The Wi-Fi was terrible and the cable on the tv was spotty and would sometimes not get a signal. The screens on the windows and doors were falling off.
This property worked for what we needed. The view from the porch of the cabin was beautiful and we didn’t mind the 15-20 minute drive to get to the attractions we were going to for the day. The grounds themselves and all of the cabins could use some updating/sprucing up on the outside, it was a little bit of an eye sore when you first pull in. Once inside the cabin though you can tell it has been updated. It was very cute and cozy feeling. We enjoyed the fact that there was a fully functional kitchen because we don’t like to eat out for every meal. The fire place heater was a nice touch as well. A few things that could be upgraded or fixed is the slow drain in the bathroom sink which wasn’t a big deal but you defiantly had to let it drain before the next person used it especially if brushing your teeth or washing your face which require more water. The other thing in the bathroom was that the door can’t open all the way because it hits the sink, we found this kind of irritating because you have to stand at the sinks side between it and the toilet rather than in front of the sink due to the door being in the way. On the plus side there were plenty of towels in the bathroom, kitchen had cooking essentials and the fridge/freezer was nice to have. Heating system worked well and the bed was comfy but could probably use just a little mattress topper to make it a little softer. Side note: bring tissues with you if you’re one who needs them, there weren’t any. Overall, great stay!
This place was perfect for us on our anniversary weekend get away. Just enough room to be comfy. Kitchen area is big enough to make breakfast and a modest lunch. Outside area is beautiful and well kept. Bathroom us just large enough to get things done. Saw other reviews about the water having a smell, did not have any issues. Might be time for a new mattress, did not supply alot of support, but hey was not expecting it be like the one at home. Overall a great experience! Will definitely keep this place in mind when visiting again.
It is a really cute cabin and there is a great deal of privacy being at the end of the row of cabins.
I was overall disappointed with our stay. Basic amenities that were advertised were spotty. The Wi-Fi was terrible and being in an area with low cell service made it difficult to even find a coffee shop near by. The television would go in and out of working - the channels wouldn’t get a signal and I would get an error message that it couldn’t be reached. The check out time is early which made us rush in the morning and the check in time is late. If we had chose only a night here it would have been a super short stay. The screens on the windows were falling off and the main door screen was just held on by some electric tape which was also falling off. The view was nice and we enjoyed the pool but overall for the price, i was extremely disappointed.
It was cozy, very small, but good access to the whites. It was pretty dusty next to the bed, but everywhere else was very clean! A few things to note: there is quite a bit in the kitchen, but the knives barely cut, and the only condiments are salt and pepper (no cooking oils!) so if you plan on cooking be sure to bring those things. The mattress was also very very hard. But overall very cozy, the fireplace was great, and easy access to great hiking spots!
A bit disappointed this trip. Hot Tub wasn’t working, found out it hasn’t worked in a couple months; no Screen door, bad odor in the kitchen faucet (smelled like rotten eggs), bathroom sink didn’t drain properly, room wasn’t completely cleaned when we arrived, the list goes on, and on unfortunately.
Well furnished and maintained cottages, it provided more than what we expected for a quick getaway. Lots of wonderful trails and wonders of nature around. Will definitely stay here again.
Cute & cozy, and well equipped, can’t ask for too much more! the hot water did run out on my bf though (but not me, and i take longer showers), just as a heads up. i’d stay there again
While the location is idyllic, the cottage lacks a sufficient heating system to support the space. Additionally, there was a strong sulfur smell everytime we turned on the faucets or shower coming from the water supply.
A nice little studio cabin at the end of a row of little cabins. This one is roomier than another one with a separate bedroom I stayed in but had to move out of due to frozen pipes. Kitchen area and bathroom recently redone with new appliances and fixtures. Unfortunately, virtually all communication with staff/ mgmt was done via text who seemed to be in Oregon.
