Located on a hill between Brenham and Navasota with a fabulous view, this 5 bedroom, 5-1/2 bath modern farmhouse PLUS an additional 2-2 in a separate "Casita" offers the perfect spot for family or friends to gather in comfort. Looking for a place to hold your family reunion or friend retreat but don't want to be stacked on top of each other? Lots of room to spread out here with activities for all ages. Events are possible, but an additional charge applies based on activity and number of guests.
The two story main house has a large living area with tables to seat 20+, a colorful electric fireplace for "ambiance" or heat, concrete floors on the first floor for minimal worry, a game room with large TV, bar and electronic games, and a separate laundry room. The back porch has a pathway to the neighboring Casita and as well as a path to the fire pit area.
Upstairs is a bunk room, theater with fiber optic twinkling star ceiling, full bath, and two more large bedrooms with private baths.
The Casita has two bedrooms, each has their own private bath, and a center gathering room with futon, table, sink, small refrigerator, and K-cup coffee maker. Outside is a fire ring and plenty of wood to enjoy the evening stars and mooing of neighboring cows. Great place for s'mores (roasting sticks provided)!
Activities include a variety of games, toys, and puzzles in the living and game room including an electronic console and card/poker table/bumper pool table, a foosball table, and multiple TV's and a theater. Outside there are a variety of riding, climbing, and swinging toys for kids as well as seasonal berry picking, basketball, ping pong, kickball bases, balls, Disc golf, corn hole, washers, and more. NEW FOR SUMMER 2022 is a large sports pool for volleyball and swimming AND an outdoor kitchen. Photos coming soon. The lake is full with a short pier for jumping off or launching the paddle boat. The woods and flowers provide perfect subjects for photographers and artists.
Sunsets and sunrises are spectacular and the wildlife is abundant in the woods and yard. All wildlife is protected, except for the feral hogs!
For outdoor grilling enthusiasts, there is a propane grill and Traeger smoker on the back porch. An additional freezer for ice only is in the garage for times when more is needed than what the refrigerator ice maker can provide. Outdoor seating is provided in several locations as well as camp chairs in the garage for sitting around the fire pit.
A separate cabin with a queen bed is available if additional space is needed. Please inquire if you are interested. $100 for the stay. The 2-2 Casita may be available on its own if the entire house is not needed. Please inquire.
Just off the highway but out in the country, “Deep in the Heart Farm” wedding venue is only 3 miles down the road, Kyle Field is just 37 miles away, Chappell Hill is 9 miles, Lake Somerville is 25 miles, Washington on the Brazos State Historic Site is 8 miles, George H. W. Bush Presidential Library is 38 miles away, the Brenham Country Club is 10 miles away, and the Blue Bell Creamery is only 12 miles down the road! Big festivals in the area include the Official Bluebonnet Festival of Texas (April), Round Top Antique Fair (January, April, October), Texas Independence Day (March), Brenham Maifest (May) Grape Stomp (July-August), Burton Cotton Gin Festival (April) and so much more!

Red Berry Hollow is a must stay location for any large group! The house has everything you need for long stay and more. We had 6 families with children that ranged from 0-13 years old. Janis is a great host who was very helpful in all of our group’s requests. Pool and outdoor amenities are great, kitchen is large and fully stocked, media room star feature was great, and living space was great for a large group to hang. We cannot wait to come back!
My son got married up the street at Deep in the Heart and we stayed at this beautiful home with all of our out of town family. It was the perfect replace for all of us! We also had the catered rehearsal dinner at the home! We were able to seat 60 people inside and have a fun dance party outside after the sun went down. Janis was so incredibly helpful with all aspects of our long weekend. We will definitely be back :)

