The owners are very knowledgeable about the River. They made sure we had everything we needed. The gorgeous river was right down a small hill from the cabin, and the sunsets were unbelievable !
Secluded and quiet property with access to the river.
Was shocked, old storage shed turned into a rental. Never cleaned.
This place is great for a camping experience with A/C. I took my daughter(10 year old) for her birthday trip to go to the wolf sanctuary and this was a great choice for the two of us. The river was beautiful and it was very peaceful. We were welcomed by Clover who was the sweetest! We felt safe on the property since it was just the two of us. We will stay again!
I had a great time exploring the camp area of the property, there was a lot of good photo opportunities for my dog and I! Cooled off in the river which is beautiful and about a foot deep at the most. Plenty of running water and rocks to sit on. The showers are nice too!
The property was just what we needed. The hostess was there if we needed her but also allowed just the right amount of privacy. If you want to feel like your camping on the BEAUTIFUL Brazos, but also have the security of a live in property, this is for you!!!
Had a great little stay. Cute little cabin. Only stayed one night but the renter went out of there way to make sure my daughter and I had a good nights rest
First day there walked in had to kill 3 hornets. I told the person on site they gave me a can of raid and said try this. Room hot. Set AC to 68 but would never get below 75. Second day we left for the day. When we returned I had to kill more wasp. Room still hot. Woke up in the middle of the night and worked on the AC myself. (HVAC-R certified AC tech) the AC has never been cleaned. After I cleaned the AC it started to work again. If owners would put some money into this unit it would have been way better. The owners are very nice. Their dogs made my kids day. They loved playing with them. The river was beautiful. Location is amazing.
Patti was a wonderful host.
Did not use lost money
Property manager was very friendly and nice. Cabin was mostly as pictured and has two bunk beds, one has a larger bottom bed that 2 adults can sleep in together. It also has a couch. It was a little dusty but mostly clean. The bathrooms are detached about 100 ft away from the cabin. Overall a good place to stay if you are looking to be near the river and want a camping type experience without the hassle of a tent.
