Quincy, Washington
“Seagrunge-by-the-Lake” designed by the famed Seattle landscape design studio – Olson Kundig seeks to engage history through a respectful use of natural materials, forms sympathetic to the natural setting and environmentally conscious design. Poised 900 feet above the Columbia River, this lake home is surrounded by estate vineyards, SageCliffe Resort and Spa and CaveB winery.
Exclusive for this home:
Free access to the stunning pool in the resort, bocce ball courts, resort music events, private hiking trail down to the Columbia River, access to VIP tickets for Gorge concerts and other exclusives. Enquire when you check-in for your stay at the resort lobby.
Views and Architecture:
The 1280 sq ft home on a 0.2 acre lot has expansive views from the living room and opens to a private beach. Powered by sustainable energy (hydro, wind), the home is edited down to the basics: steel, concrete and wood with a vision for Net Zero living in the future. The steel exterior is left to weather with the elements and also applied as a refined accent wall inside the living area blending with the fire place. The bold structural steel frame and the concrete floors are left raw, allowed to age naturally to show the passage of time.
Parking:
A covered driveway to park upto 3 cars or a boat with EV charger.
Living + Bedrooms:
A vast living room opening to the lake. The home has 2 bedrooms and 2 baths with 4 unique climate zones controlled by sensors and heated floors. The master bedroom has an attached bathroom, a decent sized wardrobe with views of the lake. The guest bedroom is quite spacious as well with a detached bathroom with a tub/shower and a washer-dryer tucked in. Both the bedrooms have their own temperate controls!
Kitchen:
The modern kitchen has new energy efficient appliances plus a wine cooler, toaster, microwave oven, kettle and is ideal for short trips or extended stays. Includes all kitchen utensils, pots and pans, children's plates/cups and comes with a few basic pasta staples, sauce, cooking oil, spices, condiments, ramen noodles etc.

Internet:
The home is wired for extremely high speed internet provided by iFibre (both upload + download speeds clock at 1 Gig) and ideal for remote work and school.

Bummers that we couldn’t stay in the house but owner took care of everything and still had a great time.
Very nice place to get away
This was a great experience. Was a couple friends here for a bachelorette and we had an amazing time staying at the house. The shuttle service that came with the rental to and from winery, pool and resort was so so so amazing and we were so grateful for it! We had a great weekend! Communicating with the owner was an absolute breeZe and was grateful for that! The house had all the basic things we needed for our stay and was nice because really all we packed was food and our clothes and any blankets we wanted personally! Was a great trip! Look forward to coming back!
Our family was so pleased with our stay from arrival to departure. There is such ease to staying at this location, including a way to charge our Tesla right from the driveway, cook food in the kitchen and outside seating. The rooms are spacious and the kids found great sleeping spots on the foldout chairs and sleepers. The record collection, coffee and washer/dryer were used and were so nice to have! The owner was very responsive and every staff member we encountered was helpful, friendly and accommodating. We hope to stay again and have already recommended to friends!
Staff are courteous and attentive. The map to property does not have labeled roads, only landmarks and ends before you get to the property. The owner responded quickly to needs. Comfortable house rustic outside to man-made lake.
