My husband, my newborn and I were happy to get out of town- we even paid for an early check in. Upon arrival - the fire alarms were loudly emanating from the building- this concerned us from entering the building. After an hour of walking around /waiting we returned; upon arrival the alarms were still ringing. A couple staying in the same building said the alarms had been ringing for quite some time but were not ringing out of hazard and that we were safe to enter .We had to put our belongings somewhere at this point so we endured the alarms . After getting settled the alarms were still going off so I contacted the site to attempt to speak to someone and was informed that the situation was “being handled”. We couldn’t stand to stay in the building so we decided to go back out and eventually have dinner at a location near by. After dinner we went back our building and to our shock and bewilderment after- the alarms were STILL going off! I was completely upset at this point. We paid to have an early check in time, we had our newborn with us, we were ready to settle down way beyond this point and the Alarm was still going off. I once again contacted the Sonder people / person and was offered 30% off of our stay for our inconveniences- normally I would be ok with this, but I was expecting my 30$ - paid separately after the booking for my early check in on top of 30% discounted for our room due to not being able to be in our rented space for over 6 hours. Terrible hospitality.
This place was comfortable and clean in a walkable neighborhood. A dehumidifier would have been good to have, as the couch and rug were slightly damp and never really dried out during our one-night stay.
This was a great place to stay, the location was perfect being that stores and restaurants were within walking distance. The place itself was well taken care of and very home-y. We would definitely stay here again!
Great vibe great location great place. Loved it !!!!
Great location, easy access, and even let us stow our bags while we explored the city.
So cute and so comfy, loved this spot in Savannah! Literally the best location too
First impression was a bit Leary. Checking into the back alley. But accommodations were great, not as noisy as anticipated. Clean and well equipped. The only thing to know is that the lockers were not secure and anyone could truly get in, so would t recommend leaving anything there you aren’t completely ready to lose. Other than that, a wonderful stay.
The location is the draw to this property; we are frequent Savannah visitors and always stay on Broughton. Knowing this property was above Vice Lounge we opted to stay from Sunday-Tuesday to avoid the noise mentioned in other reviews. Despite the lounge being closed the room echoed with the steps and sounds of our neighboring Sonder guests every move. The noises were so loud we each awoke several times per night thinking that our door was being kicked in even with the provided noise maker on. We stay in broughton vrbo’s with very similar nature to this dwelling often and creaks are to be expected but this was on another level. The cleanliness was appropriate other than some mildew in the bathroom and a red spot presumed to be dried blood on the shower curtain. I would prefer to not stay at this location again and certainly not during a weekend but it was adequate as a weekday spot.
In the heart of the historic district, a beautiful loft that convenient to many restaurants, shopping, and everything you need. Short walk to riverfront. Scenic run to Forsyth Park. Very clean and well appointed. City noise in background but not annoying or distracting. Check-in is a bit complicated since parking is many blocks away. Good directions for how to check in to building, elevator, room and parking but does add time to arrival and departure so plan for it. We would stay again.
I really enjoyed my stay looked just like the photos online I did not even mind the construction parking is a issue and you hear everything and everyone around you but I will definetly book with sonder again. It was VERY CLEAN and check out was easy
