This spacious, one bedroom apartment feels incredibly cozy while giving you room to stretch out and relax. The space is quiet and private, while benefiting from being centrally located. The beautiful bathroom with tub/shower and custom tile is attached to the huge master bedroom. Enjoy a King size bed with soft and firm pillow options, along with an electric fireplace and 55” smart TV in your room. The kitchen has all the tools you need, whether you want to to cook a romantic, private dinner, or just brew a quick cup of coffee or tea in the morning. It is stocked with coffee, tea, some light snacks, and cooking essentials (oil, seasonings). The living room will invite you in with a cozy propane fireplace. Sink into the luxury sofa to be entertained by the 65” smart TV, fully equipped with cable and set up to view any of your streaming services. The apartment shares one kitchen wall with a hair salon, so there may be some noise during working hours (M-F, 8-5).
The Long Beach Peninsula is loaded with attractions and activities and the Hideaway is right in the middle of it all. There is a walking trail to the beach just across the street which will put you in the sand in minutes, where you can watch a spectacular sunset or dig razor clams (see Fish and Wildlife for a schedule of digs). Bring a bike or rent one downtown, so you can cruise the 8.5 mile paved Discovery trail, which takes you through the rolling dunes along the water all the way to the Port of Ilwaco. Enjoy the Long Beach Peninsula’s 4 state parks, boasting everything from peaceful trails and wildlife viewing to historic forts and lighthouses, as well as some of the best storm watching on the west coast. Surf’s up at Waikiki Beach! No, this isn’t Hawaii, but Washington is home to another Waikiki Beach where surfing, driftwood forts, and gorgeous views abound. The lower Columbia River is also at your fingertips where you can enjoy abundant fishing and crabbing. If a stroll through downtown is more your style, you can explore numerous shops just half a mile away. And after working up an appetite, enjoy the multiple restaurants and bars a short walk or drive away. Or raise a glass at North Jetty Brewery, where you can enjoy a variety of beers and ciders brewed right on the peninsula.
