Only 10 miles from the west entrance to Glacier National Park and a short drive to the Hungry Horse Reservoir and nearby Flathead Lake, our cabins are your perfect home base for exploring everything the area has to offer. Built during the 1950s while the Hungry Horse Dam was being constructed, these cabins were simple dwellings and at one time were without plumbing or electricity. They have been completely renovated, including new HVAC and are now darling little vacation homes with a lot of character and history.
This stylish little A-frame cabin features climate controlled heating and air conditioning, a comfortable king bed in the upstairs bedroom loft, and a big bathroom with double vanity. The kitchen is stocked with all essentials for cooking homemade meals, including basic spices and a coffee bar. The living area includes a queen size pullout sofa bed as well.

This was a fantastic place to stay. So close to Glacier. Nice restaurants around the area. The communication was great and appreciated!
We stayed at this property at the end of September. It's 15 minutes from the west entrance of GNP and in a quiet area. It was also bigger than we expected. If I had to complain, the wifi was spotty. It wouldn't have been an issue, but the TV runs off it, so it was difficult to watch a movie after a long day of hiking. If we end up in the area again, we wouldn't hesitate to stay here.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this classic A-frame cabin. It exudes coziness and comes well-stocked, making it feel like a home away from home. The bed, located on the second level, boasted a superb mattress ensuring restful nights. While the internet was a tad intermittent, it's understandable considering the rural locale. The cabin's location serves as an excellent base for exploring Flathead Lake, Whitefish, and the west side of Glacier National Park. We would definitely consider staying here again on our next visit.
We enjoyed how clean and cozy this A Frame was. The bed and sheets were very comfortable, the kitchen and bathroom had everything we needed. The proximity to Glacier Park was great. We had a problem with very slow internet, which we needed everyday to make our hiking plans, and the slow internet affected TV watching too. I also wish I had known that it is in a gravel parking lot with other tiny homes, with no private outdoor place to enjoy quiet scenery. Because we were gone so much, that wasn't a big problem. All in all, it suited our needs very well.
Cute, comfortable, just as advertised and in a perfect location for access to the West entrance of Glacier National Park. Literally 15 seconds off the main highway leading to the park, but still quiet. Nestled in a small compound with other rentals so maybe not perfect if you’re looking for something very secluded. Wasn’t an issue for us and we found that it had absolutely everything we needed. The pizza place about 5 minutes up the road (toward the park) was terrific. Would recommend this property highly for 1-2 people looking for a well-located base camp for outings into Glacier.
When we drove up there was a deer feeding in the yard . Nice way to arrive. Pretty setting, good accommodations, close enough to areas we wanted to be in.
The cabin I originally booked was unavailable the week I was in town. This owner is communicated excellently with me to accommodate my needs. I will likely book this again when I need to return to the area for work! Great place! Clean and Comfortable!
