The house was nice. Large enough for our family and well equipped. The only issue was the carpet really needs a deep cleaning or replacing. There was a very strong smell and I feel is likely due to the carpet. We did enjoy the house and it has been updated nicely. The owners suite is very large, as is the downstairs bedroom, with a couch and loveseat. Nice TVs, good internet, a must for teenagers and football season. Close to everything.
My family and I stayed here to get away for Christmas. The place was nice, fully stocked with kitchenware, and even had a Christmas tree already put up. Everyone loved it and we created awesome memories together :)
This chalet was slightly updated by slapping paint on things and some new couches. The carpet is BEYOND dirty and gross. Not just the stains throughout it but all around the edges was crumbs bugs etc that needed to be vacuumed. The master shower was disgusting so was the bath upstairs (honestly didn’t use other shower on main so I’m not sure about that one). There were Cobb webs everywhere - even in the kitchen cabinets. Good location to Callaway but that was it. Definitely would not stay again. I would pay more for the hotel next time to be somewhere clean
Convenient access to Callaway. Quiet location with amenities such as a community pool. Staff was attentive and responsive to my needs.
It was a very cozy cottage. It was enough room for everyone to spread out. Some said a few of the beds were a little hard or made noise when you moved. The master bed was fine. Be sure to bring your own paper towels as stated. There are only a couple of trash bags, small dish soap, and three dishwasher tablets to get you started. The kitchen had most of the amenities you would need. Be careful of the rugs. They could use some slip guards underneath them. There is a charcoal grill there. So if you want to grill be sure to bring the charcoal. Overall, it was a very nice and quiet weekend, as we were here for a Lagrange College graduation. We would definitely stay again.
