We had a wonderful 3 days here. Spent 2 days hiking around Long Lake. Neighborhood quiet and those we met were very friendly.
Loved the area!! Very quiet!! Dog friendly!!
We enjoyed our stay very much and will be rescheduling soon for the fall. The cabin is the perfect size for 2 retired people.
If all you need is a place to sleep, then this is for you. If you want more, then bring everything you need. Every. Thing. (No spatula to flip pancakes, no usable baking tray to make tater tots) The kitchen is under supplied - lacking even adequate cereal bowls or drinking glasses. I wish I could have more positive things to say. The place feels like a collection of family things that are either broken or old. Like chipped coffee mugs, cracked dishes, and pile of 10 worn-out hot pads. If you’re okay with crochet covers on a dirty chair, a torn “leather” couch, or mismatched dusty old pillows then it’s ok. There’s nothing “wrong” with the place (doesn’t matter there is no dishwasher - you won’t be cooking) and if you plan to microwave your meals then save the money and stay here. We arrrived very late the night before we wanted to ski and the house was 41degrees. There is one very small stove on ground floor to warm the entire place. The floors are made to look wood but are some type of VERY cold tile. Giving it 4wtars for location. We won’t be back but it may work for you. The owner would definitely benefit from purchasing small things, like dishes and cups, even a spatula - and cleaning out the “junk” of old games and clutter. But - it’s close by - location location location!
No broom or mop. Shaggy area rug had urine on it. I told the property manager I had rolled it up. They didn't tell us a bear broke in early this year. You can definitely see where he came up the bake stairs.
Very clean! Great for small family.
