!! Property was well kept and very clean!
The unit was noisy (mostly traffic), especially at night. The windows had to be open because otherwise it was too hot to sleep and contrary to the description in the unit, it does not cool down quickly. The unit was otherwise very nice
Refrigerator leaked water on the floor and the repair person left a sink filled with dirty water. The fireplace didn’t light. The hallway outside the unit was stained and dirty. There was a large black stain in the bathtub, a smoke alarm went off with a scream at 5:25 in the morning, and the TV (or service) was low resolution. Not an ideal experience.
Had a good time next to the river! Close to everything. Quiet and relaxing.
#305 was clean, underground parking included, all needed appliances to live like at home. We were walking distance to the Bear lot Beaver Creek shuttle. Close to the free parking at Arrowhead. Quiet location. Nice view of the Eagle River. Property was well maintained. We skied at Beaver Creek, Vail, and Breckenridge.
We enjoyed our week long stay in condo #305. The building was very quiet, the furnishings also added to a mountain cabin getaway feel. The location in Avon made it easy to get to the Beaver Creek shuttle. The kitchen was well appointed which was nice because we ate most of our meals in the condo. The bed in the master was comfortable too. Check in and check out was easy.
Would go back
I was with a group of 4 for a long ski weekend. The place was exactly what we needed. Leading up to our trip, the property owner was very communicative. Once we arrived we knew where to go, had the correct entry codes easily accessible, etc. The unit itself was very clean, had linens on the beds, towels, and soap in the kitchen and bathroom. The fireplace was also a wonderful addition! The place was about a 20 minute drive to Vail which was perfect to hit the slopes early. Overall, would definitely recommend and will hopefully be back next year!
Everything was wonderful in the house the only thing that could make it a little better is maybe a ceiling fan to keep the air moving in the loft up stairs. The location was perfect and the house was very clean!
We really enjoyed this condo. The location was great and it was easy in and out. It was so nice to have a washer/dryer and the loft was great for the kiddos. The only complaint is that we never found the hot tub. The directions were a little confusing and it wasn't in our building so we never ended up seeing it.
Very clean and comfortable. Perfect for our family of 4. The garage parking was a nice plus.
Great amenities. Clean and didn’t hear my neighbors. Road noise was a bit loud. I would definitely stay here again. The management company was very responsive when I had an issue.
We had a fabulous time.
We loved the sound of the river and having all the windows open for the cool mountain air.
Would have given this a 5 star but the balcony was still under rehab. This is not a deal breaker. This is very comfortable with an excellent location. You can easily utilize the restaurants, Ski shops etc in both Avon and Edwards. This unit would be much better and more comfortable if a ceiling fan was installed in the loft. This area needs some air movement for a good nights sleep. A box fan is provided but not efficient.
The condo was clean, very conveniently located, and easy to access. There were plenty of towels and linens. The garage parking was awesome since the temperature was in the single digits during our stay. Everything was in working order and there were easy instructions for the TV and phone numbers were easy to find (for managment, after hours, etc.) We will visit again and will definitely stay at this condo when we do!
The condo is small but nice. We stayed there over Christmas. The check in process went smooth and Jennifer at the corporate office was very nice and helpful before we arrived. We had planned to do some Christmas Eve grilling on the promised grill out on the patio, but when we arrived we found what looked like yellow police tape taped over our patio door and we were unable to access the deck whatsoever. I understand the need for occasional repairs, but we were not informed that we would not have access to the grill that was promised on the property description. The unit was clean and had most of the amenities that we needed. However, a couple of suggested additions to the kitchen… At least one pot holder and a cookie sheet. We ended up making nachos in a muffin pan. Very basic staples like salt-and-pepper might've been nice as well. We did leave some there for the next guests, along with coffee filters. The condo has a nice central location between Beaver creek and Vail and was easy to find. BHHS provided good communication prior to our stay as well as good directions on how to get there. The heated garage was a very nice plus.
This is a good spot to enjoy skiing and whatever else in the area. The basics are all in the condo, the bus to the ski hill is an 8 minute walk and conveniences are accessible by car about a mile away in central Avon. Service is less than adequate. We had no wi-fi and were not told that the deck and access to the bar-b-q were under construction and not available. Despite an email and a text, no response on the request for wi-fi.
We really enjoyed Brookside#305.Great location.Pleasant surroundings.Very scenic.Very comfortable .Ideal location. We hope to return next year.
We had a great time in Avon and this condo suited us perfectly. It is relatively small - one bedroom with a queen bed, and a loft with two doubles. Our family of four fit really well. The condo was nicely decorated and had a great balcony that overlooked a walking path and the nearby river. The sound of the river was very relaxing. The heated pool and spa were also nice and the keys were provided. The communication prior to, during and after the stay was all managed by Berkshire Hathaway and was well-done. All of the codes provided in emails worked and nothing was left to guess. The only thing holding back a 5th star were the little things that most other VRBOs seem to have. Laundry detergent, toilet paper, additional towels...these were not here. With a single towel each to last through our stay, we had to meter pool and shower visits to let towels dry in between. Fortunately, there is a City Market grocery store only a short drive away that carries these supplies. If our plans take us to Avon again, we'll certainly plan to stay here.
Amazing 4 night stay at this vacation rental. Everything was exactly as advertised and no complaints. I cannot wait to make my next reservation at this property. Avon and Beaver Creek are great places to visit even if you don't ski.
No complaints at all with the property. Fairly close shuttles take you right to Beaver Creek or Vail. Avon as a town is not the most exciting place so be sure to spend most of your time on the mountain.
