Neat A-frame style. Great correspondence from owner via VRBO!! Front door was a little temperamental to lock but was fine if you pull up a little.
The driveway was a little steep but manageable. The view made it totally worth it.
Loved staying here with grandmother and the females of our family. Plenty of room and cozy decor. Loved the fireplaces and seating out back.
The cabin experience was awesome. As a non mountain person I wish I would have know how steep the drive up would be. It was pretty intense for me. Also the bear warnings, please take these very serious. We were enjoying the upper deck one morning (no food involved) and around the corner of the deck comes a big black bear. We were pretty shocked. There was a family of 4 bears Wondering the around. After they left we went down to explore the fire pit and as we’re coming up the steps the bears are coming down to meet us. Lucky with some loud yelling and banging they left. After that we were never completely comfortable with being outside. This took away from the overall experience a bit. On a side note the cabin was definitely the highlight.
Loved every bit of it. Great host and great property equal a WIN!
We had a wonderful stay. The home accommodated our group easily (2 adults, 3 kids). The kids loved the game room and the hot tub! It was the cleanest mountain home I've ever stayed in. Thank you for a great week.
I rented this cabin for a celebration of my mother's 75th birthday. When we arrived, the house was cute with contemporary decor. The hot tub was nice and the views amazing. The issue I had were that there were dead bugs on the bathroom and bedroom floors when we arrived, also the downstairs bathroom sink and shower did not drain. I contacted the host who said the house should have been inspected prior to arrival, but it certainly wasn't. I believe someone came to fix the shower, but the sink still did not drain so there was toothpaste in it for several hours until it eventually did drain. My daughters, who stayed in the loft bedroom noticed several small bugs crawling on the window blinds. I recognize that the cabin was in the mountains, but a pest service may help. The deck was nice to have our morning coffee.
This property is pretty close to town but far enough from the crowds which gives a great place to relax, awesome views, had some black bears walk by, so make sure you keep alert, the house has everything you need.
The house was clean and very comfortable for the 6 of us. The steep parking was difficult but we managed by backing into the space.
We had a great time at this cabin! Up on ski mountain so close to Ober but also an easy drive to town. Cabin has great decks, views (we enjoyed watching the black bears everyday), is clean and has everything you need for a nice relaxing trip in the mountains. The host was very responsive when needed. Plenty of room for the 6 of us, comfortable beds, fun games to play on rainy days and the closest community pool is a little hidden gym. Highly recommend this cabin!
My husband and I spent 5 days here with his parents and two of our children. The property is clean and spacious with a phenomenal view. The property owner communicated with us and was very nice! We had no issues accessing the driveway, I did notice that in some reviews. A car can easiy access it. One thing to note would be that if you have people with you who aren't able to climb steps (handicapped...ect) the hot tub won't be an option for them as it's on the bottom deck. That wasn't a problem at all for us as his parents didn't want anything to do with the hot tub. However the entry level floor was perfect for them. There's a bedroom, bwthroom, kitchen, living area and a deck with a gorgeous view on that floor. The kids were able to stay downstairs with their own living area, games, a screened in deck and the hot tub. We saw a total of 6 bears (4 of them included a mom and her 3 cubs). I would have been happy not leaving the peoperty the whole week!
We had a great time. The cabin was clean, easy to find, and made our stay enjoyable.
Good setup for the 5 of us. Great deck with view. Kitchen was well equipped. Negative would be the drive up the hill and parking.
When we arrived there was a strong Strom that took out all the power in the area. The house is also in the hills and some steep roads. Not knowing the area it was quite a scary drive in total darkness. The house did not have a generator, and when we contacted the property manager we got no answer. Power did come on at 8am once we woke up in the morning. We loved that there was 3 bathrooms however the vent to the lower bathroom vents right into the bedroom, so shower steam and smells went right into the bedroom. Beds were also very noisy, any toss and turn made noise. The TV and play room was convenient and the view was amazing. The house fit our family of 7 nicely. Kids liked the bunks. Driveway was hard, we got stuck in the gravel. The kids wanted to explore, not much yard to explore but they still had fun. Overall we did enjoy the house, it was clean and offered everything we needed.
Great cabin but area of cabin is very hazardous so many turns as the owner stated in his message other than that wonderful cabin for small gateway.
Loved the stultifying of the house! Also the amazing view! Very clean and well kept! Enjoyed my stay
Nice Cabin with Mountain views . Really a good value all things considered. Plenty of space for a group of 7. Close to Gatlinburg, great communication with the owner. Only item we didn’t love was parking but if you want views parking isn’t always great. Enjoyed our stay.
We absolutely loved our stay at this cabin. It exceeded all of our expectations. We loved the view!
The property was easy to find. It was clean and so relaxing. Everything we needed was right there!
Great house. Deck is wonderful with a beautiful view. It is a wonderful place to be with family. Plenty of spacious hanging out area. So many nice touches. Clearly they have thought through every aspect of your stay to make it perfect. Of all the places you could stay in Gatlinburg, this one is the best!
We were all very happy. It was well cleaned and well stocked. The setup was great for our family group. Every party had their own floor.
Our group enjoyed the beautiful views from the spacious deck, great game room on the lower-level, and mid-century furnishings. The steep drive through the mountain took some getting used to, but it wasn’t too far from Gatlinburg and only about 20-minutes to Pigeon Forge. There was just the right amount of space for the 6 of us.
True 5 Star. Host prepared our weekend with attention to every detail. CLEAN. Beautiful view. Close to downtown Gatlinburg and our favorite dining spot, The Peddler Steakhouse. We have been to others that fell short but this exceeded our expectations. We will be back!
