Green Valley Lake, California
Green Valley Lake Escape
The “Hidden Gem” of the San Bernardino Mountains, Green Valley Lake is, at 7000´, a higher resort community than either Lake Arrowhead or Big Bear. This “best kept secret on the mountain” is secluded (nearly four miles away from State Highway 18), and surrounded by National Forest. For all these reasons it has remained small, picturesque, and uncrowded.
Green Valley Lake is a lively small town. It boasts of a pretty little lake that is stocked often with plentiful fish, and a small beach for swimming
The Green Valley Lake Log Cabin is loaded with all the features of your dream mountain home and has 3 Bedrooms and 1.5 Baths.
Our family owns the cabin and visits often. We've decided to share the use of our cabin and invite you to enjoy our wonderful escape.

Green Valley Lake
One thing that cannot be said about Green Valley Lake is that there is nothing to do here. We may not have mega-shopping malls, but we do have plenty of fishing, boating, swimming, and hiking. At the community Sports Court, there is volleyball, basketball, tennis, & badminton. There are barbecue facilities in the picnic area. The community has a 40-space Forest Service campground and a museum full of fascinating artifacts. Local musicians get together for jams every month at the Lake Inn. There are three Artisan Tours throughout the year where folks can check out what the local artists have been busily creating. In the summer there's a 4th of July Family Fun Day ; Barbecue, and on Labor Day weekend a Water Carnival. Green Valley Lake packs a whole lot of family fun into a small place

My family rented the cabin for 2 nights and were so happy with the cabin! There was plenty of room for our boys to run around in and out of the cabin. Beds were comfortable and clean. The kitchen had everything you need to cook as well as an outdoor bar-b-q for grilling. We loved the large patio to relax and enjoy the view. Our boys had a blast playing in the backyard and exploring the creek. We had some snow, so the experience was extra special. Eric was so great in answering any questions we may have had. We would definitely rent this cabin again.
enjoyed our stay, lovely property. will rent again in the future.
This cabin was so much fun, it was super cozy and the location was very secluded. I definitely plan on staying her again.
Long overdue review. Eric the homeowner is so pleasant and easy to work with. Arrived to a clean cabin with lots of woodsy charm. Loved the floor plan, the deck, & the open acceptance of our Husky dog (pet friendly does not always mean that, here it did!) Two days into our week stay, we realized we felt completely at home- Exactly what we had been hoping for. Being surrounded by nature was the perfect setting to relax and explore. Felt like home in no time, one of the biggest compliments we can give.
The cabin was clean, and everything that the owner said it was. We truly enjoyed our trip, and will be coming back agaln next year. We have stayed at other cabins at Green Valley lake before, and this was by far our best experience so far. Thanks Eric.
Stayed there for 4 days and our stay went well. I would recommend this place to others. Parking was kinda tight so I recommend no more than 1 vehicle, possible to fit 2 though. The picture shows a covered hot tub area but now its fenced in and allows for better viewing of the area. Using the remote control to control all the lights took a little getting used to, ultimately everything worked out. Great place to stay up in the mountains, definitely one of the better places in Green Valley Lake..
This log cabin had a nice rustic feel when you enter the home. The kids (aged 7-9) loved hanging around the cabin and playing games and using the outdoor hotub. The cabin was clean, with plenty of utensils and pans for cooking-important if you want to fry up your fish. There was also plenty of extra pillows and linens. Rooms, particularly the master bedroom was comfortable and spacious. Cons: parking is somewhat limited next to the cabin. Also the steps to the bedrooms are a little steep, so you might use more caution when using the bedrooms--this may be a concern for younger children and older guests.
We had a great time! We were a family of 4 adults a 1 child. I would definitely recommend this place and would come back again Everything was charming and lovely. We especially enjoyed the hot tub.
What an amazingly beautiful home! The pictures can't convey what a peaceful feeling comes over you when you stay in this cabin. We spent our first Christmas away from home this past Christmas. It was magical. The owner Eric emailed me a few days prior to our stay to let us know a Christmas tree and other decorations were in the cabin ready for us to enjoy. What an unexpected surprise! The driveway was cleared of snow prior to our arrival, the cabin is fully stocked and there are even snow toys in the basement. Eric is a joy to work with and made our stay perfect. He was quick to answer all our questions before and during our stay no matter how trivial. I recommend this cabin to those who wish to stay in a peaceful well cared for home. You truly get a small town welcome when you visit the shops. It's a perfect family vacation spot to relax. We definetly plan to return and make staying here a family tradition for years to come. Thank you Eric for sharing your beautiful home with us!
My family and I just spent a wonderful family vacation at this cabin. It was spacious, clean, and had all the amenities we wanted. I personally loved the back porch, for reading and just enjoying the mountain air. The kids loved the hot tub and the yard (and the reliable wifi). And it was in easy walking distance of some fantastic hiking and bouldering spots. Oh, and as dog owners, we especially love being able to bring our four-legged kids with us, too. We'll definitely be back.
