Omaha, Arkansas
Lacey Michele's Castle is tucked away in a remote corner of the Ozarks, in northwest Boone County Arkansas. Surrounded by the beauty & peacefulness of Mother Nature.
The groundskeeper spreads corn in the evening for the many local deer and critters. Bucks, does and fawns speckle the hillside every evening waiting for their dinner. You can sit back in the courtyard, relax & watch the deer & the surrounding wildlife all around.
The guest studio suite has all the amenities you need, should you want to stay put and rejuvenate in the beautiful solitude nature offers here. Just bring your food and drinks. We furnish the rest!
The large bathroom is handicap accessible. There is a full tub/shower and a double vanity with towels and linens provided. There is more than enough space for 2 people to get ready at the same time, for a fun night out enjoying one of the amazing attractions that are within a few miles of us. This guest suite can sleep 4. There is a medium to firm memory foam mattress and a twin sized trundle daybed.
There is a BBQ grill with charcoal and lighter fluid provided, ready to go if you want to cook out while you play croquet, bocce balls or a fun game of bags. This outside area also has a large fenced area with a horse shoes set. There is a great fire pit for roasting hot dogs, making s'mores and star gazing! We have a small telescope for enjoying the night sky, were we are a certified black out zone. With over 5 miles of hiking trails, there is plenty to explore over the 70 acres of castle property.
When in season, we love sharing our bounties with our guests. We plant all kinds of veggies and we hope to have something that everyone will enjoy! Just another perk of staying at the castle. As we are a non-profit foundation, we also sell vegetables to local grocery stores. All the proceeds from the sales go in to our scholarship fund for the Omaha High School Seniors.
Our mission is for you and your family to be able to disconnect with the rest of the world for a while, and reconnect with each other while enjoying the castle atmosphere, surrounded by the beauty and peacefulness of wildlife and mother nature! We stayed here as it was close to the wedding venue we were going to. It was a wonderful place to stay. We love the outdoors and quiet so staying here was perfect! We would definitely stay again if we come to that area.
Nice place for a weekend getaway.
This place was everything as described. We only stayed one night, but Karen got us all checked in, and made us feel like we were at home! The room was super clean, and it was very peaceful!
Remote and tranquil location but still close enough to enjoy Branson. The castle history is intriguing. No frills suite was clean and comfortable. The attached game room was a big plus! The large fenced in back yard was perfect for our dog. Would suggest a guest book and hangers for the ample closet space. Karen was very sweet and accommodating. Would stay again.
Beautiful property. Quiet, private, and relaxing. Comfortable bed. Good water pressure. Well stocked kitchen. Large fenced in area for our dog. We enjoyed sitting on the back patio each morning while drinking our coffee. Overall it worked out great for our needs.
Great place. Affordable. Privacy was great. Great hostess.
A nice property with an interesting story. Very private in the hills with nice views and a huge plot of land. Comfortable bed and a great game room. It would be nice to have been able to sign a guest book!
Beautiful country side with a fenced in yard. Ower was amazing to visit with lots of history in the building of the castle
It was amazing! We stayed a few nights and only wanted to stay longer! Mrs.Karen was amazing and so very nice! The whole castle just brought me back to my child hood and Great Grandparents house! It was also amazing to come back from running around to peace and quiet. The pool table was the highlight of ny husband and Is night when we were relaxing. Overall we'll be coming back with family next time!!! Godbless!!!
Tucked back in the countryside. Quite. If your a fan of Deer like my wife then you will enjoy this place. Had our dog with us and we had a wonderful stay. Plenty of deer to see. Only a 15 min. Drive to Branson.
Karen is a super sweet host. She was warm and friendly, very helpful. She surprised my daughter with a special birthday gift. Very kind host. One of the nicest we have met. So much so it's been really difficult for me to write a review. The fenced yard was large and great for the dogs to run. The room itself was clean and had all the basics. The game room not so much. It's the smell that was so difficult to deal with. There is an overwhelming chemical/urine smell that will just knock you flat. Metal rods and concrete blocks are everywhere, walls, patio. I feel for the story behind it but the place needs a lot of work. It should not be rented to people in its condition.
Karen was absolutely wonderful! The place was amazing and we can’t wait to plan our next trip back out!!! Highly recommend as she was so wonderful and accommodating!!! Best place we’ve stayed!
Host was very nice and the setting is peaceful/relaxing. The katydids are a bit loud at night, but no real issue. We enjoyed our stay.
The cabin is lovely and has everything you need for a relaxing stay. I loved being in the ozark mountains and seeing all the wildlife during my stay. Karen is a very kind host and always made sure to ask if i needed anything when we saw each other. The story behind Lacey Michele’s Castle is heartbreaking and touching. The whole stay was more than i could’ve asked for.
The property was amazing and learning the history behind it was intriguing. Karen is an amazing host.

An amazing place, with out of this world views!
This property is wonderful! It is very much off the beaten path. The owner is very sweet and helpful. It's very secluded and quite. The beauty of nature abounds. Close to Branson (20 minutes). It's perfect for someone who wants to enjoy all the activities of the big city and then return to the peace and quite of nature and solitude The property is Stunning ! The story behind the castle is so beautiful and will just melt your heart. Highly recommend for nature lovers and those who want to be off the beaten path. We will definitely go back. We loved it!
