This was an absolutely wonderful place to stay and a steal at the price. I have never been treated so kindly in ANY place that i have ever stayed before. The room was great and very comfortable also full of intriguing things. The deck is a great and inviting place to eat breakfast and she doesn't disappoint. This is the only place i would wat to stay anytime i visit Eagle Point!
Rose Ann and Duane were wonderful. They are great people and were very accomodating to my late schedule. Rose Ann was very gracious in getting up at whatever time i needed to cook me breakfast. The little dogs Karina and Luca were a pleasure, always happy and excited to see you. The room was great, comfortable and clean. And the property was nice to walk around. I am looking forward to my next stay. Wonderful people.
Jan and I needed a place to anchor for a few days, hoping to have at least one fine day to visit Crater Lake, a first for us both. Duane and Roseanne were very gracious hosts opening their home to folks like us for a modest fee. The property is very pleasant, exhibiting a near constant focus on presentation and maintenance. Our room was comfortable and private (when we would close the door), with a shared bathroom with other guests, if there were any at the same time- which there were not. To come back from our daily outings to their home and have access to their kitchen for our simple meals was always easy, simply needing to consider their need for a sense of home and alone mealtime. Breakfast- the meal provided by our hosts- was always a good start to our day. Thank you, Roseanne and Duane!
WOW! I cannot say enough good about this stay. We were both under the weather almost from the moment we arrived, and RoseAnn & Duane could not have taken better care of us. They are both hilarious, so sweet and caring, and we absolutely enjoyed them both so much. The house is decorated so cool, and RoseAnn is from New York which I am obsessed with so it was a perfect fit. Their home is so lovely, cozy, warm, and inviting. Karina & Luca the little doggies are such sweet little loves and constantly gave us snuggles. There are two sweet adorable kitties outside and also “guard” geese outside. It took a day for them to get used to me, but once they knew I was trusted they were cool with me =-) There are also deer that were born on the property so they walk super close up to the house and eat cherries from the tree, and there are even fawns right now! It was like wild animal kingdom and just so magical to witness. This was a beautiful, quiet, amazing stay and I will definitely be back!
Quiet rural forest property a wee bit out of town but suited us just fine. Rose Ann & Duane, our wonderful hosts, provided a clean neat bedroom, bathroom, plus fantastic breakfasts in their spacious and lovely home. Their small dogs and watchful geese were all also welcoming. We weren’t the most “available” guests as we spent most of our daytime hours away from the lodging on family visits. (hope to change that up next trip) This IS country living at its finest!
We loved our weekend stay with RoseAnn and Duane. We felt right at home with them, their dogs, cats, geese, deer, and of course Lady Liberty welcoming all from the island in the pond. The views are beautiful, RoseAnn’s breakfasts are absolutely delicious, and you probably won’t leave without a book from her vast collection. Their place is a rare find and they are a treasure.
This was a wonderful experience; delightful hosts!
Country Living at its Finest was a perfect stop during a whirlwind trip in the Pacific Northwest! Listing is accurate but doesn’t even scratch the surface of how peaceful and nice it is. There is wildlife and a gorgeous outdoor space (that we enjoyed looking at from the air conditioned great room as we got to ‘enjoy’ a heat wave and area wildfires leaving a haze and smoky smell. RoseAnn and Duane are great hosts; friendly and full of knowledge and recommendations. I truly enjoyed chatting with RoseAnn! Her suggestion was prefect with when to head to Crater Lake as it felt like we had the park to ourselves for a while and got to see it’s glory and majesty before the smoky haze rolled in. Highly recommend for a couple or an individual needing a place to unwind and relax. And breakfast was a huge bonus as it was fantastic.
We stayed 3 nights at this beautiful property in July. I booked this property because of its location (close to Crater Lake National Park) and reasonable price. We were greeted warmly by RoseAnn and Duane and their 2 fur babies when we arrived. They were very personable and had everything ready for us. We had a great chat and a look around their beautiful property. My husband and I have never slept so well!! The bed was comfortable and it cooled down at night with the windows open to let in the cool mountain air! We had our own bathroom which was perfect! RoseAnn made us wonderful breakfasts each day and made suggestions about what to do, and where to go and dine. Everything she suggested was spot on! I felt like we had made new friends by the time we left. It was an incredible stay! We would be stay again in a heartbeat! Thank you RoseAnn and Duane! SKOL Vikings!! Roseanne and Duane are the best hosts. They make you feel like longtime friends or family. Breakfast in the morning ing was superb. They gave great tips for where to eat supper in town and also on our itinerary for the upcoming days. The mountain air was refreshing and loved seeing all the animals around the farm.
A nice and comfortable cozy room. Beautiful setting in the country. Great hosts.
