Instead, you can indulge your need for variety and feed your aesthetic senses with all the unusual and artful details in this home. You can soak your senses in Victorian home ambiance featuring 120-year-old oak floors, painstakingly hand-painted walls, decorative ceilings, unusual chandeliers, genuine antiques in a variety of styles. History:
This California Victorian duplex was built circa 1900 by Mr. and Mrs. Green and featured in a water tower photo of the Campbell Flood of 1910 and the house thankfully was above the waterline.

This house is charming! It had everything we needed; the outdoor space was perfect to gather and relax. The location is walking distance to downtown restaurants/shops. The beds are comfortable, the kitchen has everything you need: we had coffee on the porch; made a meal one evening; and were able to come and go with no worries. We will be back for sure!
So comfortable and so quiet, even though this cottage was only one block from downtown Campbell and its amazing collection of restaurants, bars and shops. We loved the time period furnishings and were especially taken with the garden and its mosaic pathways and fruit trees (fig and lemon and lime) where we enjoyed our morning coffee, and bird-watched.
Beautiful home with an amazing backyard. Everything checked out as listed! Could not have asked for a better stay anywhere that is located such a peaceful neighborhood.
Exactly as advertised. Beautiful house and property. The house is a hundred years old so we could hear the people next door, but they turned out to have kids too. Restaurants were all walkable, and the farmers market was popping. Loved it. Thanks!
Campbell is a beautiful city! This house was located right in front of the city hall and a library. A very quiet but also active neighborhood! Cynthia was an amazing host. She replied back to all of my questions and kept me updated with anything that was going on. The house is very clean, cozy, roomy! Beds were very comfortable and all of the rooms were spacious. Although, keep note that the bathtub is pretty high to get in. There is a stool to help you get on but other than that everything went well. Highly recommend this stay!! Thank you!
We enjoyed our stay at this Victorian duplex house. The hosts are very nice and friendly. You are so close to downtown Campbell that we pretty much walked everywhere. There’s a nice park nearby where you can walk along a creek. The beds were comfortable and the backyard was a nice place to sit outside - lots of flowers and succulents to enjoy. We would return to this rental.
Property was well maintained. Outside area greatly depicted California, lemon tree, flowers, cactus. House has an old Victorian flare. Nice and cozy. One block away from food and drinking establishments. Perfect! I highly recommend staying at this location.
My sister & her family really enjoyed staying at this place during just past December holidays. The house is very cute, clean, conveniently located and it has a beautiful backyard/ garden with lemon and avocado trees. The host (Cynthia) was very nice, attentive and provided us with all the necessary information for getting around, as well as for check-in & out procedures. We would highly recommend this place to future visitors!
Very much enjoyed our stay. The town/city was very nice and the event we came out for was outstanding. The home was charming.
Enjoyed our stay at this downtown Campbell home. Cynthia was very responsive and home was very comfortable.
The house is as described, it's super clean and it's wonderful. The beds are very comfortable. The kitchen has a nice selection of tools and cooking supplies. There are avocados, figs and lemons in the backyard along with several seating options and a firepit. The location is fantastic. Downtown Campbell is about a block away, with a lot of great restaurants, bars and shops. Campbell is centrally located in Silicon Valley for easy commutes anywhere including San Francisco, the East Bay and Santa Cruz/Monterey. The host is very nice, check in and out were a breeze. We look forward to staying here again on our next trip.
Didn't know that I booked the VRBO just only a couple of streets from my husband's house that he was raised in. It was fully stocked and all Samsung appliances. The verandah was nice to sit in and relaxed. Cynthia called me up and said that our stay was a shorter time in her VRBO, but she kindly extended it for another night. We were so glad that contacted us and we paid for another night. I highly recommend her VRBO and I would book it again soon.
Taking a shower was difficult as getting into the tub required help as there is no grab bar and is crazy deep. Parking is either on the street or lot across which has limited days and hours This is a two family home with a full time renter in the other 1/2 so yard and porch is shared Lots of junk on one side of yard so not too appealing to sit out back The space was nice but should get rid of that old tub and put in a safe shower Location was wonderful and loved the Market on Sunday
Was strange that they had a Gardener there every day during our stay. He was nice, but invasion of privacy bigtime. Parking was a nightmare if you have a walking condition that is a problem. The tub is not ADU complaint and I nearly broke my neck a few times. The tub is awesome but getting in and out was very difficult. There are no TVs in bedrooms. The house is shared with tenants who were cool, but another invasion of privacy. location was great.
This is our second time staying here. So many wonderful new additions. Easy check-in and check-out. We have been with VRBO for over 30 years and this is one of our very favorites. One of a kind and very safe area. We will always stay here when visiting our son in San Jose.
Things we loved: Very short train ride from the airport. Walking distance to Downtown Campbell and to the rail / bus systems. The house has character. Clean. Quiet. Backyard garden is lovely. Well appointed kitchen. Gracious hosts. We will be back!
Plenty of restaurants
The place was perfect for my family and dog. Everything was just as advertised. This is our second stay there and we plan to return.
