Roma, Lazio
My stylish apartment is the perfect base when visiting Rome. Conveniently located in the exciting area of Testaccio and with excellent transport links, you'll be right in the hub of the city but able to escape the must and bustle!
The living area is an open space composed of a sitting room with a sofa, a single sofa bed and a TV, a dining table and a full equipped kitchen. There is even another single foldable bed for a forth guest. Relax on the sofa, hang out with your friends, feel yourself at home! It's a welcoming and inviting space where you can kick back.
The master bedroom has a super comfortable double bed and, with fresh luxury linens, what more do you need for a good night's sleep You don't have to live out of your suitcase; plenty of storage room means you can get unpacking and start feeling at home right away.
Freshen up in the lovely bathroom - enjoy a soak in the large tub. White fluffy towels and shampoo are provided!
If cooking is your thing, you're going to love spending time in the stylish kitchen. All the appliances are modern and easy to use - you'll enjoy showing off your culinary skills here! My property will be professionally cleaned before your stay.
Super clean flat in “the last true neighbourhood” in Rome. We saw the same people every day around the neighbourhood and one even stopped me to warn me because the flap on my purse came loose. It’s a real, working-class neighbourhood with good people. Our host was very kind and helpful. It’s a nice, quiet place and we appreciated the fast commute to the sights but being able to escape back to our quiet area without the chaos.
Enjoyed staying in the Trastevere area with so many walkable restaurants, cafes, markets and tourist sites. We were a 20 minute walk from the Colosseum, and enjoyed all the beauty and history around us. A great fresh food market just down the street and some of the best gelato as well. Our host was very helpful and available as well.
We stayed 2 nights and would have loved staying longer. The apartment is cozy, bathroom is clean and roomy, the kitchen appeared stocked well enough. The neighborhood is very safe. Our host was very nice and even explained the parking: it is easy enough to find a spot with blue lines (parking fee), but if you're lucky, grab one with white lines - they're free. Nearby Testacchio market is great for foodies and a must for lunch. Don't bother with Trastevere for dinner, it is VERY touristy. Our host recommended Testacchio instead, and we were very happy (just make sure you show up early or have a reservation). Try and get a table at Taverna Volpetti. And DO NOT miss out on Pasticceria Barberini - spectacular pastries for breakfast. For excellent gelato, a slight trip across town to Come Il Latte.
