What you should know...



Although Wengen is a car-free mountain village, arriving by car is no problem. There is a large multi-storey car park at Lauterbrunnen train station, with trolleys for your luggage and lifts to the station platforms. It is just a 14-minute scenic cog train ride up to Wengen. The trains depart every 30 minutes until 9.30 pm and then hourly. Taxis are available for hire at Wengen train station if required.



Just note that it does not have a washing machine or dryer. But there is a self-service laundromat in the village about 280 metres (3 minutes walk) if required.