I cannot say enough to describe how amazing and perfect this house was for our family group of 22 people. Everyone slept comfortably and every bedroom had its own bathroom. Even when the entire group sat down for dinner at the same time, there was plenty of room. It’s hard to describe how 22 people can be in one house and we never felt crowded. And if the house were not enough, Janis was an amazing and gracious host. I cannot give a higher recommendation to Red Berry Hollow!!!
Our stay was great! The owner was very accommodating and the rental was amazing! The entire family enjoyed the stay, everyone had plenty of room and the games available were a great addition to the weekend!
We loved every second at this property. The pictures do not do it justice. We were the first ones to enjoy the pool, and it is such a great addition. We loved waking up to the view of the hills and lake in the backyard. An absolutely wonderful experience. Hope to come back someday
My husband and I had our wedding at Red Berry Hollow and we couldn’t be happier with everything! The host was absolutely amazing and worked endlessly to ensure we were taken care of and make the property beautiful! This home was made by a family for a family, it had absolutely everything we needed. We can’t say enough wonderful things about this location and are so thankful we found it on VRBO!
Wow! This property was accurately described and provided ample space for a big family event. There were plenty of nice vistas from every window in the house. The kitchen was well stocked with cookware and dishware. Plenty of activities for children to play with. The decor and and furnishings were very nice. We would definitely rent again and will highly recommend it. The hostess was very responsive to questions.
This place is a true gem. My daughter got married at Deep in the Heart Farms wedding venue just 8 miles away. We had the rehearsal dinner the night before on the back patio. It worked out perfectly! There was plenty of room for the bride and bridesmaids to stay in their own place and the groom and groomsmen to stay in their house. Then after the wedding the bride and groom stayed in their own private cabin. The house had everything and then some! I gave it 4 stars for accuracy because the pictures did not do the house justice. It is a lot more beautiful in person. The fireplace was my favorite!
We spent a lovely weekend in this beautiful home. The home had plenty of room for everyone to sleep and play. We enjoyed the large dining room table, the back patio seating and loved the fire pit. We loved watching the sunset and relaxing for the weekend. Perfect property for our family. We can’t wait to return!

Wow! Everything about this property and the owner were perfect. We held our Night Before the Wedding Dinner Celebration and lodged our entire wedding party at RBH. The owner has the home set up for entertaining a large group for dinner. The views from the house and back patio are stunning, the sunset was amazing for photos! Truly one of our best decisions for our special weekend!
This is an amazing house and property to rent. The house is gorgeous, the pictures on the site do not capture the true beauty of this house and property. The property is huge and well taken care of and has all your needs for indoor and outdoor needs. Was amazed of how well the house was stocked from kitchen to bathroom to extra tables and chair needs and for outdoors had all play things you need for any activity, including disc golf and water slide. Janis the host, is amazing and flexible with request and available at all hours. Would highly recommend this rental to everyone, it is an exceptional place to gather, we enjoyed out time there so much!
This was our second time visiting red berry Hollow and as previously it was an amazing experience. The property is in very good condition and very well-maintained. And we have a large group and always love visiting this property as it has so many amenities and allows us to freely enjoy the activities that we have planned for our trip. Definitely will and always recommend this property to anybody who is looking to get away for the weekend.
Red Berry Hollow is not only a gorgeous property, but the owners have though of everything. There was plenty of beds, chairs, games, etc. The beds were very comfortable. We were able to accommodate 22 family members very comfortably. It was so much fun! We highly recommend!!

A group of friends stayed the weekend at Red Berry Hollow for our traditional annual get together and cook off, and it was well beyond our expectations. The property is very beautiful with the most amazing views; especially sunsets. We could see the stars at night! The main house, casita, and cabin were tastefully decorated, modern, clean, and comfortable. We enjoyed the ample kitchen, game room, and all social areas. Played games whenever it rained and let the chefs go crazy making amazing food. They really didn't need anything as the kitchen was so well equipped. We wished we had stayed longer. Communication with Janis was very good and she was really helpful during our booking and stay. We are already planning are next group event and they are all voting for Red Berry Hollow!

We had an amazing weekend at this beautiful property. We were in town for an event at the Washington County Fairgrounds in Brenham and decided to book a house for our group rather than hotel rooms and it was a great time. We enjoyed the property and grilled dinner each evening and spent many hours enjoying the view from the amazing porch. Highly recommend this property, if we are ever in this area again we will book this same property. Janis was very responsive with any questions we had as well.
It was a perfect place for the wide range of ages (4 generations) for our annual Sisters Weekend get together. The property is beautifully maintained, very welcoming and you feel at home while staying there. Thank you for offering a wonderful place for us to gather.

Everything about this rental property was perfect from the location to the condiments. We had a large group gathering and everyone commented on how much they loved the house, amenities and location. This is one of those rentals that exceeds your expectations. Hoping for another reason to rent. If you are ever in the need for a nice, quiet get away... this is the place!
This was our 4th stay at Red Berry Hollow over the past 3 years and as usual it was fantastic! Five adults & 5 children age 12 to 7 - this property has a space for everyone to gather together or spread out to do their own thing. During this visit we watched movies & played Pac-Man, but also sewed Halloween costumes, played basketball, ping pong, frisbee golf, played hide & seek - had so much fun. It's even easy to get regular exercise in on the covered patios and daily walks around the driveway - one loop is about 1/4 mile. The kitchen & greatroom/dining area is so well arranged that you won't miss a thing. I could keep going on but I guess you realize my family loves this place. When my grandchildren are grown with families of their own, I can just hear them remembering all our great times at Red Berry Hollow! Thanks to Janis and her son, Charlie, for being such great hosts.
We stayed for my son's wedding at Deep in the Heart Farms and this place goes way beyond the 5 STARS. Check in was on point along with instructions from the owner Janis. Our whole party had to take tour of the house it was so EXCEPTIONAL. We can't say there was even one thing that was a disappointment from checking in to checking out to leaving merchandise that the owner offered to mail back to us.... Getting to the property was very easy minus the traffic ofcourse. Once we reached the property we were amazed by how clean, organized, well maintained and above all how WELL EQUIPPED the house was. We were a group of 25 and absolutely loves the entire stay here and definitely will be back again. As a matter of fact, have already referred this property to about 20+ friends as well. Job well done!!!
The property was amazing. I planned a surprise sweet sixteen party for my daughter at the last minute but the owner still allowed me to rent the property the same day. Even allowed me to come early to decorate and she was even nice enough to decorate so things for me before I arrived which so really appreciated. The house was big enough for all my guests.
We enjoyed our stay with our 7 children and their families. The weather was beautiful and there was much to do there without leaving the property. The kids want to come back. My only complaint was there is not a 4 acre lake for fishing. There is water, but it did not seem like 4 acres, but maybe in the rainy season, but NO FISH. My sons and grandsons were disappointed that there were no fish. Otherwise the house and property are fabulous. Hope to come back again.

This was our family's second stay at the Rustic Berry Hollow! There was plenty of room and privacy for the many family units that were with us as well as many common areas for gathering, visiting, and playing. We especially enjoyed the main open area with kitchen and sitting area, the LOOONG table with room for all, and the fire pit area. The house comes with plenty of everything for a large crew. We're already planning our trip for next year!

This home is stunning! A beautiful home with tons of amenities, and lots of room to spread out if you have a large group - theatre room, game room, and outdoor patios. We enjoyed a nice walk to the pond and around the large property. Private baths for most bedrooms is a huge plus.
Spacious and love the wide hallways, private rooms with baths, hall doors for quiet (even during New Year's Eve!), king beds, and the separate casita. Very well-planned. Kitchen is terrific with 2 refrigerators and a wide island for prepping and serving. Separate bar/media room is great for the overflow and for kids. Under stairs storage was used by kids as hideaway. Outdoor basketball goal was used as well as a pick-up baseball game in the field. We had 12 adults, 2 teens and 11 kids and used every bit of the space. The backyard patio was perfect for the best Texas sunset of 2018. We will definitely do it again. And the hosts are terrific to work with.
This house was absolutely perfect for our family over Christmas! The house is absolutely beautiful and the view is amazing. The owners truly put so much thought and care into everything. We had children with us who played for hours outside and absolutely loved the swing as well as all the outdoor games! We were able to make a full Christmas dinner in the beautiful kitchen and truly had the best time. I couldnt have asked for anything that suited our family better! Thanks so much! We hope to be back soon!
